Diddy’s recent arrest came as no surprise to many people as his insane parties, known as “freak offs,” were associated with illicit activities. For years there were rumors of Diddy assaulting women and engaging in relationships with underage girls.
With Diddy now in prison, many of his former friends and associates are scrubbing their social media accounts and distancing themselves from the disgraced music mogul. However, 50 Cent appears to be relishing in Diddy’s downfall.
50 Cent Speaks Out About Diddy
Following Diddy’s arrest, rapper 50 Cent wasted no time in trolling him on Instagram. The post was a picture of 50 Cent and Drew Barrymore with the caption “Here I am keeping good company with @thedrewbarrymoreshow and I don’t have 1,000 bottles of lube at the house.”
The post was a clear jab at Diddy and the reports that Homeland Security agents found over 1,000 bottles of lube during the raid on his home back in March. One commenter responded to the post saying, “ Diddy got more oil than Saudi Arabia.”
Diddy has a long history of legal issues, including both civil and criminal suits. Over the last few years, a wave of women have come out accusing Diddy of sexual assault and other crimes.
Of course, the most serious accusations against Diddy began surfacing after Homeland Security raided his homes back in March. Then, on September 16 he was arrested and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.
Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Manhattan, where he will likely remain until his trial. Funnily enough, this is the same prison that R. Kelly went to when he awaited trial.
50 Cent and Diddy’s Feud
While the allegations against Diddy are very serious and must be treated as such, it is hard to not get a laugh out of him having over 1,000 bottles of lube in his house.
In fact, the post by 50 Cent is just one of thousands who are making their way around social media. Countless videos and memes take aim at the bottles and why Diddy needed so many.
As for 50 Cent, he has never been on good terms with Diddy. Their feud seemingly dates back to the early 2000s when 50 Cent released a song that pinned the death of Biggie Smalls on Diddy. Since then, the two have traded barbs at each other countless times.
Things really heated up at the end of 2023 when 50 Cent began work on a documentary about Diddy’s criminal activity. He even pledged to donate all of the money made from the movie to sexual assault victims.
50 Cent has also taken the time to call out other celebrities who previously partied with Diddy. Numerous celebrities including Pink and Usher have wiped their social media accounts in the wake of Diddy’s arrest while not speaking out against the accusations.
50 Cent is clearly frustrated that few people in Hollywood and the music world have called out Diddy, but many of these people are scared they may be the next target of investigators.
