With all of the mystery surrounding Prince William and his wife Kate’s cancer diagnosis, King Charles has largely stayed out of the news cycles. The king is notably dealing with his diagnosis of prostate cancer last year. That is leaving many wondering how the king and his wife are doing and what their relationships with William and Harry look like.
Media Frenzy For The Royal Family
From the Harry and Meghan wedding to the death of the Queen, there has been a lot of news coverage on the royals over the last few years. Unfortunately, much of that coverage has been rather tragic, and it appears that the royal family can’t catch a break.
Harry has notably had a rocky relationship with his family since marrying Meghan. The couple’s move to America and dropping of their royal titles angered many in the family. However, they did manage to patch things up for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.
Unfortunately, things proceeded to worsen for the family as King Charles was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which was disclosed in February 2024. William’s wife, Kate Middleton, also went through an abdominal surgery in January.
After a few months, followers of the royal family noticed Kate wasn’t around. Eventually, they announced that Kate had also been diagnosed with cancer. The good news is that both Kate and King Charles have good prognoses and recent updates from the family indicate that the two are doing well.
Why Doesn’t Queen Camilla Spend Time With Prince Harry’s Children?
Beyond the string of problems afflicting the royal family, King Charles’s wife Camilla has made several odd statements lately, raising eyebrows about her condition.
Most notably, she spoke several times about her grandchildren, including how she spends time with all of them. The only problem is that she appears to be leaving out Harry’s children.
Keep in mind that Camilla has two children and five grandchildren from her previous marriage. In some cases, she is confusing her biological grandchildren with the grandchildren of King Charles. There are also some rumors that Camilla is trying to keep King Charles away from his grandchildren, specifically Harry and Meghan’s children.
Is Camilla Encouraging King Charles To Stay Away From Harry And His Children?
King Charles has reportedly discussed visiting his son Harry and his grandchildren in the United States. However, nothing is official and that is unlikely in the near future given the King’s cancer treatments. Some speculate that Camilla is the one encouraging King Charles to stay away from Harry.
It is possible that Harry is to blame for his poor relationship with his father and brother. Their problems are definitely not one-sided, but Camilla has proven herself as a very hostile person over the years, so it would be no surprise if she kept her husband from seeing his kids and grandkids.
It is a very sad situation that King Charles has only been able to see Harry’s children a couple of times, and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon.
Hopefully, Harry makes it a point to repair his relationship with his father and brother. On the other hand, it would be pretty funny (and sad) if a king could not see his own child and grandchildren because of an over controlling wife.
