Jennifer is Taking a Break from Her Current Partner
Jennifer and her partner John decided to take a break when Ben and JLo decided to get divorced. In Touch Weekly reported that a source close to Jennifer claimed her ongoing interaction with Ben led to her relationship with John breaking down.
The source had the following to say about how things have been progressing between the two during this stressful period in their lives. “Ben’s been turning to Jen [Garner] for advice and support, and that’s been a big source of annoyance for John. He doesn’t enjoy competing with her ex-husband for her attention.”
The source claimed that Ben was using Jennifer as his personal therapist as he navigated his divorce from JLo. They said that he has basically been running to Jennifer all the time with an endless stream of miniature crises.
Yet, despite his neediness, the source pointed out that Jennifer has continued to be there for Ben. This has driven a wedge between her and her partner John.
No one seems to know for sure just how Ben’s divorce is actually going. However, it’s clear that he has been spending at least some of his time with Jennifer, and the two are wholly committed to raising their kids together. Their future looks complicated at best, but their family seems to be functioning well enough for now.
Ben and Jennifer Have Been Spotted Together
According to In Touch Weekly, Ben and Jennifer were spotted together a few times as Ben’s divorce came into being. Now, Jennifer is essentially single again and some are implying that the two may reunite soon enough.
When JLo filed for divorce, she and Ben had only been together as a married couple for two years. Ben and Jennifer were spotted together very shortly before JLo filed their divorce papers.
In Touch Weekly’s source claimed that Jennifer’s friends have not shared in her support for Ben and would prefer she kept seeing John. Their relationship has been an on-again-off-again situation in the past though.
According to In Touch Weekly, they actually split back in 2020 for a while and then got back together in 2021. Their current separation could just be them following a similar pattern before getting back together once again.
Jennifer is Committed to their Kids
In Touch Weekly reported that Jennifer has no interest in reconciling with Ben or rekindling their relationship, despite any evidence to the contrary. Instead, she is simply committed to helping him and co-parenting effectively.
The publication’s source admitted that Jennifer is simply prioritizing her kids and their shared family. She has decided to put their needs above her own, no matter what. That means being there for Ben when he runs into trouble.
So far, Jennifer really has been there for Ben throughout the entire divorce process. It remains to be seen whether or not new feelings can emerge between the two over time.
