Sister Wives was one of TLC’s most popular shows, but today nearly everyone in the Brown family has gone their separate ways. New details on the family’s drama are also coming out on an almost daily basis. Now, Robyn is speaking out about her relationship with Kody and Janelle is snapping back.
Robyn Brown’s Accusations
Robyn recently took to Instagram to answer some questions. She did so in an Instagram reel with questions sent in by TLC producers to hype up the final season of the show.
After a few questions about how she would describe herself and giving advice to her younger self, Robyn was asked to talk about something fans don’t know about her. She responded by saying that she “is not made for television” and that it’s “not my gig.”
While Robyn was just one part of Sister Wives, it is sad to hear that she does not like being in front of the camera. However, there are many people starring in reality TV shows who do not enjoy it and are simply there for a paycheck.
However, Robyn’s comments raise questions about whether or not she was forced to do the show by Kody and his other wives. It’s clear that Robyn wasn’t always happy on the show, but she is the only one who still remains with Kody.
The comments on the reel were pretty brutal with many posters blaming her for the failure of the other women’s marriages. One commenter wrote “You’re not misunderstood, you wrecked 3 marriages” while another said, “She’s been unlikable since day one. She never wanted polygamy, she wanted fame and Kody alone – and she’s gotten it.” Even if there is some truth to those statements, Kody is equally responsible for his failed relationships.
Sister Wives’ Star Janelle Brown Claps Back
On a recent episode of Sister Wives, Janelle claims that Kody and Robyn still owe her money. Janelle officially split from Kody in 2022 and was the second wife to do so following Christine.
The two were married for nearly 30 years and in that time managed to rack up some debt that Janelle feels Kody should pay for.
Money is a point of argument in nearly all relationships, but navigating a divorce with multiple wives has to be extremely complicated. Depending on the state, assets and debts are usually split equally between partners.
The current argument primarily stems from ownership of Kody’s house, which he lives in with Robyn. The couple recently put the home up for sale, but Janelle and the other wives feel like they are entitled to a portion of the sale.
Each of the women contributed to the purchase of the house, but only Kody and Robyn’s name is on the deed. Robyn commented on the dispute in a recent episode and said it would be difficult to figure out who is owed what.
Things appear to be escalating as Janelle is now threatening to pursue legal action and take Kody to court. How that will pan out isn’t clear, but it appears that this couple’s saga is far from over.
