Is Cher’s relationship with Alexander Edwards a sham?
That’s what some of her family members are apparently worried about.
The Daily Mail recently touched base with some of Cher’s family to talk about her relationship with Alexander.
Red Flags In Cher And Alexander Edwards’ Relationship
And let’s just say that they’re seeing red flags everywhere.
The first red flag is pretty obvious.
Alexander is only 38 years old, while Cher is 78.

Now, while age might just be a number to some people, in a high-profile relationship, it tends to matter a little more.
Older men get a lot of attention when they date a woman who is way younger than them.
That attention can be both negative and positive, but for the most part, people eventually move on from it.
Cher and Alexander, however, have been making headlines all the time.
It’s a big deal pretty much every time they’re seen together.
It’s almost like the media can’t believe that an older woman is capable of snagging someone younger.
Or they think that she should somehow be ashamed of it.
In many cases, a 40-year age gap could be a cause for concern.

How Did Cher And Alexander Edwards Meet?
If Cher had known Alexander when he was younger, then there might be some concerns about grooming.
She didn’t, though, and they met each other through innocent means.
There wasn’t some nefarious force pushing them together.
They met, connected, and they have been enjoying each other’s company since.
Cher’s Son Chaz Has Issues With Mother’s Relationship With Alexander
Still, Cher’s family is a little grossed out by the age gap.
There is one particular aspect that is a little icky when it comes to the age gap.
Cher’s son, Chaz, is 55 years old.
So, she’s technically dating someone who is younger than her son.
He’s allegedly the one who has some problems with the relationship, and considering that Alexander is younger than him, those problems may be a little valid.
It’s a little strange, at the very least.
Cher Admits Age Difference Causes Problems In Relationship
Even Cher said that the age difference sometimes causes problems with communication.
She explained on The Howard Stern Show that there will be times when she’s talking about a person, and he has no idea who she’s talking about.
He simply wasn’t alive during that time, so he couldn’t really know who that person was.
So, she’ll be talking about some person and making all these references, and it will just go completely over his head.
That’s a little bit of a red flag right there.
When you don’t have the same references because you were both born several decades apart, then that can be a problem.
It makes it harder to bond over certain things.
While there are always new things to bond over, I imagine that there are moments when Cher wants to reminisce about the past.
But she can’t really do that with Alexander because he never lived through that time.
He can’t really contribute to the conversation.
Cher Speaks Out About Her Skills In The Bedroom
Now, while conversation may be hard between them, something else is likely what’s keeping them together, and Cher essentially alluded to it during her interview.
When Howard asked if men expected a great time when being intimate with Cher, she said yes, they did, and it was because it was true.
She said that she considered herself very skilled when it came to bedroom activities, and she added that the proof was on their faces.
Cher also shared that there were very few men who left her because she was just that good.
The Actor Who Broke Up With Cher
One who did manage to leave her was Val Kilmer, who she dated for two years.
Interestingly, Val was 14 years younger than Cher when they dated.
So, it seems like Cher may enjoy being the older one in the relationship.
Despite being madly in love with Val, the couple called it quits after Val broke up with her.
Most of her other boyfriends and husbands, however, didn’t.
Why Did Cher Break Up With Tom Cruise?
She was the one who broke up with them.
She broke up with Tom Cruise, for example, who she also dated for a short time.
He was 16 years younger than her.
So it seems like Cher has a type.
That begs the question–what’s the problem with her dating Alexander if she has a history of dating younger men?
What’s really going on here?
Well, it’s probably not just the age difference that’s making the family unhappy.
It’s also the money.
Will Cher Release Another Album?
Cher is getting closer to retirement.
Her last original album was released back in 2013, and according to The Sun, Cher said that her next album was very likely going to be her last.
She was at London’s Lyceum Theatre when she made the announcement.
At the time, she was promoting her memoir, but when asked about future music, she basically said that she was getting too old to keep making music.
She even called herself older than dirt.
So, she felt that this next album that she was working on was going to be the last.
Cher hasn’t been sad about putting an end to her music career, though.
She claimed that the album had a lot of great songs, and she was really excited to be making it.
Will Cher And Alexander Edwards Make An Album Together?
That’s bittersweet news for Cher fans, but how does this link back to Alexander?
Well, she and Alexander are working on an album together.
Originally, Alexander was just going to make an album, but then Cher decided that she wanted to collaborate with him on it.
The problem here is that she gave him full creative control over it, and that means that Alexander can get a lot of financial rights to the album.
The family is worried that if this is Cher’s last album, then Alexander is going to get most of the money.
They want that money to go to Cher.
Is Alexander Edwards Using Cher?
I’ll admit there’s a little bit of a red flag here because it feels like there might be some exploitation happening.
Alexander isn’t as big as Cher, although he has been making music for a while.
Tying himself to Cher, however, means that his music is going to fly off the shelves.
He could be using her as a platform that he can jump off of and really make his career soar.
Cher’s family doesn’t want her to be used that way, and that’s fair.
They also likely just want to make sure that most of that money is going to go to her estate, too.
Because that means that they’re going to get more money to split between them.
Considering this might be Cher’s last album, they fully expect it to sell really well, too.
If Alexander is getting most of that money, then they’re really missing out.
Cher has also assured her family in the past that Alexander isn’t using her for fame or money.
Yet, this album collaboration sort of looks like that.
It’d be one thing if he was just making an album with her, but it’s sort of questionable that she’s also giving him full creative control and financial benefits from it.
Cher’s Son Feels She’ll Add Alexander To Her Will
There’s another red flag that her family is seeing, too.
Chaz, especially, seems to believe that his mom intends to add Alexander to her will.
She hasn’t gone through with that plan yet, but allegedly, it’s something that she’s seriously thinking about.
Now, this might be a red flag in the sense that it could definitely be a strategy that Alexander is using to get easy money.
If he’s the one pushing her to get him on her will, then that’s not okay.
Cher isn’t telling whether Alexander has asked to be in the will or not, though.
Chaz definitely doesn’t want that to happen because that means that there’s a chance that most of her money will go to her latest boyfriend rather than her family.
Now, I think Cher might have enough money to go around.
Chaz is still going to get plenty of money once his mom passes away, so he may need to relax a little bit with all this will stuff.
Did Alexander Edwards Cheat On Cher?
The thing that everyone should be looking at when it comes to Alexander is his history of infidelity.
Alexander was with Amber Rose before Cher.
He even shares a son with her.
However, after being together for three years, Amber announced that they had broken up in a depressing post.
She posted a long and angry rant on social media about how Alexander had cheated on her.
She basically wrote that she was tired of being cheated on and being embarrassed behind the scenes.
So, it sounded like Alexander had allegedly cheated on her quite a few times.
Cher has already been through this sort of heartbreak.
Her ex-husband, Sonny Bono, was a notorious womanizer.
So, if there’s any serious red flag in this relationship, it’s the fact that he has a history of cheating.
