Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, has been through some serious highs and lows in her life.

But right now, she appears to be on a major high.

The baby will be Snoop Dogg’s 8th grandchild in total.

Cori shared her excitement in an exclusive interview with E! News.

She revealed that the father of her baby is her longtime partner, Wayne Deuce, who she got engaged to in 2022.

They found out that they were expecting toward the end of October 2024.

But were the young couple planning to have a child before they got married?

Cori confessed that the baby was a happy surprise. 

She said: “This baby is so unplanned, but we are [so] blessed.“

She and Wayne are expecting a little girl, much to the disappointment of Cori’s father.

She admitted that Snoop Dogg was hoping for a grandson.

However, both her parents were apparently really excited that ‘their baby girl is having a baby.’

Cori Broadus’ Health Issues

In her life, Cori has had a lot of health problems due to the illness she’s had since she was a child. 

When she was just 6 years old, she was diagnosed with Lupus. 

Since then, she’s been in and out of the hospital for a number of issues related to the lifelong disease. 

But the 25-year-old told E! that she was feeling well at the time of the interview, in December 2024.

She explained that because of her condition, her pregnancy was high-risk, and her doctors were very concerned for her and the baby.

But she added: “God has his hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine.”

Cori Broadus And Fiance’ Wayne Excited About Parenthood

According to Cori, she and Wayne were over the moon about becoming parents. 

She said that she was just excited to love on her baby girl and make her feel like she was “the prettiest in the world.”

In a touching confession, Cori revealed that while growing up, she wasn’t the most confident person and she never felt like she fit in.

So, she wanted to implant all the beautiful things in her daughter’s head at a young age. 

Cori shared that she was having a “mini me,” and her fiance told her that he was excited to have someone that looked like her.

He knew that their child was going to be beautiful, and he reportedly just couldn’t wait to build things for her and give her all the love in the world.

A report by PEOPLE revealed that Cori shared her good news on Instagram, too, by posting a few pictures of her pregnant belly as well as a video she took at one of her sonogram appointments.

She captioned the content by writing: “Cats out the bag! I thank God everyday for this blessing.”

Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Cori Speaks Out About Wedding 

Before the pregnancy announcement, Snoop Dogg’s daughter was already getting some media attention thanks to her three-part special on E!.

The show is called Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori & Wayne’s Story, and it follows the couple’s journey as they prepare for their wedding.

It also looks at why they had to postpone it back in 2023.

In her interview with E!, Cori opened up about how stressful the wedding organization had been for her, and how it even affected her relationship with Wayne at one point.

She confessed that before they made the decision to postpone their nuptials, it had been one of the worst times of her life. 

She shared that there was a lot that people didn’t talk about.

There was a lot more going on than just saying “I do.”

Cori revealed that she and her fiance would have petty arguments over insignificant things.

These were things like the catering, the guest list, or what shoes Wayne and his groomsmen should wear.

According to her, the good thing about her reality TV show was that she was able to be open and show the good and the bad. 

An article by CNBC revealed that while he was on an episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, Snoop Dogg shared that he’d given his daughter a generous wedding gift of $1 million.

Though it came with the advice to spend 10% on the wedding and pocket the rest of it for future investments. 

While speaking to E!, Cori explained that her and Wayne’s show was about the things going on in their lives in between his proposal and the extravagant wedding that they were getting ready for.

Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Cori Suffers Stroke

Postponing their wedding reportedly ended up being a blessing in disguise because at the start of 2024, Cori had a severe stroke that kept her in the hospital for days.

In a report about Cori’s hospitalization, Page Six stated that because Lupus has the ability to affect so many organs, it can also increase the risk of a stroke.

On the day of her hospitalization, Cori posted a picture of herself in a hospital room on her social media.

In the caption, she confessed that she broke down crying when the doctors told her that she’d had a stroke. 

She wrote that she was only 24, and asked what she’d done in her past to deserve it.

When looking back at her health scare during her interview with E!, Cori shared that it was important to take care of ourselves. 

She went on to add that life is so short and anything can happen.

She said: “Sometimes, God sets things up to check you and to get you back where you need to be.”

Though she wouldn’t say that she was glad that it happened, she reportedly was grateful that it did because it helped her realize how beautiful life was, how loved she was, how strong her village was, and how blessed she was.

According to the Atlanta Black Star, Cori and Wayne’s docuseries came as a surprise to a lot of people. 

Did Cori Broadus And Wayne Deuce Break Up?

Because a couple months before the news about it came out, there’d been rumors circulating that the pair had broken up. 

In the summer of 2024, Cori and Wayne unfollowed each other on Instagram. 

Atlanta Black Star reported that they also got rid of any evidence of their relationship that they had on their pages.

Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante unfollowed Wayne, too, though he allegedly continued to still follow them.

Another sign that there was trouble in paradise came when Cori posted a video of herself on Instagram wearing a white bra with diamond jewelry as she tore a photo of her and Wayne kissing in half.

Cori Broadus’ Cryptic Message 

She also shared a cryptic message about her relationship status in the artwork she had for her song, Friends, which she released that summer.

The cover for the track was a collage of photographs of her and Wayne, only his face was blurred out in every single picture on it.

The lyrics of the song were about loving someone but also hating them, and Cori asked if they could just be friends.

One Instagram commentator wrote that they noticed that she’d stopped wearing her engagement ring a few months earlier, and they hoped that she was doing okay. 

The Atlanta Black Star article revealed that the last time Cori was seen on social media with her ring on was in a TikTok and Instagram video that she shared on June 5, 2024.

Did Wayne Deuce Cheat On Cori Broadus? 

Snoop Dogg’s daughter never did say much about what went down with her and her fiance, but there were theories out there that didn’t exactly paint him in a good light.

Some of her followers suggested that the alleged breakup could’ve been due to infidelity. 

One person on Instagram claimed that Wayne had turned out to be as faithful as Cori’s dad, referring to the many stories about Snoop Dogg cheating on his wife.

Is Wayne Using Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Cori For Clout?

Another theory about Wayne has existed pretty much since he and Cori first went public with their relationship.

According to a report by Blavity, some people have alleged that Wayne’s real intentions with Snoop Dogg’s daughter are self-motivated.

They made the accusation that Wayne was an opportunist, who was just using Cori for clout, so that he could get ahead in his career in the music industry.

The couple have not released any information about when the baby is due.
