Hannah Gosselin opened up about where she stands with her mom, Kate Gosselin, in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight.
In the interview, Hannah was asked if her mom had met her boyfriend, Lennon, yet. The 19-year-old told ET, “Well, yeah. She’s my mom. We talk about school, and we talk about life.”
She also talked about their recent estrangement. Kate and Hannah were estranged for years before reportedly repairing their relationship in 2022. Kate attended the high school graduation of both Hannah and Colin in June of 2023, but they had a falling out again after Hannah and Colin spoke out about their mom in VICE’s docu-series, the Dark Side of the 2000s.

She went on to talk about her relationship with Lennon. Hannah first met her boyfriend through mutual friends. After realizing they had a connection, they started dating in August 2022.
They celebrated their anniversary last year. According to Us Weekly, the young couple have even started a YouTube channel together called Lennon & Hannah.
In a recent interview, Hannah made it clear that despite being in a pretty public first relationship, she had no intention of letting anyone else’s opinions dictate her relationship. She said, “I mean, obviously everybody has an opinion, and I’m open to listening to everybody’s opinion.” However, she went on to add, “But at the end of the day, my choices are my choices.”
She described Lennon as being “very kind” and said, “He’s really big on being the best version of yourself you can be.” Hannah felt that this had a positive impact on her, adding, “I think he makes me a good version of myself. And he has big dreams, and I love him.”
Kate Made Sure the Kids Didn’t Spend Time Together
Hannah did not say in the interview how Lennon’s first meeting with Kate actually went, and it’s unknown what her mom thinks of the couple. But the rest of her family have been very open about their feelings regarding Lennon.
Her father, Jon, was also part of the ET interview and was very honest about his thoughts on his daughter’s boyfriend. He said of Lennon, “He’s alright,” and added that he thought that the two of them “have a lot in common”.
Hannah then chimed in to clarify, “He gets along with Lennon. Don’t pretend that you don’t.” She went on to reveal that Lennon and Jon talked all the time but admitted that this might be because she wasn’t very good at picking up the phone.

Hannah also mentioned that Lennon had been getting to know other members of her family, too. She said that her grandmother, Pamela Costello, had also given the couple her blessing.
Hannah said, “Oh, she actually likes Lennon. He sat, and he held the umbrella for her while it rained, and they talked. They get along.”
Hannah’s mother and father filed for divorce almost 15 years ago after the end of their TV show Jon & Kate Plus 8. At first, Kate had custody of all of their kids, but in 2018 their son Collin moved in with Jon, followed by Hannah the following year.
An inside source later told Us Weekly that Kate had “definitely spent a lot of time making sure the kids don’t spend time together.” They went on to add that Kate was “really upset Hannah chose to live with Jon.”
These days, Hannah and Lennon live in Pennsylvania, where she is reportedly majoring in business administration, and he is studying cybersecurity.
