Bam Margera was caught in an argument with his fiancée, Dannii Marie, late on March 7th, 2024, according to a report by TMZ. The couple were at a hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, when the argument broke out.
Bam had stepped out of the hotel and into an alley to take a smoke break. Dannii followed him, worried that he might be using the opportunity to use harder substances. When she confronted Bam, the two got into an argument.
A witness took a video of the argument, in which you can hear Bam and Dannii yelling at each other. Bam repeats himself a few times, saying that if Dannii really loved him, she’d be hugging him. Dannii insists that she loves him a few times during the argument.
When the news of the argument broke, Bam’s manager, Mike Quinn, quickly reassured fans that their relationship was going strong. It was an argument that came from a place of love.
The reason Dannii was concerned that Bam was using hard substances was because of his injury. Recently, Bam was skating and performed a stunt that left him with an injury. He ended up tearing both his ACL and MCL.
TMZ also reported on his injury. Earlier in March, Bam was out skating with some friends.
When he performed a move, his left leg ended up moving out of position, causing him to fall. He let out a loud scream, cursed, and was unable to move.
His friends watched helplessly while Dannii hurried over to help him. They eventually called the hospital, and Bam was taken away in an ambulance. Although he tore his ACL and MCL, he left the hospital with just a knee brace and some crutches.
An Injury Like Bam’s Could Give Him Access to Prescription Painkillers
Because of his injury, some fans worried that Bam might return to his use of hard substances. The skateboarder has a difficult history with them and only recently started getting help for his problem.
Pain medication is usually given during an injury, and fans worried that it would be a way for him to start using it again. Dannii must have thought the same since she followed Bam out to the alley outside the hotel to make sure he wasn’t doing anything wrong.
Mike told TMZ that Bam’s still sober and has been taking his voluntary urine tests to prove it. On the day of the argument, he’d also had a urine test, which proved he was still sober.
Mike also told TMZ that the argument ended shortly after it started positively, as such arguments usually did. He called the argument a misunderstanding between the couple.

US Weekly first reported about Bam’s engagement to Dannii. Bam proposed to Dannii back in October 2023.
He told US Weekly in December of the same year that they were a good team. She gave him structure when he didn’t have much of it. He’d just look around and end up doing the things that weren’t good for him.
Dannii got him involved with a gym and fitness, which has allowed him to return to skateboarding. The couple remain together despite the loud argument heard in Nashville.
