Jeremy and Audrey Roloff are expecting their fourth child, and they recently revealed an exciting update. In January, the couple posted a video on Instagram announcing that baby number four is a little girl, bringing their family total to two daughters and two sons.
According to Parade, Audrey previously shared a video on her Instagram of each family member predicting the baby’s gender. She, Ember, and Radley thought the upcoming addition to their family would be a girl, while Jeremy and Bode guessed the baby would be a boy.
In Audrey and Jeremy’s gender reveal video, they each pulled a confetti popper as they stood behind their children. When Audrey saw the pink confetti, she screamed with happiness and jumped around, and Jeremy looked almost as excited. Meanwhile, Ember smiled when she realized she was going to have a little sister, but the boys didn’t appear to show much emotion.
Audrey’s Due Date Is in May
The couple first announced that they were expecting another child in an Instagram post last November. Ever since then, Audrey has continued to update her followers with even more details about baby number four.
At the beginning of March, Audrey used her Instagram Story to hold a Q&A session. Several screenshots of her answers were shared in a Reddit thread on the Little People, Big World forum.
In her responses, Audrey revealed that her due date is in May. She also mentioned that although there are a couple of names that she and Jeremy have liked for a while, they aren’t going to decide which one to use until after the baby is born.

Audrey admitted that she’s planning on delivering the baby at home, even though her little family is currently living with her parents. They’ve been staying there for about seven months because of their house renovations, which started two weeks before Audrey and Jeremy found out they were expecting again.
In another response, Audrey said that if everything goes according to plan, they could be moving back into their house at the end of March. She claimed that this pregnancy has been the most challenging one so far, due to the stressful renovations and taking care of three little kids.
The Baby Has a Chance of Having Dwarfism
Some of Audrey’s followers have also been wondering whether the baby could potentially be born with dwarfism. Even though she didn’t respond to that question recently, she broke down the odds during a Q&A session on her Instagram last year.
According to Monsters & Critics, Audrey explained that some types of dwarfism have dominant genes, while others have recessive genes. Amy and Zach Roloff were born with achondroplasia, which has a dominant gene and is the most common type of dwarfism.
Because neither Audrey nor Jeremy are carriers of the gene, the likelihood of their baby being born with achondroplasia is no different than any other average-height couple. If their baby were to be born with achondroplasia, or any other type of dominant-gene dwarfism, Audrey claimed it would be the result of “a random genetic mutation.”
When it comes to the possibility of the couple’s baby being born with a type of recessive-gene dwarfism, the odds are a little less clear. Matt Roloff has diastrophic dysplasia, which has a recessive gene and is a rarer form of dwarfism. If Jeremy and Audrey both carry the gene, their baby could potentially be born with diastrophic dysplasia.
But according to Audrey’s answer from last year, it sounds like only time will tell. She revealed that neither she nor Jeremy have ever done genetic testing to find out if they carry any of those recessive genes. For now, the couple is just anxiously awaiting their newest baby girl to arrive in May.
