Mykelti Brown has slammed rumors about her impending divorce. Rumors started swirling about the Sister Wives star’s relationship with husband Tony Padron a few weeks ago.
Fans had noticed that Tony had become less and less of a presence on Mykelti’s socials since last Valentine’s Day. Many of the fans were worried that something had happened that Mykelti didn’t want us to know.

However, she has since come out to make her relationship status very clear. Her message on Instagram cleared up any concerns about her 7-year marriage to Tony. She wrote in her Stories, “I’M STILL MARRIED PEOPLE!!!” alongside a photo of her and her partner enjoying lunch together.
The 27-year-old went on to defend her relationship from people gossipping about Tony’s absence from her recent posts. She wrote, “Stop assuming just because he’s not in EVERY. SINGLE. POST. that he’s not mine.”
Before Mykelti closed the case, fans were curious about the length of time she and Tony had gone without posting about each other. On Valentine’s Day, Tony shared an “anime” version of himself online, claiming that his wife thought the picture was “hot”. Mykelti shared a romantic tribute to Tony in which she called him her “forever valentine.”
Mykelti Recently Lost Her Half-Brother
The couple have been married since 2016, and welcomed their first child, a daughter, together five years later. They didn’t have to wait nearly as long for their next children, with twin sons arriving in November 2022.
It’s great to hear that the couple are still as in love as ever, especially after the recent tragedy that befell Mykelti’s family. InTouch reported that Mykelti was focusing on her kids as she processed her grief over losing her half-brother, Robert Garrison Brown. The former soldier passed away at his own hand earlier this month.

A week after his passing, Mykelti took to Instagram to share a photo of her with her daughter, Avalon. In the caption accompanying the picture, she wrote, “I appreciate the light and happiness this kid of mine brings to every day of my life.”
She went on to add, “What a blessing to have her around. To have her for comfort and for all the hugs.” It was clear how much Mykelti depended on her loved ones to get her through one of the darkest times imaginable.

The day before, she had posted a full tribute to Garrison. She wrote that her “heart breaks for my brother who’s no longer with us.” However, she added that she also “rejoices knowing he’s with his fellow warriors in Valhalla drinking and fighting with Odin.”
She went on to say that Garrison was “the funniest person in the room”, and mourned the fact that her kids would not get to enjoy his company. Despite her heartbreak, it’s a relief to all of her fans to know that Tony is still by her side, if not always in her Instagram Stories.
