The Nevada National Guard recently organized a memorial service for Garrison Brown.
Almost the entire Brown family attended the service.
They could all be seen in the photos shared on the Nevada National Guard’s Facebook page.
Garrison’s sister, Maddie, and Others, Were Absent From His Funeral
Based on the photos, Garrison’s sister Maddie wasn’t there.
She lives in North Carolina and has young kids, which may explain her absence.
But there were some other siblings missing from the photos.
Robyn’s children – Dayton, Aurora, Breanna, Solomon, and Ariella – were all nowhere to be seen.
This caused quite a stir online.
While many thought that Maddie had a good excuse for not being there, they also felt that the same could not be said for Robyn’s children.
Robyn and Kody, the kids’ parents, were both at the memorial service.
They even sat together in the front row.
But despite that, their children were seemingly not there.
TikTok User Shared Theory Why Robyn’s Kids Were Missing
TikTok user Kristy Ski shared her theory about why they were missing.
She claimed that the kids are kept under lock and key as much as possible.
They are seemingly only ever allowed out if Robyn and Kody are with them and if it’s in a controlled environment.
Something like a memorial service would not fit those criteria.
So, according to Kristy, it’s possible that the kids weren’t there because Kody and Robyn wouldn’t feel comfortable having them around the rest of the family.
Another theory that was shared on social media was that the older kids were left behind so that they could look after Solomon and Ariella.
Solomon is 12 years old, and Ariella is only 8.
Based on this theory, it’s possible that Dayton, Aurora, and Breanna stayed home to take care of them while Kody and Robyn went to the memorial service.
But there is another theory.
Some also believe that the kids might have been there.
This theory claims that the only thing we know for sure is that they weren’t in any of the photos.
But this doesn’t necessarily mean that they weren’t there.
It’s possible that they just weren’t photographed.
But all of these are just theories.
The reason for the kids’ absence has not yet been officially confirmed.
What Family Members Attended Garrison’s Memorial Service?
However, many of the other family members were able to attend the service.
They all appeared in the Facebook photos.
Garrison was a member of the Nevada National Guard, which is why they organized this memorial service for him.
Janelle and Kody both sat in the front row during the service.
But they didn’t sit next to each other.
Janelle sat next to her son Hunter.
Kody sat with Robyn a few chairs down.
Kody’s mom was also there.
As was Christine and her husband, David Woolley.
Meri was also sitting in the front row.
But she was in a different section of the audience.
She sat next to Kody and Christine’s daughter, Gwen.
Many of the attendees wore black.
But they also wore Hawaiian shirts and ties.
This was in honor of Garrison, who had his own clothing line, Bob’s Floral.
Soldiers Paid Respect to Staff Sgt. Robert Garrison Brown
The photos on Facebook also came with a lengthy caption, which said: “Soldiers from the 1st Squadron, 221st Cavalry, along with friends and family, gathered yesterday at the Clark County Armory to honor the memory of Staff Sgt. Robert Garrison Brown, who passed away on March 4th.”
The post then went on to talk more about Garrison and who he was as a person.
According to the post, he left behind his three cats, Catthew, Patches, and Ms. Buttons.
Other than his cats, Garrison also loved traveling, comedy, craftsmanship, and photography.
He had a great sense of humor and was always able to connect with others.
He was reportedly also pursuing a career in nursing.
The Nevada National Guard’s Facebook post ended with: “The entire Nevada National Guard community shares in the sorrow of losing Staff Sgt. Robert Garrison Brown. We recognize the profound impact of his absence on our fellow members and the 221st Cavalry family, who are deeply affected by the loss of their trusted companion.”
It’s clear that Garrison will be missed by those who knew him.
