Jason Aldean allegedly had a falling out with the two daughters he shares with his ex-wife, Jessica. Is the family feud over, or is the drama just getting worse?
Someone on a subreddit posted a link to Bravos and Cocktails when the feud rumors were just starting to cook. The link showed a gossip tip email with the subject line “Country stepmom.” This gossip tip alleged that “the daughter of a well-known Country star no longer follows her stepmom on social media,” and shockingly, “Within the last year, the stepmom has taken favor to the second daughter.”
The tipster also claimed, “Rumor has it stepmom doesn’t want dad to pay for college tuition even though they jet set across the world and continue to buy and build multi-million dollar homes,” and, “the oldest also realized how toxic” this stepmother allegedly is. One commenter was sure the gossip tip was “definitely the Aldeans!” They had seen a post from Brittany in June 2022 with a family picture, and Brittany wrote that it should be their “Christmas card,” which was a total shock because his oldest daughter, Keeley Williams, wasn’t in that photo.
The Celeb Wives of Nashville subreddit also took the Jason family feud rumor and ran with it. A question popped up under the “Brittany and the Beast” thread on the Celeb Wives forum. It was called “Jason Aldean daughters,” and the OP asked, “What happened???” because they’d noticed that “Britt and Jason” never posted about his daughters anymore, and “BA doesn’t follow her.”
Jason Allegedly Refused to Pay For Keeley’s Tuition
Two commenters immediately replied that “someone” on the forum who “knows the family” had already confirmed what was happening. The first person wrote that a fight broke out between Jason, Brittany, and Keeley, and allegedly, Keeley had “asked not to be part of their social media” posts going forward. The next person commented that the fight happened because Jason “refused to pay for [Keeley’s] college tuition and would only commit to half,” and that allegation really got the Celeb Wives fired up.
One person said it would be “awful” if it were true and that Keeley’s “entire college tuition would be a drop in the bucket” for Jason. While another commenter wrote, “Shame he can pay for his mistress/wife’s fillers and cosmetic work but not his daughter’s education.”
But it got worse. Another commenter called it “really disgusting if true” because the timing of this alleged feud between Jason and Keeley would have happened “right around the time that [Jason and Brittany] purchased their new house in Florida.”
The feud rumor also appeared on the Keeping Up With The Aldeans subreddit. One commenter thought Keeley was just distancing herself from her dad and stepmother, and “she doesn’t seem to have much to do with them anymore.”
Another commenter claimed that a “friend” of Keeley’s had spilled the tea on the subreddit. They wrote, “Just validating the tuition discussion,” and Jason’s “refusal to pay for the whole thing.” According to Keeley’s “friend,” Jason’s ex-wife, Jessica, had to “pay half,” and the commenter accused Brittany of making sure “the girls get the least amount of money” possible.
Jason and Keeley Appeared on Good Terms in May 2021

Keeley’s birthdate is listed as February 14, 2003. She played volleyball at Summit High School in Spring Hill, Tennessee, before she graduated in May 2021.
Remember this timeline: According to the Sun, Jason had “congratulated Keely” on Instagram following her graduation on May 22, 2021. He uploaded a photo of his eldest daughter and wrote, “Hard to believe this kid graduated from high school tonight.”

On Keeley’s 18th birthday in February 2021, Jason and Brittany posted loving comments and photos on social media about her. In March 2021, Keeley and her friends enjoyed spring break on the Caribbean island of St. Thomas with Jason and Brittany, and during Easter that year, Jason and Brittany posted family photos of everyone.
But in May, Brittany didn’t congratulate her stepdaughter on her high school graduation, and in July 2021, Keeley posted a very eye-opening “divorce trauma” video on TikTok. In September of that year, Keeley posted a TikTok video celebrating her mom, Jessica, while Brittany and Jason posted messages in October and November about taking his second daughter, Kendyl, to meet Lauren Alaina and to the MLB World Series.
By December 2021, Brittany posted a video for her son Memphis’s birthday. Keeley was not in that video. When Keely posted a Christmas video on TikTok that year, she was spending the holiday with her mom and their family.
As Keeley’s 19th birthday rolled around in February 2022, only one person close to Jason celebrated her on social media. The Sun reported that Keeley has thousands of followers on her private Instagram account. Her TikTok account has over 27,000 followers, and Keeley has racked up more than one million likes on her TikTok videos.
Kendyl was born on August 20, 2007. After Jason married Brittany in March 2015, Brittany had her son, Memphis, in December 2017 and her daughter, Navy, in February 2019. Now the question is… has Kendyl sided with Keeley, or does she still have a close relationship with her dad and stepmom?
A Redditor claimed there had been “a little Kendyl sighting tonight” a couple of years ago when Brittany posted a blurred shot of Kendyl in front of a Christmas tree. But the commenters on the subreddit weren’t having it.
One person wrote, in part, that “Kendyl is still underage,” and she has to visit Jason because he has joint custody until she turns 18. Their theory was that once Kendyl reaches adulthood, the visits with Jason and Brittany “might abruptly end just like they did with Keeley.”
Although Brittany and Jason haven’t acknowledged Keeley’s birthday in recent years, Country Now reported that the Aldeans pulled out all the stops for Kendyl’s last birthday in 2023, calling it an “exquisite sweet 16 celebration.” Of course, Brittany “recapped the party in an Instagram reel,” and Kendyl’s sweet 16 included a “braid bar,” a “permanent jewelry bar,” a customized photo booth and illustrations, and a personal chef.
Thankfully, Keeley and Kendyl appear to have a close bond, which shows on Keeley’s TikTok. In one sweet video containing a slide show of photos, Keely’s caption said, “POV: you watched your little sister grow up & now she’s the most beautiful person and my best friend.”
