On the back of the allegations against Diddy, country star Jelly Roll has shared his own experience with the music mogul.
The singer revealed last Friday on the Canceled With Tana Mongeau podcast that he had once swerved a meeting with Diddy.
Jelly and his wife Bunny were on the podcast to talk about his crazy ride to stardom in the last year or so.
Why Jelly Roll Did Not Want to Meet Diddy
Jelly shared a story about being scheduled to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! alongside Diddy, who he was supposed to meet backstage.
Jelly said, “This is the first time in my career, ever, where they said, ‘Do you want to meet such and such?’ And I said ‘Yeah’.”
He went on to say that he started walking in Diddy’s direction, before doing a total u-turn.
He explained, “And as I was getting down the hallway – this is a true story – I said, ‘Nah,’ and went and got back in the car.”
Jelly admitted that he didn’t “know what it was” that made him change his mind about meeting Diddy.

He even confessed that he made a pretty dark joke at the time about not wanting to “meet the guy” who allegedly was responsible for Tupac’s passing.
However, he added that “nobody thought that was funny.”
And he concluded, “Very seldom do things rub me in a way where I was like, ‘I don’t even know if that’s a picture I want.’”
And said of Diddy that he “didn’t even know who this human is.”
Before he told his story, Jelly voiced his concern that he might “get in trouble” for what he was going to say about Diddy.
He also emphasized that he was not just telling the story to jump on the back of a “hot topic.”
However, there’s no doubt that the alleged investigation against 54-year-old Diddy is one of the biggest stories out there right now.
Several celebs have come forward to share anecdotes about their interactions with Diddy.
After the recent raids on his mansions and being named in the new alleged SA case against his son, Diddy was pictured sitting with his mother in his Miami home.
Jelly Roll and His Wife’s, Bunnie, Flight Scare
A few days after his podcast interview, Jelly made the headlines again after he and Bunny endured a flight scare over the weekend.
CNN reported that the singer and his wife were on their way to the CMT Music Awards on Sunday when their private jet was forced to make an emergency landing.
This was reportedly due to the plane experiencing technical difficulties mid-flight.
Bunnie later shared a video on social media showing the pilot explaining the situation to the famous passengers.
In the video, Jelly can be heard joking, “At least it wasn’t the brakes!”
Just like when he avoided meeting Diddy, Jelly was quick to see the funny side of a potentially dangerous near miss.
