2024 will mark the 10th anniversary of rapper Ludacris and his glamorous wife, Eudoxie Bridges. But in those 10 years, how much have we actually learned about the rap icon’s partner? Here’s what we know about Eudoxie and her relationship.
Eudoxie was born and raised in Gabon West Africa. In 2016, she released a book called Unspoken Angel: My Story Through Her Eyes. In the book, she said she moved to the States as a teenager with almost no English.

She stated that she only knew three words in the language when she arrived. Eventually, she adapted to the huge change. The rest of her family started in Gabon, including her “eight” siblings, whom she stays in regular contact with.
In 2021, Ludacris told Distractify about staying in touch with Eudoxie’s family through lockdown. He said, “At the current moment, we’re packing up stuff to send back to her family at home – like boxes of clothes and baby stuff.”
He added, “And we’re sending stuff in a container over the water and shipping it to Africa.” Ludacris said, “I think that our love for giving back and our love for charity and our love for a growing family and continuing to raise strong children is what’s so strong about the unit.”
According to People magazine, Ludacris and Eudoxie were first brought together thanks to their shared passion for helping others. They met in 2008 at LudaDay, an annual charity event created by the crunk pioneer in 2005. The fundraising event is dedicated to the community of Atlanta by helping support social service and responsibility.
Ludacris and Eudoxie Were Married Hours After Getting Engaged
They began dating shortly after their first encounter but waited several years before finally getting engaged in 2014. On December 26, Ludacris shared pictures of Eudoxie after his proposal. In the caption, he wrote, “She didn’t say yes. She said HELL YES!”
However, the wait between their engagement and their wedding was a lot shorter. It was reportedly just a matter of hours.
Just weeks after popping the question, Ludacris announced on social media that the couple had tied the knot over the holidays rather than waiting until the new year. The rapper actually revealed that they had gotten married the very same day that he proposed to Eudoxie.

He took to Instagram to make his startling announcement, writing, “Why wait? Did the thing before 2015. #mrand mrsbridges.” Along with the caption, he shared a photo of him and Eudoxie snuggled up on a couch, Eudoxie still wearing her wedding dress. Eudoxie also shared the news on her own Instagram account with a series of pictures and a caption reading, “Great way to go into the new year!”
A rep later clarified to People, “We can confirm they got married privately over the holidays.” They continued, “Eudoxie wanted a simple ceremony and it was exactly what she dreamed.”
Since getting hitched the couple appear to have gone from strength to strength. They have welcomed two daughters, Cadence, born in 2015, and Chance, born in 2021. In addition, Ludacris has two older daughters from previous relationships, who seem to get along well with their stepmom.
Eudoxie Is Raising Her Younger Sister
As well as raising four daughters, Ludacris and Eudoxie have also taken responsibility for another young girl. In 2018, they announced that they were also raising Eudoxie’s youngest sister, Christella. In an Instagram post that year, Eudoxie talked about ensuring that her sister felt comfortable in her own skin.
She wrote, “My husband and I are raising my beautiful youngest sister in a house full of light skin. Every day I remind her of how beautiful, strong, and smart she is.” Alongside the caption, she posted a picture of an Essence magazine cover featuring actresses from the Black Panther movie.
Eudoxie and Chirstella are clearly very close, appearing regularly in pictures together. In 2020, Christella even gave a shout-out to Eudoxie on Mother’s Day, posting several pictures of the two together along with several other family members.

On top of running a house full of young girls, Eudoxie has also made sure to focus on her own personal growth. After getting her master’s degree in global management from Nova Southeastern University, she founded the nonprofit Unspoken Angels in 2013. The organization aims to inspire and help young women who have experienced abuse.
In an interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in 2016, Eudoxie opened up about her own past experiences and how they motivated her to do what she could to help others. She also talked about the encouragement she received from her husband when she started her venture.
She said, “When I shared my story with him, he encouraged me to share my story and made me understand how many women and young girls would benefit from it.” Philanthropy first drew the couple to each other back in 2008, and it looks like it remains a huge part of their shared lives.
