Amber Portwood from Teen Mom has a new boyfriend, and things are getting serious between the two of them. Us Weekly spoke to someone close to Amber, and the source revealed details about her new man.
His name is Gary; he is in his late 30s. Amber will turn 34 this May, which means she and Gary are of a similar age.
Unlike Amber, Gary doesn’t have any children of his own. But according to the Us Weekly insider, he is very family-oriented, as he takes care of his parents.
Amber and Gary have reportedly been dating for about four months now. They met on a dating app. At this stage, they are still trying to get to know each other, but according to the source, things are getting serious.

Gary lives in Amber’s hometown – Indianapolis, Indiana.
The source told Us Weekly that he is different from Amber’s exes. This is mostly because he’s never seen Teen Mom. The insider said: “All the guys Amber has dated before she met on social media and were fans of the show.”
Gary isn’t like that. According to the source, he has never seen the show, which is why Amber reportedly feels that she can finally date in the way she’s always wanted to.
Amber herself has not yet talked about Gary on her social media.
Amber Welcomed Her First Child in 2008

Gary gained full custody of their daughter in 2011. He later married his current wife, Kristina Anderson, in 2015. The two also welcomed their daughter, Emilee Grace, that same year.
These days, Amber and Gary are amicably co-parenting Leah, according to an Us Weekly source.
Amber Will Never Stop Fighting for Her Children
From 2014 to 2017, Amber dated Matt Baier, whom she met on social media. The two of them even got engaged. However, they broke up after three years together.
Soon after, People confirmed that Matt married his current wife, Jennifer Conlon, in Las Vegas.
Amber welcomed her second child in May 2018. She had her son James with her ex, Andrew Glennon. At the time, Amber told Us Weekly that Andrew was an amazing man who loved taking care of James. She said that it was almost perfect.

In 2022, Andrew was granted full custody of their son James. Amber was devastated when she found out about the ruling. She told Us Weekly: “I’ll never stop fighting for my children, who I love more than anything.”
These days, Andrew and James live in California, while Amber lives in Indiana, where her new boyfriend, Gary, also lives.
