The tight-lipped inner circle around Sean “Diddy” Combs might be starting to crack, as multiple media outlets reported late this week that one of Diddy’s former backup dancers is now exposing him. On Thursday, March 28th, People.com reported that Tanika Ray — Diddy’s former backup dancer — allegedly learned to avoid him “at all costs.”
52-year-old Tanika is also a former host on TV’s Extra. She exposed details on Instagram about her allegedly “horrific” experiences working for Diddy, who is currently 54 years old.

Tanika posted on Instagram this past Wednesday. She also referred to a TikTok clip of a news segment in which the journalist Touré made a shocking accusation against Diddy.
Touré said he “knew” Diddy well enough to call him ten years ago and ask a favor. Touré had a young male relative who needed work experience, and he asked Diddy if he could use an intern. Diddy said yes.
But Touré claims that Diddy fired his relative after just a few months on the job, and the reason was insane. Touré alleges that Diddy ordered his young relative to “spend the night,” and when the young man refused, Diddy sent him packing.
Tanika May Never Tell the Whole Truth
Tanika didn’t even expose the whole truth in her shocking Instagram video. She revealed about Diddy, “Seriously, we all have stories,” and she claimed hers was “horrific,” and “only five people know about it.”
This sounds crazy, but Tanika claims she “probably will never tell” the real truth about everything that happened. She also gave an excuse for keeping some of these details locked tight.
Tanika said she was “intimately aware” that when someone like her tells the truth, they’re “victimized over and over and over.” Tanika also reminded everyone of a twisted detail when she said she had to interview Diddy “many times” as a TV host.

She probably has even more crazy stories about Diddy than most people because, as Tanika explained on social media, she’s “been in Hollywood for 25 years, maybe longer.” Tanika suggested, “Maybe I’ll write a book one day.” But Tanika didn’t sound too sure about writing a book because she thinks it’s “just so traumatizing.”
She also referred to anyone who might doubt her or those who have asked, “Why didn’t you say anything then?” Tanika explained, “Women just want to live every day and feel safe.” Every time she revisits the “horrific” things that allegedly happened to her, Tanika feels that keeps her “in a state of victimhood, and nobody wants to live there.”
Tanika’s Instagram caption read, “Women hold a lot in order to function every day in a man’s world.” She also wrote, “Unfortch,” as in “unfortunately,” women block out the pain “and carry on.”
Tanika Isn’t Surprised By Anything Happening With Diddy
She even suggested that women use a trauma “experience as a lesson and move differently,” and Tanika claimed that if she’d exposed Diddy back in 1996, “then What???” Sadly, Tanika seems to believe she would have suffered more if she had told the real truth back then.
That’s why Tanika avoided Diddy “at all costs.” She admitted, “Yes, I danced for him and kept my space.” Then she got specific and said, “I was on the ‘Vote or Die’ airplane and kept my space.”
“I interviewed him for his projects and kept my space.” Then Tanika confessed, “Nothing that is happening [with Diddy] is surprising” to her.

Tanika offered valuable advice to women in the entertainment industry when she suggested that they “keep space to heal” and that moving on is “key.” She thinks that “healing” should be a “priority” in “this wide world with a ‘broke azz’ system.”
Then Tanika addressed the men. She said, “Shame on all those men that let this continue.” She thinks anyone who wants to shame her for prioritizing her mental health should know that her soul is intact “after working in a place that snatches souls.”
Finally, Tanika gave a huge shoutout to Diddy’s ex, saying, “I think Cassie got it!!” Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura is Diddy’s ex. People reported that Cassie filed a “bombshell lawsuit” against Diddy in November 2023, and Cassie’s accusations are bone-chilling.
She alleges that Diddy physically harmed her and “trafficked” her for ten excruciating years. Her lawsuit contains many explicit and horrifying details that Tanika must be well aware of.
