Allegations Arise
In 2018, Jessica Reid told the outlet that she had been the victim of a serious crime at the hand of Charlemagne when she was just 15 years old. It was reported that the alleged incident took place in South Carolina in June 2001. At the age of 32, Jessica retold the disturbing story which Charlemagne has always strongly denied.
Jessica said that she first knew Charlemagne, AKA Lenard Larry McKelvey, when he was a 22 year old local DJ, after meeting through a mutual friend.
She claimed that he destroyed that trust and their friendship after taking her to a house party one night. She stated that she was given a drink that made her feel “dizzy.” Jessica claimed that later that night, Charlemagne assaulted her. She told Hollywood Life that she continued to have flashbacks to the attack for years.
In the time since, she and Charlemagne have presented very different accounts of what really happened that night.
She said that Charlemagne told his friends to take her upstairs, which they did, allegedly dragging her up to put her in the bathroom.
She then alleged that she was violated by Charlemagne’s friends, before being taken to the bedroom, where she was eventually joined by the DJ himself.
Her mother, Joselyn Sullivan, told Hollywood Life that it was her who contacted the authorities to get them over to her daughter. essica was taken to hospital and the police filed a report on Charlemagne after the house was examined by officers. A court warrant was issued charging Charlemagne with serious criminal offenses.
She also explained why she felt the need to speak out so many years later, saying that for her it was part of her healing process. She also wanted to fight against what she saw as Charlemagne’s assassination of her character.
Plea Deal
At the time, Charlemagne evaded serious punishment, pleading guilty to the relatively minor charge of Delinquency of a Minor. He was sentenced to three years of probation in 2002.
Jessica expressed her surprise that Charlemagne was even able to take a plea, saying that her mother had been in contact with the DA’s office to get to the bottom of the situation. During Charlemagne’s trial, Jessica didn’t actually testify against him. The reason for this was that her mother was worried about the trauma it might provoke in her if she had to relive what she allegedly went through.

Eminem’s mother Debbie Nelson has been diagnosed with lung cancer, and it looks like the disease is in its advanced stages. The announcement came via a source who contacted In Touch Weekly directly.
“There are not many options,” said the source, according to In Touch. “She is currently staying between the cancer center and with family members. She has a very limited amount of time.”
It looks like Eminem has also not visited his mother in St. Joseph, Missouri since the announcement of her “terminal” diagnosis.
Does Eminem Have a Bad Relationship With His Mother?
Eminem has written some damning things about his mother in his music, particularly in the songs “My Mom” and “Cleanin’ Out My Closet”. Debbie also wrote a scathing song in response to Eminem’s criticism of her as a parent titled “Dear Marshall (An Open Letter To EMINEM)”.

A History of Distrust
The source also went on to say that Eminem has “trust issues” with his family. It surely makes sense why. Back in 2005, the rapper faced a lawsuit from his aunt and uncle, who claimed he was trying to evict them from their own home. The suit was eventually tossed out by a judge.
However, Debbie successfully sued Eminem for defamation. She specifically sought damages over lyrics Eminem had written about her that insinuated that she did drugs when he was a child. She won $25,000 in that suit, though she only got about $1,600 after paying her legal fees. Debbie originally sought $11 million from her son.
In an interview with Village Voice back in 2008, Debbie said she was never “gonna give up on my kids” and that she believes there is hope for everybody. A rep for Irv told TMZ that the Murder Inc. founder had been struggling with diabetes for years.
They went on to say that his illness had caused him to have what they said was a “minor” stroke.
But what was most shocking about this story was that the rep stated that it actually happened over six months ago.
The news had been kept quiet for a long time to let Irv recover in privacy.
The rep revealed that since then, Irv has made some vital steps to improving his physical wellbeing.

Immediately after Irv shared these revelations, Ashanti came out with a very different story.
In conversation with Angie Martinez on her IRL podcast, she quickly shut down any talk of Irv ever being her boyfriend.
She repeatedly stated that that was never the case and said that Irv just flat-out lied about so many things.
She said that Irv had several girlfriends while separating from Debbie, but she was never one of them.

And then she made some huge claims of her own.
Ashanti recalled Irv reacting to the news about her and Nelly by attempting to block her career from progressing.
Allegedly, he actually told people not to record with her and stopped her from coming to the studio.
His accuser is a woman who said that she had dated Irv for two years.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, the unnamed woman claimed that she had met Irv through a mutual friend.
They allegedly first crossed paths at a poker tournament in the summer of 2020.
She went on to allege that Irv had quickly taken her on an exotic trip to Saint Martin.
But soon after they arrived, things allegedly got dark.
The woman claimed that after they got to the island, Irv threatened to send her home if she didn’t give him what he wanted.
She went on to say that she eventually complied, explaining that she did so due to his power and influence in the music world.
She allegedly continued to date Irv into January 2022.
Woman Who Irv Gotti Assaulted Led To Her Being In Psych Ward
At this time, the woman made another shocking accusation.
She claimed that Irv flew her out to see him in Miami, where they stayed at the Four Seasons hotel.
The woman alleged that Irv again assaulted her in an elevator.
She claimed that their relationship ended the following summer after Irv flew her out to Atlanta where he allegedly did the same in an Uber, according to the woman.
It was also claimed that Irv had made a series of insulting comments about the woman on social media.
Her experience allegedly led to the woman being admitted for treatment in a psych ward, and she also claimed that she had become afraid to leave her home.
50 Cent Said Irv Gotti ‘Doesn’t Have The Funds’ To Deal With The Lawsuit
It’s not yet known how the lawsuit has played out.
But according to Irv’s longtime antagonist 50 Cent, the music mogul “doesn’t have the funds” to deal with the suit.
While Irv’s team have now confirmed that his health has improved, they did not respond to recent requests for comment on the accusations.
With everything that’s been going on with Irv lately, it looks unlikely that he’ll be making public appearances in the immediate future.
You might think that having The Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott, come over and carry out some renovation work on your house would be a good thing. Well, HGTV thought it was a good idea until they met a couple called the Kings.
Paul and Mindy King are a Las Vegas couple that participated in the reality show in 2019. For many reasons other than being thrilled by the TV show’s renovation, the couple filed a lawsuit in 2021.
The Kings didn’t file against the property brothers personally. It was filed against Cineflix, the show’s production company, and the local contractor they used for the renovation, Villa Construction. The Kings claimed they had given both companies plenty of time to correct issues and now had no option other than to take legal action.
The Kings, who contributed over $193,000 to the renovation of their home, alleged the work they received was sub-standard. They claimed the renovation was not up to code, citing exposed wiring, poorly hung doors and a badly installed backsplash.
The Other Side of the Story
Cineflix issued a statement. While they recognized that there had been issues, as the Kings described, what happened next differed from the story the Kings presented. Todd Christensen, president of Villa Construction backed up the production company’s version of events.
There had been issues, he confirmed, but only a few. A punch list, as he described it, of identified issues picked up on by the Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB). Although the list was started, it couldn’t be completed because the Kings denied the construction company access to the property. After several attempts, the NSBC closed the case file.
However, Mindy King made a complaint against Villa Construction with the Contractors Board, alleging they had left her property with 90 unresolved issues. The Board considered her claim, found 10 of the issues warranted action, and sent a Notice to Correct to Villa Construction. Once again, the contractor was denied access and the Board closed the case again.
The Scott brothers were never part of the lawsuit, although their lawyers did issue a statement suggesting the Kings were using negative publicity to secure a better settlement.
Broader Implications for Reality TV Home Renovations
Obviously, the lawsuit raises important questions about the responsibilities of reality shows and their accountability. In this case, homeowners are perhaps a little naïve to expect high-quality workmanship in a rapid TV-land turnaround. The lawsuit suggests that the result the viewer sees is better than what the homeowner actually gets.
This case also underscores the complexity of these projects. The tight scheduling means the involvement of multiple parties, with many onsite at once. It makes determining responsibility difficult and resolving issues challenging.
It’s September 2024, and the lawsuit is ongoing with a jury trial set for October. However, there could be a considerable shift in the case’s dynamics because the Kings are said to be considering adding Drew and Jonathan Scott to the lawsuit.
On September 16th, Whiskey Riff reported that Morgan Wallen is preparing to face the music – but we’re not talking about a newly scheduled concert date or another smash hit with Post Malone. Allegedly, Morgan believes he’ll face jail time for that insane chair-tossing incident this past April. Whiskey Riff quoted a source saying the “best scenario is a 30 to 60-day sentence.”
Whiskey Riff wrote, “Of course, everybody remembers” when the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department arrested Morgan. The arrest happened on April 7th, after Morgan allegedly tossed a chair from the rooftop of Chief’s bar on Broadway.
If you haven’t caught the arrest on video, it’s definitely shocking. Sources who allegedly witnessed what happened that night claim that Morgan had been drinking heavily.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that Morgan’s alleged drinking problem has got him in trouble with the law. However, it’s the first time Morgan could get stuck in a jail cell for it.
The real truth is that the chair had the potential to become a lethal weapon as it crashed onto Honky Tonk Highway, one of the busiest tourist areas in Music City. Did you know that chair landed barely a few feet from where two MNPD officers were stationed? Morgan must feel grateful that this stunt didn’t end someone’s life.
Morgan’s Legal Team Hopes for a Plea Deal
Whiskey Riff confirmed that Morgan’s charges included “three counts of assault with a deadly weapon” and reckless endangerment. Two of those counts were because of the officers who stood directly near where that chair landed. The third charge was for “danger to the public.”
Additionally, Morgan got slapped with a “disorderly conduct” charge. On April 8th, He was “ultimately released on a $12,500 bond.”
Morgan was allowed to continue with his One Night At A Time tour after his arrest. Whiskey Riff reported that Morgan is due back in a Nashville courtroom on December 12th after his August court date got “postponed.”
But according to Whiskey Riff, it’s “unlikely” that Morgan’s court case will ever get sent to trial. A source with inside knowledge told another media outlet that prosecutors will probably offer Morgan a “plea deal.” That’s why he’s “expecting” jail time.
Whiskey Riff said they got the details from an article in Life & Style published on September 15th. An “inside source” is quoted in this article as stating that Morgan’s attorneys are still “trying to negotiate a plea deal” with “probation.”
Whoever this inside source is, they allegedly told Life & Style that a plea deal with nothing but probation is “not… likely to happen.” The source is even quoted as saying, “It’s looking bleak at this point” for Morgan.
Morgan Is Scared to Go to Prison
Life & Style referred to Morgan as country music’s “bad boy.” The outlet claimed that he’s “putting on a brave face as he tours the globe.” Still, their source alleged that Morgan is freaking out about “heading to prison” and having to do what they called “hard time!”
The Life & Style article put a dramatic spin on Morgan’s situation, claiming that their “insider” told them Morgan faces “up to six years in prison” if he’s convicted on all three counts of “felony reckless endangerment.”
Morgan’s legal team seems to be working overtime to make his life as comfortable as possible. Meanwhile, he is playing this waiting game before receiving a formal sentence.
According to Life & Style, Morgan’s lawyers “succeeded in moving his August 15th court hearing” to December 2024, and that’s why he continued touring. However, Morgan did manage to disappoint fans at least once during his concert tour in the summer of 2024.
Life & Style’s source alleged that Morgan is “rattled” by the idea of going to jail. However, he allegedly “sees the writing on the wall.” The source also thinks that Nashville prosecutors won’t let Morgan “skate away” without at least a short prison sentence because the public might suspect that Morgan got away with a dangerous stunt with “his celebrity status.”

WFLA News Channel 8 talked to a young woman named Samantha, who had flown in “just hours before from Ohio with her infant and fiancé.” Samantha said that the flight was “hectic” with a baby. Imagine her shock to arrive in Tampa and find out that Morgan had canceled his show.
Samantha had every reason to be furious, but the truth is, she sounded heartbroken when she got interviewed by WFLA. Samantha confessed that it felt “crazy” to go all that way and have Morgan cancel his show.
She added, “I wanted to puke. It’s so sad.”
Samantha’s cousin Christina was supposed to go to Morgan’s concert with her. Christina told WFLA she’d spent “months saving money for the tickets.”
Sadly, this was supposed to be her birthday celebration. Christina didn’t seem to buy Morgan’s excuse when she said, “If he really doesn’t feel well, that’s fine, but man, you can’t wait two hours before the concert to tell people.”
Jelly Roll Saved the Show
Morgan told fans about his canceled shows in Tampa and Charlotte in a last-minute post on X. He claimed that he hated to “reschedule shows,” but insisted that he was “sick” during his first show in Tampa and “woke up feeling way worse” on Friday.

Morgan also believed he wouldn’t give fans “anywhere near 100%” if he stuck to his concert schedule. Fox News reported that Morgan “informed fans” that his rescheduled tour dates are now October 4th in Tampa and October 18 and 19th in Charlotte, North Carolina.
However, shortly after Morgan posted his letdown message on social media, Jelly Roll stepped in to help Tampa concertgoers in the biggest way possible. Fox confirmed that Jelly Roll was one of Morgan’s opening acts on the concert tour. Jelly Roll jumped on social media and informed fans and followers that he was “working hard’ on an alternate show for the Friday night.
Jelly Roll posted the sweetest message on X. “Dear Tampa, I am working hard to put together something for y’all somewhere tonight – stay tuned.”
Fox reported that Jelly Roll later posted an unbelievable message to fans. He’d arranged a 7 p.m. show at the Dallas Bull Club in Tampa.
Jelly Roll wrote that anyone who had a ticket to Morgan’s canceled show could get into Jelly’s show at Dallas Bull “for free.” Jelly also had to admit that it was “FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE,” and not every fan was able to get into the much smaller venue.
Whiskey Riff has the last word about Morgan’s fate. They reported that Morgan’s attorneys might be able to “work out a deal by December,” and if so, Morgan might be pleading guilty the next time he appears in a courtroom.
Rapper and actor Tyrese Gibson found himself on the wrong side of the law when a Georgia judge held him in contempt in connection to child support backpay. The Fast and Furious actor was ordered to be jailed on Monday.
USA Today reported that the decision came during the third motion for contempt hearing by Gibson’s ex-wife, Samantha Lee. Not only did the incident catch the attention of legal and entertainment circles, but it sparked discussion about the complexities of celebrity obligations, family law, and issues parents face when dealing with the child support system.
Gibson Pays Child Support for Both of His Daughters
Gibson, 45, and his ex-wife Samantha Lee married in early 2017 and have a 5-year-old daughter. The couple got divorced in 2020.
Before Samantha, Tyrese married Norma Mitchell, but they divorced in 2009. He also has an older daughter with Norma.
Court papers show that Tyrese has been paying child support for both daughters, even before being legally mandated to do so. He was paying $10,000/month to his older daughter, so the judge ordered the same amount for his younger daughter.
As per Georgia law, there are stiff penalties for parents who fail to pay legally mandated child support. This may include jail time, revocation of business license, wage garnishment, denial or suspension of driver’s license, and the offsetting of state and federal income tax refunds.
Gibson Described the Experience as Traumatic
Gibson was ordered to pay $73,500 to Fulton County to be released. Initially, the actor said he was arrested, but there was no information about when he was taken into custody.
He addressed the arrest on his Instagram Stories, writing, “Getting arrested wasn’t fun as a matter of fact it was very traumatic… One would ask why does this judge Kevin M. Farmer HATE me so much?”
Later, he clarified that he was only detained for a couple of hours. However, he still described the experience to be extremely traumatic.
“I was detained, not arrested, for less than two hours and released immediately after the great work of my attorney, Tanya Mitchell Graham’s Notice of Intent to Appeal was filed into the Clerk’s Office minutes after the Judge’s ruling.”
Gibson Addressed the Broader Implications of His Case
The “Sweet Lady” singer has been quite vocal about his perspective on the whole situation. He didn’t hold back from questioning the judge’s motives and pointing out issues related to the family court system.
He expressed his heartfelt sympathy for parents dealing with the complexities involved in the family court system without enough financial resources. Gibson explained that it is extremely discouraging to see how present fathers often end up facing penalties instead of support. He identified Black and Brown communities to be the ones most affected by the whole legal system.
In Gibson’s case, his attorneys played it well and presented several arguments in his defense. He was released from custody after his attorney filed an appeal, and argued that though an arbitrator maintained his premarital agreement, they wrongly dismissed the part related to attorney fees.
Lee, his ex-wife, is still seeking $7,500. Fortunately, argument greatly helped the actor buy some time and saved him from paying back child support before being released.

The show has been off the air for about seven years now, but the household drama continues. Collin Gosselin recently spoke out in an interview and spilled the tea on his mom Kate.
Collin Gosselin, one of the sextuplets, recently alleged that Kate abused him when he was younger. In an interview with The Sun, Collin said Kate treated him differently than his siblings. Despite growing up with seven siblings, Collin described his life as “isolated and alone.”
Things were much worse than hurt feelings. He claimed that Kate zip-tied his hands and feet. Additionally, she had a special room in the basement that she would lock him in for long periods.
Collin has no known mental health problems, but Kate had him admitted to an inpatient psychiatric facility. According to The US Sun, Kate previously claimed Collin was “troubled” and violent, but medical evaluations do not back that up.
The saddest part of the interview is when Collin pulls out a drawing he made in crayon, begging for his dad to come save him from the mental health facility. It was a strange depiction that really showed how desperate he was to get out of that place.
Collin’s Father Supports His Allegations
Jon also backed up Collin’s statements by confirming that Kate abused Collin after the divorce. Unfortunately, he did not have custody of the children at the time, so there was little he could do.
It is not clear why Kate decided to treat Collin differently. He says that he was around eight years old when she really began treating him differently, going to the extent of keeping him locked in the basement with a camera on him.
Jon even confirmed with the new owners of the house that the basement room is still there. According to Jon, he spoke to the owners and they questioned him about the room having a lock on the outside. He says he had no idea about the room that Kate added until he got custody of his daughter Hannah.
Jon even said there were nine times that the abuse was reported, but no one ever followed up. He received a letter from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services that said the accusations of abuse were “unfounded.”
Even if Collin did have violent outbursts or was “troubled” Kate’s abuse is inexcusable. It is possible that Kate was manifesting her frustrations with Jon and taking them out on Collin.
Kate’s Lawyer Released a Statement
After the bombshell interview, People Magazine reported that Kate put out a statement via her lawyer. In it, the attorney declined to comment about the “isolation.” It went on to say that statements often get taken out of context, so she would simply not be responding.
The lawyer also said “The record speaks for itself,” which is a strange thing to say in this situation. Parenting eight children is certainly difficult, especially as a single parent. However, there is nothing a child can do that would justify Kate doing the things Collin claims.
Fortunately, he managed to get away from his mother’s drama and, now, lives with Jon. Collin was on a positive track but was discharged from the Marines when they discovered he was previously in a mental institution, according to People.
While Collin is trying to appeal his discharge, he blames his mom for putting him in this situation. Hopefully, Collin manages to get past the tragedies from his childhood, as it looks like he really wants to make a positive impact on the world.
