Did Ja Rule and Ashanti Ever Date?

People have questioned the truth behind Ashanti and Ja Rule’s relationship for decades.

A couple of years ago, the artists started speaking up about it at long last.

Ashanti Set The Record Straight 

During an Instagram Live chat with Fat Joe, Ashanti finally got the chance to set the record straight.

Her many hit songs in collaboration with Ja Rule led everyone to believe for a long time that they were secretly in a romantic relationship.

But we only really got an answer to this theory in 2020. 

When Fat Joe raised the topic with Ashanti, she was quick to shut down the rumors, insisting that she had never dated Ja Rule.

Ashanti Sees Ja Rule As A Brother 

She instead claimed that she actually saw him as a brother.

In a separate interview, she doubled down on her statement.

She said that from day one, it had never been that way between them.

She said that from the first time they met, she saw him as a brother – and he saw her as a sister.

Ashanti’s Theory 

So, why did so many people have a different idea? 

In his conversation with Ashanti, Fat Joe suggested that the sheer number of huge smash hits the pair released might’ve led people to believe they were dating.

However, Ashanti offered a different theory.

She talked about how amazing her onstage chemistry has always been with the rapper. 

Even when they went months without even seeing each other, it was no different between them. 

They could immediately jump back onstage and perform together. 

And it would look like they had been together the whole day.

They were apparently so in sync with each other that Ashanti claimed that they would sometimes turn up in what looked like coordinated outfits. 

Ashanti admitted to Fat Joe that she understood how crazy it was to have that kind of chemistry, especially with someone she was not in a relationship with.

However, she maintained that they never messed with each other, and that the idea was never a real thing. 

Ja Rule and Ashanti’s Music Relationship

And a few years ago, nearly two decades after they first took over the charts together, Ashanti spoke about working with Ja Rule again.

In 2019, she said that they would work on new music after doing some shows together. 

But as of now, the project is yet to see the light of day – even though this could be just what their label might need to reclaim their place at the summit of pop music. 

These days, the label that made both artists’ careers has all but disappeared.

But back when Ashanti and Ja Rule were releasing singles together, things were very different. 

Their success was a major part of the label becoming the number one force in the charts in the early 2000s. 

But the later decline would see relationships fail between the label and its artists, including Ashanti.

She has since gone on record in an interview in which she said that she was on good terms with the label again.

So, people thought that this could be the perfect time for two of the label’s most successful artists to release a joint project.

But another interview made it seem like this might not happen.

The drama all started when the co-founder of the label, Irv Gotti, went on the Drink Champs podcast. 

Ashanti and Irv Gotti’s Alleged Affair

And what he ended up talking about was unexpected. 

He claimed to have had a relationship with Ashanti 20 years ago.

What’s more, he was actually married to his first wife, Debbie Lorenzo, at the time of the alleged affair. 

And he went on to admit that Ashanti was also in a relationship at the time, with Nelly.

He even said that he and Ashanti were together every day that she wasn’t with Nelly.

Is Irv Gotti Salty?

And he claimed that he actually came up with Ashanti’s 2002 hit song Happy after they shared an intimate evening together. 

Irv went on to discuss what their relationship was like these days.

And he said that they didn’t see eye to eye anymore. 

He also made it very clear that he was still not over her leaving his label.

He explained that he believed that he was the one who essentially gave her her career. 

So, for her to then turn around and say that she didn’t want to do this anymore was something he just couldn’t respect.

Ashanti Shut Down Irv About Their Relationship 

Immediately after Irv shared these revelations, Ashanti came out with a very different story. 

In conversation with Angie Martinez on her IRL podcast, she quickly shut down any talk of Irv ever being her boyfriend.

She repeatedly stated that was never the case. 

And that he just flat out lied about so many things.

And while she maintained that she’s not in a place where she feels like she needs to play in the mud or expose anyone else, she still felt the need to defend herself.

She said that Irv had several girlfriends while separating from Debbie, but she was never one of them. 

She went on to say that Irv was salty when he found out about her dating Nelly. 

Did Irv Gotti Try To Block Ashanti’s Career?

And then she went on to make some HUGE claims of her own. 

She said that Irv reacted to the news about her and Nelly by attempting to block her career from progressing. 

And allegedly, he actually told people not to record with her and stopped her from coming to the studio.

If this was the case, it’s really no wonder that Ashanti wanted to leave his label.

Irv Gotti’s Bold Claims Caused Ruckus

Naturally, Irv’s claims on Drink Champs caused a big stir. 

But what really made them catch light in the hip hop world was the other guest on the podcast.

Because sitting right next to Irv the whole time was Ja Rule.

Which brought the reaction to a whole other level.

Throughout Irv’s conversation, Ja Rule stayed pretty quiet.

Ashanti and Others Felt Ja Rule Should Have Done More 

And he claimed not to have known that any of this was going on.

However, he did call Irv out at one point when he referred to Ashanti with a disrespectful expletive. 

Which is understandable, considering the close friendship he has with her.

But a lot of people felt that Ja Rule should have done a lot more. 

And one of those people was Ashanti herself.

On the IRL podcast, she told Angie that she spoke to Ja Rule afterward.

While she was grateful that he had defended her, she also told him that she felt he hadn’t defended her enough.

Fat Joe Called Out Irv and Ja Rule 

Someone else who thought so was Fat Joe. 

He took to Instagram Live to say that Irv had been disrespectful in his ranting about Ashanti.

And then he went on to say that whatever happened was done 20 years ago, and this just made Irv look like he wasn’t over her.

But Fat Joe didn’t just call out Irv. 

He also slammed Ja Rule for failing to defend Ashanti. 

Ja Rule has since responded by insisting that he did stick up for her. 

And later, he took to Instagram to make it clear that he did not condone what Irv did on the podcast.

And he hoped that people understood how uncomfortable it felt to be put in the position he was put in. 

Ja Rule Supports Ashanti and Her Relationship With Nelly

Despite everything that happened between them, things seem to be all good between Ja Rule and Ashanti these days. 

Since her secret marriage to Nelly hit the headlines, her famous collaborator has made it clear how he feels about her current relationship.

During an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, he was asked if Nelly and Ashanti’s reunion had surprised him. 

However, the rapper made it clear that this wasn’t the case.

He also revealed the close friendship between Ashanti and his own wife. 

He said that their conversations had given him a hint about what was going on between her and Nelly.

So it looks like Ashanti and Ja Rule are as close as ever, even if they are no longer taking the charts by storm together.

Eazy E’s Daughter Speaks Out

A few decades after his passing, Eazy E’s daughter created a documentary that took a closer look at his death and the circumstances surrounding it. For those unfamiliar, Eazy E was a member of N.W.A. He was one of the most influential artists in gangsta rap history.

He unfortunately passed away in 1995 at the age of 30. His death came one month after being diagnosed with AIDS. However, his daughter Ebie Wright, doesn’t believe his death was AIDS-related. Instead, she subscribes to the idea that foul play was involved and that he was actually killed.

The documentary she created, called “A Ruthless Scandal: No More Lies,” renewed interest in the conspiracy theory and sought to look at who was responsible for his death. While many of those around Eazy E participated, Wright said she wasn’t able to enlist the help of Ice Cube. In an interview, she stated that he was the only person that mattered to the story that she wasn’t able to speak to.

Ice Cube is a rapper and actor with a career that has spanned multiple decades. He was also a member of N.W.A. He was also one of the people closest to Eazy E during his life, though the two occasionally had troubles.

Wright has maintained a close relationship with Ice Cube’s sons. When she asked his sons to ask him if he’d be interested in participating, it seemed like he was ready and willing to do so. However, when it came to actually setting up an interview, Wright said he had started to dodge the interview.

Ebie Doesn’t Believe Suge Knight Was Involved in Her Father’s Death

While she believes foul play was involved in her father’s death, she dispels the rumor that Suge Knight was involved. Knight, who was the founder and CEO of Death Row Records, made headlines in the early 2000s for an interview he had on Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show.

In the interview, he took a slight jab at Eazy E when he said: “If you shoot somebody, you go to jail forever. You don’t want to go to jail forever. They have a new thing out. They have this stuff they called … they get blood from somebody with AIDS and they shoot you with it. That’s [a] slow death. The Eazy-E thing, you know what I mean?”

Despite never mentioning he was responsible, many people (including Eazy E’s own son) took this statement and began to think Knight was responsible for his death. However, this has never been proven.

In an interview, Wright was asked if she believed Suge Knight had any direct effect on her father’s death. She simply said “No.”

While many still believe Eazy E passed away due to AIDS, several others believe that foul play was involved. However, we’ll likely never know if this was the case.

The Truth About Mariah Carey’s Secret Sister

Mariah Carey was the youngest of three siblings born to her parents Alfred and Patricia. She’s obviously managed to make quite the name for herself over the years, thanks to her talent.

Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for her older sister Allison, who many people don’t even know exists. The fact that Mariah also treats her like she doesn’t exist makes matters even worse.

So, who is Allison? You’ll never believe the bizarre tale of Mariah Carey’s secret sister.

When Mariah’s parents first got together, the world wasn’t as open as it is today. Her dad, Alfred, is a black man. But her mom, Patricia, is a white woman.

Interracial marriages were something a lot of people looked down on in those days, and sadly, Mariah’s parent’s case wasn’t any different. No matter how hard they tried to make it work, the pressure on them ultimately ended their relationship – but not before ruining the lives of Mariah and her siblings, too.

Unlike her siblings, Mariah lived a more sheltered life. This was because she looked more white than mixed.

She wasn’t subjected to the same amount of hate that Allison and her older brother Morgan got. According to Mariah, she believes that her siblings secretly resented her for this, especially Allison.

Mariah and Allison Didn’t Really Grow Up Together

Mariah dived a little bit into the strange relationship she has with her siblings in her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, which was released in 2020. And she had a lot to say about Allison.

Allison was just 11 years old when her parents separated. Afterward, she was sent to live with her father, while Mariah was sent to their mother.

All their life, Alfred was always known to be a strict disciplinarian who didn’t bend the rules for anyone, including his children. Since Mariah spent a good portion of her childhood with her mother, she didn’t get to witness this all the time, as she was only three when Alfred and Patricia separated. But Allison got to see what it was really like to live with Alfred in a racist neighborhood.

Mariah said that she doesn’t know what Allison went through growing up. But whatever it is that happened to her changed her life forever.

When Allison turned 16, she left home. She was also pregnant by her sixteenth birthday.

Allison didn’t leave home because she wanted to. She left because it was strongly suggested that she get married to the father of her child. So, that was exactly what she did.

After getting married to the father of her child, Allison moved away. Not just to another neighborhood, but to a different country.

She moved to the Philippines because her husband was in the military and he was stationed there. Because of this, Allison never got to finish high school. This was where everything started going downhill for her.

Allison Came Back a Different Person

With everything that was going on with Allison, Mariah made a vow to herself. She promised herself that she wasn’t going to live a crazy life.

This is supposedly why she became a very prudish person. Even though she was just 8 years old, she knew well enough that she never wanted the kind of life Allison was living.

After moving away from her family and spending the rest of her teenage years in a strange country, Allison finally returned home. But her life as she knew it had changed forever by then.

According to Mariah, she never found out what happened to Allison while she was over in the Philippines. But when Allison returned home, it was clear to Mariah that she had changed.

Whatever remained of the fragile child that she was before she left Long Island was gone. Allison was now a completely different person.

She supposedly used to be a very sweet and nice person. But Allison had hardened so much over the years that she became a stranger to Mariah.

Sadly, she also couldn’t land a job and was forced to get money in other ways. According to Mariah, Allison started selling her body, as well as some illegal substances. She went on to do this for years.

Allison Put Mariah in Danger

Mariah also alleged that Allison tried to rope her into this life, too. When she was just 12 years old, Allison took her to some old man’s house. This was a man their mother had let her guard down around because he’d sometimes fill up their fridge with food.

Mariah alleged that Allison gave her something that made her unconscious. She didn’t say if anything happened that very day.

Even after this, Mariah still looked up to Allison. Allison was the person who took her to get her first bra and her eyebrows waxed.

No matter how hard they tried to fight for their relationship, Allison kept going back to a really dark place. This was what finally ruined the relationship between the two of them.

The final straw came when Allison allegedly tried to sell Mariah to her then-boyfriend John. Like before, Allison had allegedly slipped something into Mariah’s system and left her alone with John in his car.

With Allison nowhere in sight, John started acting inappropriately toward Mariah. There was no telling what he wanted to do to her.

The only reason he wasn’t able to do anything was because some stranger saw them and knew immediately that something wasn’t right. After this, John was forced to take Mariah home. This marked the last time Mariah gave Allison a chance at them being normal sisters.

Mariah Shared Everything in Her Memoir

In the years that followed, Mariah focused all her attention on her music and tried to ignore all the drama she grew up around. Allison, on the other hand, allegedly dived deep into more drama.

First, she divorced her first husband. She remarried five years later and had her second son. Barely a year after having her second baby, she tested positive for HIV and got a divorce from her second husband the year after.

While all of this was happening to Allison, Mariah released her debut album and her road to fame became clear. She became a hugely successful artist.

Eventually, she published her memoir where she shared all this. Allison didn’t like that.

With everything that was said about her in Mariah’s memoir, she sued her sister for $1.25 million. Not just for Mariah’s claims of Allison trying to sell her to someone, but also because Mariah alleged that Allison had once poured hot tea on her. The tea was so hot that it supposedly gave Mariah third-degree burns as the shirt she was wearing practically fused with her skin.

Allison denied ever doing this. According to her, everything Mariah said about her was false and Mariah had no evidence to back these claims up.

The Sisters Didn’t Get a Happy Ending

Allison claimed that Mariah’s memoir worsened her PTSD, which she had been struggling with because of all the trauma she went through growing up. According to her, instead of Mariah to help pick her up, she kept using her fame to turn the world against her.

Last we heard from Allison, she released a video informing the public of the latest struggle she was facing. She lost all her teeth and went into detail about how it was almost impossible for her to live a normal life with no teeth.

Even though Allison has come out a lot of times in the past to apologize to Mariah and ask for them to be civil again, so far, nothing has changed. It seems like Mariah is bent on keeping Allison as far away from her as possible.

Hannah Gosselin Exposes Kate

Hannah Gosselin recently had a few things to say about her mom Kate Gosselin, and it didn’t exactly paint her in a good light.

Not too long ago, Hannah, Jon, and Collin went on Vice TV’s documentary Dark Side of the 2000s to say their piece on their broken family. Before Hannah spoke, Collin explained that he barely had a relationship with his mom before she and Jon divorced. When the divorce happened, it only got worse.

According to Collin, Kate was going through a lot of things at the time. The divorce was only just one of the things that made it a difficult time for her.

It got to the point where it looked like Kate was starting to take out her anger on Collin. According to Collin, Kate picked him because he was just there and always managed to get in her way. It really seems like he was just unlucky there.

I mean, Kate has eight children, and at the time, she had all of them under the same roof. She could’ve picked anyone. Collin just drew the shortest straw among all the siblings.

But he wasn’t the only one claiming all this in the documentary. Hannah actually backed up most of what Collin said. If anything, she added a little bit of context that Collin left out.

Collin Was Separated From His Siblings

Apparently, Hannah felt like Kate went out of her way to separate Collin from the rest of his siblings. She said that Kate made sure that Collin wasn’t playing with the rest of his siblings when they went out to play.

This was honestly pretty shocking to hear. I mean, most parents try to make sure their twins or triplets do things together.

Now, imagine when the number gets as high as sextuplets with 3 boys and 3 girls. That’s pretty much the perfect recipe for bonding and playing outside. This is without adding in the twins, who are only four years older.

Hannah saying that Kate kept Collin away from his siblings really painted her mom in a bad light. But it only gets worse from there.

Hannah also said that Kate would sometimes give Collin food at a different time than when the rest of the children were eating. Now, playtime is one thing, but making them eat at separate times is just awful.

From the looks of things, it doesn’t seem like Kate was giving Collin food earlier than the rest of his siblings. If anything, it’s more likely he got his food much later compared to everyone else. I mean, even if you’re trying to discipline a child, separating them from the rest of their siblings is probably not the best way to go about it.

However, in the documentary, Collin admitted that he was not a perfect kid. Now and then, he would step out of line.

But does that excuse Kate’s behavior? After all, All kids misbehave sometimes.

Collin said that his punishments were definitely on the harsher side. It wasn’t like he was misbehaving any more than any of his other seven siblings. Hannah and Jon agreed with what Colin said.

Collin Was Forced into In-Patient Care

So, what was actually Kate’s problem? The thing is that she always used to claim that Collin had some psychiatric issues. Apparently, that’s why she treated him differently.

She wasn’t trying to hurt Collin or anything like that. Kate always claimed that he displayed “unpredictable and violent behavior.” She felt like Collin should receive psychiatric care.

At first, he was getting outpatient care. But after a while, Kate decided that this wasn’t working.

When Collin was only 12 years old, Kate shipped him off to a facility for in-patient treatment. The thing is that she never really said what Collin was diagnosed with, even though she claimed that he had multiple diagnoses. She was acting like she was doing everything she could to help Collin.

But Jon had a different story to tell. According to Jon, Collin wasn’t diagnosed with any psychiatric condition except ADHD, which is quite common, especially in children.

But it didn’t end there. Jon also said that after Kate enrolled Collin in the facility, it took a while before she even told him where Collin was, even though he’d repeatedly tried to talk to Kate about it.

After a while, Jon finally got the answer he needed and found Collin. Then, he started working on getting Collin out of the facility.

It wasn’t going to be an easy journey. Jon admitted that getting Collin out of the facility and the treatment he was on cost him about a million dollars. This obviously caused quite a shock among fans.

Mady Spoke Out Against Her Brother

Kate received a lot of hate after the documentary episode aired, but she wasn’t the only one. Some of the other siblings also received some negative attention.

Now usually, Kate is the only one who receives most of the hate and decides how to deal with or respond to comments. But this time, Mady Gosselin decided to speak up. What she said had people confused and asking entirely different questions.

Mady explained that, at first, she didn’t want to talk about Collin’s drama openly. Since she started receiving hate comments about what Collin said in the documentary, she decided that she was going to spill all the tea on her Instagram.

According to Mady, she doesn’t owe allegiance to someone who has, in her own words, “physically threatened [her] and every member of [her] immediate family.”

Then, Mady took things a step further. She said that she wasn’t going to allow anyone who has shown “hateful and even violent behavior towards others based on their racial identity, gender identity, or religious beliefs” to be a part of her life.

Then, Mady shared that with all that had gone on, she was not going to attempt to repair her relationship with Collin. Instead, all she wanted was for the hate messages to stop.

Kate Defended Her Daughter

This was obviously a lot to take in. But Kate also came out to back up what Mady said.

Kate told People Magazine that she never really wanted to go into detail about the mental health issues Collin was facing. But with how things were going, she felt the need to clear her name and set the record straight, just like Mady did.

Kate went on to explain how putting Collin in an in-patient facility for his mental health was what was recommended by emergency room doctors. This was after Collin had an outburst that apparently included a weapon.

Kate also said that she believes that Collin is a very troubled young man, even though she hasn’t been in his life for a while. Then, she finished by saying that what Mady said was true and that she would no longer like to speak on the matter.

With all that has been going on with the Gosselins, it doesn’t look like there’s going to be any rebuilding of relationships anytime soon. With all these different stories from both sides, it’s anyone’s guess what the actual truth is.

Ja Rule Speaks Out On Ashanti

The bond between Ja Rule and Ashanti runs deep to this day. 

Ja Rule Wasn’t Surprised When Ashanti And Nelly Got Back Together

Along with their mutual friend Fat Joe, Ja Rule opened up about how he felt about the big news about Ashanti reuniting with Nelly after so many years apart. 

During an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, he gave his take on the superstar pair starting up their romance again. 

And what he said was probably pretty unexpected for those who knew about Ja Rule and Ashanti’s history. 

He told Tamron that he wasn’t really surprised that the couple had gotten back together. 

Ja Rule Knew Ashanti Wanted Nelly Back

He went on to suggest that he just knew something was up from the way Ashanti and Ja Rule’s wife had been talking for a while. 

He said that he knew that he could tell that Ashanti wanted Nelly back, who he referred to as “that old thing.”

However, he made it clear that he wasn’t trying to make fun of them, and acknowledged the amazing chemistry the pair still obviously had when they were finally united again.

And Ja Rule should know, as he was actually there for the viral moment when Nelly walked up to Ashanti almost a decade after their split. 

When Fat Joe and Ja Rule faced off on the Comedy Central show Verzuz Battle, both Nelly and Ashanti were there, too. 

Nelly and Ashanti’s Renewed Relationship 

Nelly walked across the stage and gave Ashanti a hug in their first reunion since their breakup. 

After that, Nelly and Ashanti’s renewed relationship developed really fast. 

The following year, Ashanti confessed that they were in a much better place during an interview.

Soon after that, they were spotted out and about together on several different occasions.

And it wasn’t long before they went public with their relationship, saying that they had finally gotten back together.

Nelly talked about their relationship on Philo TV’s Boss Moves.

And he said that they were both actually surprised by the fact that they had become part of each other’s lives again.

They supposedly both agreed that going their separate ways all those years ago actually helped them understand each other more.

And although they have both grown older and wiser, it looks like they are having more fun than ever.

Ja Rule’s Verzuz Battle Upstaged By Ashanti And Nelly

Ja Rule explained to Tamron what he saw that fateful day when his Verzuz battle was upstaged by the happy couple. 

He said that he thought the two missed each other, and that “the way they clicked just came back so fast.”

It sounds like Ja Rule felt that it was like they had never even broken up at all. 

Ashanti’s Feelings For Nelly Resurfaced

Ashanti opened up recently about how surprising it was even for her to realize those feelings were still there when she saw Nelly again.

She said that after breaking up, her instinct was to try and shut the other person out to make it easier to close that chapter of her life. 

But after reuniting, Ashanti admitted that she had to be real with herself and confront whether or not she still had feelings for Nelly. 

And the truth, she realized, was that she did.

Fat Joe Is Happy for Nelly And Ashanti

For his part, Fat Joe was clearly delighted that the couple were back together, and even more delighted about it happening during his Verzuz Battle. 

He even joked online about being the one responsible for bringing them back to each other.

After rumors started swirling about Ashanti being pregnant, Fat Joe quipped, “I immediately tell them I need 10 percent of this kid.”

He went on to say that if it wasn’t for him bringing Nelly out during the show, they would not have connected again. 

He added that it was at the moment Nelly saw Ashanti across the stage behind Ja Rule that he said “I gotta have her.”

Did Fat Joe Know Ashanti Was Pregnant Beforehand? 

But although Fat Joe might consider himself the puppetmaster in the relationship of his two friends, there was certainly something going on that he didn’t know. 

After jokingly demanding ten percent after hearing the baby gossip, Fat Joe went on to say that it was “just a rumor” that Ashanti was pregnant. 

While Ashanti has had her fair share of rumors made up about her, the talk of her having a baby has turned out to be 100% legit. 

Recently, she shared a couple of photos on her Instagram, seemingly to celebrate her pregnancy.

The photos showed her lying on a beach in a gold bikini. 

In the caption, she wrote that the fact that she was about to become a mother was “the greatest feeling ever.”

Nelly and Ashanti had previously announced both that they were expecting and that they were engaged in April of this year.

Ashanti And Nelly Privately Tied The Knot 

But there was something else going on that no fans, or even Ja Rule or Fat Joe, knew about.

The couple had already taken the final step and tied the knot in private. 

Public records show that they got married on December 27, 2023.

Since then, they have been fooling everyone with a complicated ruse to keep us all guessing. 

How Did Nelly Propose To Ashanti?

In April, they announced that they were getting engaged.

Ashanti told Entertainment Tonight about the super casual way in which Nelly proposed to her. 

According to Ashanti, it was a really beautiful, intimate moment. 

They were not at all dressed-up.

Apparently, they were both lying in bed in their pajamas watching TV when Nelly popped the question.

The singer then shared her reaction.

She apparently cried.

Then, she gave Nelly a big hug and kiss.

And after that, she decided to FaceTime everyone to let them know that she was engaged.

She went on to say that she was overjoyed, surprised, and happy all at the same time.

He explained to HipHopDX that year that he needed to allow himself time to reset and to grieve properly.

In his time away, it seemed that he had decided that coming back to hip hop was what he wanted to do. 

He talked to Something About Rocks about his refreshed focus, saying that his soul was full again after time away, and that he was “happy, excited, and motivated.”

He went on to say that his upcoming album would be out in September or October. 

However, despite rediscovering his passion for the game, it took a lot longer for the album to see the light of day. 

The album, called Freak Show, was ultimately released just weeks ago.

However, fans online have not been kind to the project. 

One Reddit page devoted to hip hop trashed everything about the album from the songs to the questionable cover art. 

One commenter wrote on the thread, “Can’t believe this is the same guy who I used to listen to 24/7 back in 2013-15.”

G-Eazy’s New Identity 

The feeling that G-Eazy had changed his whole identity seemed to be a common complaint among fans online. 

One person suggested that the G-Eazy that fans had known and loved never made it out of the pandemic, and the new G-Eazy was more interested in singing than rapping. 

Others suggested that he had simply changed as a person over the years, possibly due to his tragic loss.

G-Eazy’s Turbulent Relationship With Halsey

However, another potential reason for his drop in popularity was his turbulent relationship with singer Halsey.

The tirade came after Bebe was asked if she would be interested in doing social media content with her old collaborator. 

Bebe suggested that after making their hit, the rapper had started treating her really badly.

However, after everything that came out about G-Eazy and Halsey, many fans were ready to accept that the rapper was once again at fault.

Ashanti might be on cloud nine right now, but a lot of her fans are seriously concerned. There has been a lot of talk about her rekindled relationship with Nelly and how the rapper might not be the best thing for her.

This was a big claim to make. It seemed to suggest that the two other women were just making up stories to support Monique’s official allegation.

Just a year before he got back together with Ashanti, he became the subject of ridicule after an intimate video of him was leaked online. What made things even worse was that he accidentally leaked it himself.

Specifically, Tasha K wondered why Nelly had shown no sign of intending to marry Ashanti any time soon. 

Tasha K even questioned why Ashanti felt like she had to keep herself in good shape, mentioning that she herself had a “big belly” and still managed to get married twice. She seemed to believe that Ashanti had made a mistake in starting a relationship again with the rapper.

After it became clear that the relationship was serious, Tasha K repeatedly urged Ashanti and Nelly to “make it official.” But Tasha K wasn’t the only one to call out Nelly for not putting a ring on it.

Nelly also got into an argument with a fan online. This fan decided to share their opinion on Nelly and Ashanti’s relationship while they’re expecting their first child together.

The fan stated that their family couldn’t be called the Haynes family, simply because the two of them weren’t married. Instead, they should include both Nelly and Ashanti’s last names and be known as the Haynes-Douglas family. 

The fan went on to say that they knew that others would be mad at their take. But they added that fans should actually be mad at Nelly for not marrying Ashanti and giving her his last name.

Tasha K, however, wasted no time in sharing another bombshell rumor about secrets Nelly might be hiding from his new wife. A day after the news of the couple’s marriage dropped, Tasha K claimed that Nelly actually had a secret son with another woman.

What’s more, the YouTuber alleged that Nelly actually cheated on his then-fiance Shantel Jackson with the mother of his secret child. Tasha K claimed that Nelly had an affair around 2019 or 2020 with a life coach named Shanna Bianca.

Insiders tell us via In Touch Weekly that “Brad and Ines have been trying, they’ve not been successful yet, but they’re not giving up and he’s made it clear to friends it’s not going to be a one-and-done situation.”

Brad Is Confident in His Decision

“Yes, his relationship with his kids is very sad for him right now,” the insider continued. “But he insists that this isn’t a reaction to that pain, that he had every intention of starting a family with Ines regardless of that.”

Brad Pitt was known as a loving parent to his six children with Angelina Jolie, before the infamous plane incident. The actor has always been outspoken on the pleasures and difficulties of fatherhood.

Although it would be a major decision, Brad and Ines are approaching adding another child with great thought and enthusiasm. The insider said: “People can speculate about his motives all they want, but the fact is Brad wants two, maybe even three kids, with Ines and he would do the adoption option again in a heartbeat if that’s something Ines wanted too.”

For Brad, Ines de Ramon has been a kind and encouraging partner who infuses stability and happiness into his life. Friends of the pair have observed her positive impact on him.

Brad and Ines are dedicated to making the best decision for them, even if the plans of growing their family are still just speculation. Given Brad’s age, surrogacy and adoption are reasonable choices they are looking at. The insider said, “He has no doubt Ines will make a wonderful mom, the plan is to have at least one baby very soon, and then work quickly to have at least one or even two right after that.”
