Harry and Meghan are facing criticism for looking at select schools in the luxurious California area of Montecito for their children Archie and Lilibet. This happens to be the area they live in, with one campus reportedly costing more than $40,000 per year. Each of the elite schools have large price tags, according to Yahoo!
The two are no stranger to the private school system. Prince Harry attended Ludgrove pre school and then Eton College. Markle attended Immaculate Heart High School, a private Catholic school in Los Angeles.
A Royal Commentator Criticizes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
The initial criticism came from Lee Cohen, a Royal commentator, who focused on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s “commitment to progressive causes.” He claimed that commitment is “nothing but a façade,” in the light of the recent decision.
His focus is on the way so many other parents are unable to afford the basic costs of living. Cohen wants to know how the parents can justify spending so much on their own children’s education with that in mind, especially considering their social causes.
According to the same Yahoo! article, he told GB News that, “It’s utterly infuriating to hear that Harry and Meghan, the self-proclaimed champions of equality and social justice, are even contemplating enrolling their children in an exclusive, outrageously expensive school. Yet they’re willing to pay staggering tens of thousands per year for their children’s education. How can they possibly justify this when so many families struggle to afford even the basic necessities?”
The Public Came to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Defense Online
Despite the Royal commentator’s criticism, many other people came to the defense of the two online. Education is important, and Harry and Meghan simply want the best for their children. That means the best education their money can buy.
People also noted that safety is an issue. With the Duke and Duchess in the public eye, that means the safety of their children is also at risk. The two will want to send their children to a school where safety is a top priority, and elite schools offer that benefit.
Other people have commented on how it’s the choice of the parents. If they have the money for a private education, why should they be criticized for that? It is setting up children in the best way possible for the future. Sadly, private school isn’t accessible for everyone.
Royals author Tom Quinn also came to the defense of the couple. He made it clear that safety would likely be a priority when choosing a school for their children. Quinn has always had the opinion that the two would put safety first, especially considering Markle’s life in Hollywood. This is not just something Prince Harry and Meghan will consider, but anyone in the Hollywood circle would consider. Amber Portwood recently got engaged to a man named Gary Wayt, but there’s one, small, problem.
He’s gone missing.
According to ABC 13 News, a local news station out of Bryson City, North Carolina, Gary was last seen on Sunday in Bryson City.
He was there with Amber to attend a family member’s wedding.
They also enjoyed the trip and spent time in the Smokey Mountains.
The hours before he went missing are still being questioned.
Amber Portwood and Gary Wayt’s Alleged Fight
According to one report, Gary and Amber had an emotional argument.
Amber ended up telling Gary to leave and never come back.
Gary then took the car and drove off from the hotel where they were staying.
When Amber returned home to Indiana, he wasn’t there.
The couple hasn’t spoken to each other in 60 hours.
Gary also left his phone behind, so Amber hasn’t been able to contact him using it.
Now, according to The Ashley, the fight that allegedly took place between Amber and Gary didn’t happen.
Amber Portwood’s Brother, Shawn, Speaks Out
Shawn Portwood, Amber’s brother, commented on The Ashley’s post on Twitter about Gary’s disappearance, saying that his sister and Gary did not fight before he disappeared.
He said that any report about an argument between them is false.
He claimed that it’s just people trying to make the story spicier.
Instead, Shawn said that these people should be focusing their attention on finding Gary.
Shawn isn’t the only one urging people to help find him, either.
Amber’s Ex, Gary Shirley, Offers Support and Prayers
Even Amber’s ex, Gary Shirley, is lending his support.
He commented on a missing alert placed on social media, saying that they needed to find Gary.
He also offered his prayers for a safe return.
So, while there has been plenty of support for Amber during this strange and scary event, there’s also a lot of confusion over what happened before Gary left Amber behind.
Did Amber Portwood Have Anything to Do With Gary’s Disappearance?
If the fight had happened, then Shawn could have been trying to help his sister look innocent in the eyes of the police.
If a crime occurred, it’s only natural that they’d look at Amber first since she was the last one with Gary.
Knowing that a fight happened before Gary left could make them question if Amber had anything to do with his disappearance.
Or, it simply could be that the two didn’t fight.
At this point, it’s all speculation.

The missing report also gave additional details about Gary.
Fans initially only knew Gary by his first name since Amber never said his last name on the show or social media.
Viewers now know that Gary’s last name is Wayt.
They also now know his age, which is 39.
Previously, fans only knew that Amber was dating a man in his 30s.
The police also know the exact place where Gary was last seen–Arlington Avenue in Bryson City, North Carolina.
The missing report described Gary as being 6’1, 205 pounds, bald, and having brown eyes.
They also have a description of his car, which is a gray 2009 Nissan Rogue.
The car also has Indiana plates.
According to US Weekly, Amber has been distraught over the whole thing.
One insider alleged that she is beside herself and worried about him.
The source said that Amber was worried because Gary should have been home by now if he was driving back to Indiana from Bryson City.
She’s also been relying on her friends to help her find him.
Amber put in an official missing persons report on Monday when Gary failed to show up at home.

Gary hasn’t spoken to her or his family since he went missing.
To make this story even worse, Amber and Gary had only just gotten engaged.
He had proposed to her two weeks ago and even used an old family stone as the setting for the engagement ring.

Fans Worried About Gary
Of the little that fans knew about Gary previously, they learned that he didn’t have kids of his own.
Amber has two children, with Leah being one of the most well-known, since she has been on Teen Mom shows before, too.
Despite not having children, Gary is allegedly very family-oriented since he looks after his parents.
Fans only recently met Gary, too, as Amber introduced him to the rest of the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter cast.
During that meeting, Amber introduced Gary as her boyfriend and said that they were an official couple now.
Now, while some fans have expressed worries over Gary and are hoping he’s alright, there are others who are making light of the situation.
Some of the fans who commented on the police department’s Facebook post have made jokes about how Gary has ghosted Amber, how the original Gary is helping him hide, and others saying that if they were with Amber, they’d go missing, too.
Another fan mentioned that Amber has a history of violence and illegal substance use, and they hoped that Gary was found safe.
How Amber Portwood Ruined Her Daughter’s, Leah, Birthday
This isn’t the first major drama to hit Amber recently, either.
In the same Teen Mom episode where Amber introduced Gary, she also called her daughter, Leah, a terrible word.
It was on her birthday, no less!
The episode showed Leah’s 15th birthday, which was at a restaurant with family members.
Her dad, Gary Shirley, and his wife, Kristina, were there with their daughter, Emilee.
Amber was also invited to celebrate her daughter’s 15th birthday, but she didn’t arrive until an hour after the party started.
When she did arrive, she started making the event about her.
She was showing off her new boyfriend, Gary, to Leah, but Leah wasn’t interested in getting to know who her mom was dating.
She looked uncomfortable and refused to look at a photo of Gary that Amber was trying to show her.
Leah did eventually say that she hoped Gary made Amber happy.
However, her reluctance caused Amber to call her a derogatory name that made her cry.
Then, Amber and Gary Shirley started fighting.
Gary had asked Kristina what time it was and that made Amber mad for some reason.
The two started arguing until Leah asked them to stop.
The dinner became so bad that Leah eventually asked to go to the bathroom.
Kristina and Emilee joined her.
When the girls came out, they collected Gary and left the restaurant, and Amber, behind.
The scene ended with Amber crying alone at the restaurant.
Fans, and even some of Amber’s fellow cast mates, were not happy about what they had witnessed.
Amber Portwood Called Her Own Daughter a Derogatory Term
The biggest problem they had was the derogatory term that Amber used.
Briana DeJesus even made a Tweet, which she later deleted, saying that parents should never call their children names.
Even her ex agreed and said that Gary had done well by keeping calm.
Other cast mates talked about how self-centered Amber was.
They said that she had made Leah’s birthday all about her.
They also claimed that this was something Amber always did.
Instead of connecting with her daughter, she always made everything about her.

While Smith attended the Bad Boys: Ride or Die movie premiere in Miami, fans spotted him with someone who had a striking resemblance to Pinkett Smith. The name of the woman is still unknown, but fans could not help compare her shaved head and lighter-colored skin compared to Smith to his former wife. She did not walk the red carpet with the actor, but she was spotted with him at other points of the premiere event. The similarities in looks have led to publications naming her a Pinkett Smith lookalike.
This is not the first time she has been spotted with Smith. The Daily Mail reports that she was with him in December 2023. She was with him at two Art Basel events in Miami, suggesting that she is a Miami resident.

In a recent Instagram weekly update post about her children and family, Teigen revealed that the family has added a new hairless cat to the family. It seems her children are also very excited about the cat, as 16-month old Esti is seen lovingly carrying the animal in the video. Since then, they’ve added plenty more into their household, and currently have 4 dogs. They’re named Pearl, Penny, Petey, and Pebbles. Due to these names, it’s a safe bet to assume their new pet cat may have a name that starts with “P”.
But in addition to the relatively standard dogs and a cat, the family also have had other pets including a hamster and a bearded dragon. They also took care of Teigen’s father’s bird for a brief period of time.

Ashanti talked about feeling helpless when she found out what was going on in her sister’s private life. She said, “It had been something that was going on and you don’t know how to deal with it.”
Ashanti opened up about how difficult she found it to not get involved, explaining that they had to respect Kenashia’s decisions. Although she wanted to respect her sister’s choices, Ashanti couldn’t help but feel like she should be doing more to protect Kenashia.
She said that she was the big sister. She told Kenashia that she didn’t like her partner and didn’t think they should be together.
Apparently, Ashanti used to tell Kenashia to leave the relationship “all the time.” She described both Kenashia and her partner as “toxic.” She would tell them that being together for them was like “drinking bleach.”
However, she also suggested that she understood why Kenashia didn’t want Ashanti to get too involved in her business. She said that since Kenashia grew up as Ashanti’s little sister, she wanted her own stuff. This was why she put up with certain things.
Ashanti is 9 years older than her younger sister. She found it hard to figure out what her role was in this situation.
She said, “And it was just like, how do you deal with this? What do we do now? No one gets a book on how to handle this.”
Ashanti Paid Tribute to Her Sister
One month before the interview, Ashani paid tribute to her sister on social media in light of DV awareness month. She wrote a lengthy post, in which she went into detail about how important it is to speak up. She also expressed her enormous pride in her sister for getting out of such a horrible situation.
Alongside her post, Ashanti shared grisly and upsetting pictures of Kenashia covered in blood and bruises. In her post, she wrote that words would never be able to express how much pain and disgust she felt reliving those moments.
However, she continued, addressing Kenashia directly and saying that she was proud of just how resilient, strong, and unbreakable she was. She described her sister as a “warrior,” and said that she loved her deeply and infinitely. Ashanti thanked Kenashia for her bravery and for “bringing awareness to this evil, vile, and sad behavior that so many women face every day.”
While Ashanti recognized that many women were made to feel so scared that they had no way out, she celebrated the fact that Kenashia had “won” by escaping her situation. She also praised Kenashia for helping others in similar situations by being open and honest about her experiences. Ashanti wrote, “By sharing your story you bring hope, strength & continue to raise awareness.”
She concluded her long, emotional post by telling Kenashia that she would “get back” everything she deserved. Kenashia chose not to share the identity of the partner who had attacked her when she opened up about her toxic relationship.
Kenashia’s Relationship Wasn’t Initially Violent
According to People Magazine, Kenashia had also previously been in a relationship with the rapper Slow Bucks. In fact, the couple were actually engaged for a period of time.
During her appearance on Red Table Talk, Kenashia said that she was in high school when she first met the man who would later attack her. She recalled, “I was about 18 or 19 years old. I hadn’t really had a real relationship.”
She went on to say that, to begin with, the relationship was “pretty fun.” Kenashia described the man as “extremely attentive.” He would apparently compliment her all the time.
He gave her the attention that she felt she both wanted and needed. This was, according to Kenashia, connected to the negative effect her sister’s singing career had on her. She longed for more attention from their mom, Tina, who was busy trying to help Ashanti’s career after the release of her first album.
Kenashia said that she developed “coping mechanisms” to deal with her feelings of being unloved and ignored. These coping mechanisms would apparently “show up” in her relationships. This was part of the reason she stayed in the relationship for so long after things became toxic and violent.
According to Hello Beautiful, she was with her partner for 13 years before he became dangerous. She said that there were earlier signs, but she was confused and tricked by his love-bombing behavior.
There were some things that she thought were wrong, but whenever she would try to address them, her partner would tell her that the way she thought was wrong. Kenashia then said that over time, this made her question herself and kept her in doubt.
Kenashia Reflected on Her Experience
The couple eventually took a break, only to return to each other a short time later. It was at this point that Kenasia’s partner became physically harmful. He reportedly became paranoid about her cheating on him during their time apart, leading to violent disputes.
In a traumatic moment for Ashanti, she discovered that her sister was being attacked as they spoke on the phone. She said, “I don’t know about when it started. Ironically, I was on the phone with you. It was gut-wrenching.”
On that occasion, Kenashia’s partner allegedly left marks across her neck, forcing her to pick up a sharp weapon to protect herself.
On her 31st birthday, Kenashia revealed the truth about her pain in a startling fashion on social media. She shared a video she put together which featured clips from her childhood all the way up to 2022. Halfway through the video, you could see the awful photos of her injuries.
In October 2022, Kenashia found the courage to reflect honestly on her experience. She wrote in a post, “It was dangerous not only for obvious reasons but also because to the outside world, everything seemed fine.”
Kenashia Is Proud of Who She Became
Despite how difficult the process of sharing her story must have been for her, Kenashia stayed true to herself and kept hold of her dignity throughout. She shared that she held “grace and patience for the woman [she] was and everything she didn’t know.”
She even wrote that she was grateful to the person she used to be for taking her on the journey to being who she is now. Kenashia concluded by stating that she was not a “victim” or a “survivor,” and that everything she went through was all part of her story, her journey, and her life.
Despite how difficult things were for Kenashia and her family, thankfully, that horrific chapter of her story is now well behind her. They can all finally relax and try to heal from all the awful things that happened.
This may, however, prove to be a long journey. It’s clear that Kenashia was deeply affected by what happened to her, as were her mother and sister, who hated seeing her in that situation.

A video purportedly showing Diddy physically assaulting singer Cassie Ventura, his ex-girlfriend, recently went viral. The video has incited a lot of concern for Cassie and anger towards Diddy… and also made many wonder about the music mogul’s previous actions. The bodyguard who used to work for Diddy has now chosen to speak out, providing a terrifying look into the world behind the flash and glamour.
Diddy’s History of Allegations
The former bodyguard, Roger Bonds, has been outspoken in the past about Diddy‘s behavior. But the Cassie video’s release has rekindled his desire to share much more. He outlined a behavior pattern that creates a troubling image of Diddy‘s personal life in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.
The bodyguard said Diddy‘s abusive manhandling of Cassie was only the beginning. The star, he claims, is someone who is prone to outbursts of rage and manipulation behind a well-manicured public persona. The man behind closed doors is not who you see on stage, he said.
Diddy’s Former Bodyguard, Roger, Said Diddy, ‘… has a God syndrome’
The evening shown on camera was apparently not an unusual occurrence. Many nights, the bodyguard says, he had to step in to keep Cassie and others safe from Diddy‘s anger. “I’ve gotten in between things of this nature before and this was back in 2012,” he said. “He’s a king manipulator. He can manipulate anything and anyone. Money and power is what he’s all about. Having conversations with him throughout the years, he has a God syndrome.”
He talked of a fearful and controlling environment in Diddy‘s inner circle. Everybody knew where they belonged, he said. You either followed instructions or you paid the price.
Bonds said he has not spoken to Diddy since the day before Cassie filed a suit against Diddy back in November. The case was settled, though Diddy’s attorney made a point to note that settling doesn’t mean he is guilty.
When asked why Bonds continued to work for Diddy despite witnessing his abusive behavior, Bonds was frank.
“A lot of people say, ‘Why did you stay?’ and I tell people I was also manipulated,” Bonds noted in the interview. “He would also apologize to me like, ‘Yo, I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Yo, that’s not going to happen again.’ You would see everything going right for the next couple of weeks, for the next month or two, and then all of a sudden, you would see him blow up again over something.”
Diddy’s Response to His Abusive Behavior
Diddy has refuted the claims as was to be expected. Declaring the accusations to be unfounded and an effort to damage his reputation, his defenders have released statements. With the bodyguard’s testimony and the video, though, it’s getting harder to brush these charges off as rumors.
Diddy has since responded to the video of him assaulting Cassie on Instagram.
“It’s difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, sometimes you gotta do that,” said Diddy in an Instagram video. “I was f–ked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted.”
This story is far from over, as seen by Diddy‘s legal team preparing to fight against the slew of lawsuits he’s received in the last few months. The public, meantime, is left to consider the likelihood that one of the most significant musicians might have a far darker side than anyone could have predicted.
