Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka Call It Quits

Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka have allegedly split up after seven years together. According to Page Six, their breakup was caused by Bryan’s desire to start a family of his own.

Just hours after reports emerged that the couple had gone their separate ways, a source talked to the outlet about it. The insider alleged that the 14-year age gap between the partners played a part in the breakup, as it meant that Mariah and Bryan wanted different things.

Bryan Reportedly Wants to Have Kids

The source told Page Six that Bryan “wants to have a family. That’s not where she is at.” Mariah already shares 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-husband Nick Cannon. Word began spreading that the singer and her partner had split up as Mariah started her Merry Christmas One and All tour in November. It was noticed that Bryan, a backup dancer, had not made an appearance at Mariah’s shows. Fans commented on Bryan’s absence at Mariah’s concert at the Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in Highland, California.

For over a decade, Bryan had been seen dancing at Mariah’s shows. According to The Daily Mail, some fans remarked that Mariah “looked downbeat” at the show, and complained about her alleged “low energy performance.”

The Daily Mail reported that Mariah is also currently spending the holiday season in Aspen without Bryan. In the past, the 40 year old would usually accompany Mariah on her trips, according to a source who talked to PEOPLE.

The couple began dating in 2016, and this is allegedly the first time they have not traveled together during the Christmas holidays. They were last seen together in March this year while celebrating Mariah’s 54th birthday. At that time, Bryan posted a picture of himself and Mariah on his Instagram. In the caption, he wrote, “This is one of my favorite pictures. Ever. Happy Anniversary to my Beautiful Queen. 3/27”.

Fans Noticed Bryan’s Absence From Mariah’s Instagram Profile

However, concerns about the couple breaking up intensified as it was noticed that Bryan had not been featured on Mariah’s Instagram profile since December last year. The Daily Mail reported that the “Fantasy” singer’s last post which included Bryan is allegedly from December 26, 2022. In the post, Bryan and Mariah posed cheek to cheek to celebrate Boxing Day.

The couple first met in the mid 2000s. Bryan worked as one of Mariah’s backup dancers during her “Adventures of Mimi” tour in 2006. In 2016, Bryan talked to E! News about getting together with Mariah. He said, “something connected with us back in the day and there was just a mutual admiration.”

“She saw something in me that I didn’t actually recognize at first, from that it was over. It was set in history that we were gonna be connected some way, somehow,” he added. That same year, Mariah ended her engagement with James Packer. Shortly afterwards, she and Bryan began their own relationship.

So far, neither Mariah or Bryan have made any public statements about allegations of splitting up.

Lizzo Files Motion to Dismiss Harassment Lawsuit

Singer Lizzo has requested that Los Angeles court officials dismiss her harassment and discrimination lawsuit, according to the Los Angeles Times. The lawsuit was filed against her in September by New York designer Asha Daniels. Lizzo’s recent motion was filed on Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

In the motion, Lizzo called Asha’s suit “meritless and salacious.” She also said that Asha has “no basis to seek recovery under California statutes.” Along with the “Truth Hurts” singer herself, Asha’s lawsuit listed her touring company, wardrobe manager and touring manager as co-defendants.

Lizzo Denies Allegations and Makes Claims of Her Own

In Lizzo’s motion, she alleged that Asha was a New York resident, and that her company, Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc., was based in Delaware. She also alleged that Asha “exclusively” worked on the tour in Europe. Asha’s role with Lizzo was reportedly to design costumes for the Grammy winner’s backup dancers.

Additionally, Lizzo described the designer as a “disgruntled” employee.” She went on to say that Asha allegedly “refused to comply with instructions from her supervisors and tour management.” She also alleged that Asha “failed to perform the work that she was assigned, and eventually, just played hooky and refused to show up for work.”

Asha’s attorney responded to the news of the motion in a statement shared with the LA Times. The lawyer, Ron Zambrano, dismissed the singer’s request, describing it as “yet another Hail Mary.”

He alleged that Lizzo had filed the motion “to try to shift blame to the victims.” He also made reference to another harassment lawsuit filed by three of Lizzo’s former dancers. Asha’s attorney continued by saying that “Lizzo and her lawyers can continue trying to rationalize her illegal and wretched conduct.”

“But we remain committed to seeking justice for our clients, and look forward to our day in court where Lizzo can explain her behavior in a public forum,” he added.

Asha’s Allegations Against Lizzo: A Toxic Workplace

Asha had alleged that Lizzo’s brand of body positivity, diversity and empowerment were just a facade. She also alleged that she was introduced to a “culture of racism and bullying” when she started working on Lizzo’s tour in February this year. The designer claimed that she was made to work an intense work schedule. She also detailed several alleged incidents and comments made by Lizzo’s wardrobe manager about both the singer and her dancers.

Asha then claimed that she had informed the tour manager about the comments, but that her complaints were dismissed. Asha alleged that “the toxic work environment continued without change.” She also alleged in her suit that she was fired before her contract was set to end in March 2023, among other allegations.

The lawsuit filed by Lizzo’s former dancers Crystal Williams, Arianna Davis and Noelle Rodriguez made some similar allegations as made in Asha’s lawsuit. Both lawsuits mentioned incidents involving crew members and management in Amsterdam during Lizzo’s tour. According to the LA Times, Asha is seeking a wide range of damages connected to her allegation.

These include unpaid wages, loss of earnings, deferred compensation, employment benefits, emotional distress, medical expenses and legal fees.

Zach Bryan announced on X to his fans that he had officially earned his Bachelor’s degree — and fulfilled one of his late mother’s wishes in the process.

In the post, he revealed to his fans that he had gotten his degree on December 17th, 2023. He had promised his mom a long time ago that he would do that for her.

Despite his mother’s passing, Zach still made good on his promise and passed the required exams to earn his degree. Due to Zach’s touring, he wasn’t able to attend college like other students.

He hinted at how different college life was for him in his post. He shared that he had taken his exams in the desert, while in green rooms, and before concerts. Finally, he said he had attended college while also passing through hundreds of venues.

Zach Joined the Navy When He Was 17

Zach did not disclose what college he attended or what degree he had received his Bachelor’s in. He finished off his post by saying it was going to be a good week. He initially decided not to attend college to follow in his father’s footsteps. Zach’s father, Dewayne, served in the Navy. It was why Zach was born in Okinawa, Japan, despite later being raised in Oklahoma.

Zach also joined the Navy when he was 17 years old. His Navy career ran for eight years. While he served in the Navy, Zach used the opportunity to work on writing music. At that point, he primarily made music for his own enjoyment rather than looking to perform for others.

After gaining a following for his music, he was honorably discharged from the military, and he was able to start focusing on being an artist full-time.

Zach stated in an Instagram post that the Navy honorably discharged him, so he could pursue music and attend the “Ain’t for Tamin’” tour. He also stated in the post that it hadn’t been his decision to leave the Navy, and he’d happily keep serving in the world’s greatest Navy.

Zach’s Mom Has Inspired Many of His Songs

Zach’s mother has been a muse for him, inspiring many of his songs. He even considers his mother the reason why he became involved with music in the first place. Although he only seriously started writing and performing music in 2017, he has been writing songs since the age of 14.

It was in 2017, however, that his friends started to record him performing some of the songs he had written. The friends uploaded the performances to YouTube, and Zach quickly began to attract a large fanbase.

In 2019, Zach released his debut album, which he had called DeAnn after his mother. The album was dedicated to her.

It only took two months to write the entire album. Zach and his friends recorded the songs in an Airbnb rental in Florida. He rose to fame and earned a few awards as an up-and-coming country star. At the Billboard Music Awards in 2023, he won Top New Artist and Top Rock Artist. Also, in 2023 at the Academy of Country Music Awards, Zach won New Male Artist of the Year.

Zach continues to try and make his mother proud by upholding the promises he made her years ago.

Maren Morris Speaks Out On Dating

Maren Morris has shared an update about her dating life just two months after filing for divorce from Ryan Hurd. She appeared on “The Howard Stern Show” this week, and he asked her where she stands with her dating life.

She said that she was more focused on getting her divorce wrapped up first. But that wasn’t all she had to say. She went even further, saying, “I don’t have the headspace for that yet. But I’m writing so much right now. That’s kind of been my way of dating, is just through song.”

RELATED: Kellie Pickler Update After Husband’s Tragic Death

Maren filed for divorce on October 2nd, 2023. In Tennessee, there’s a 90-day waiting period for couples with minor children. Maren and Ryan are parents to their almost four-year-old son, Hayes.

Rumors swirled that they might be attempting to reconcile last month after she posted a video of the former couple giving their son a bath together. But she confirmed that that was not the case during her appearance on “The Howard Stern Show,” where she spoke openly about the divorce.

Ryan and Maren’s Divorce Isn’t Finalized Yet

Ryan has yet to respond to Maren’s filing. Because of the 90-day waiting period, the absolute earliest that the two could be divorced is December 31, 2023.

Neither have spoken out about the actual reason for the divorce, but Life & Style Magazine claimed to have insider knowledge that his career as a songwriter in Nashville was suffering because she was becoming more and more  outspoken about politics in country music.

“All he wanted to do was write music, but some of the people Ryan writes with are people Maren has made mad, and it caused a huge problem between them,” an inside source allegedly told Life & Style Magazine.

What Ryan and Maren Have Been Up to Post-Divorce

However, Ryan was always loudly supportive of his now-estranged wife in interviews and on social media. His last Instagram post before Maren filed for divorce was in support of her decision to step away from country music.

Since the filing, he seems to be taking some time for himself. Two weeks ago, he posted pictures of himself on vacation in the Bahamas. And just a couple of days ago, he posted pictures of himself in the mountains on vacation in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Maren, on the other hand, has spent the time since filing for divorce walking back a lot of her statements about her feelings on country music. Originally, she said that she was retiring from country music, but she has since said that she simply meant that she was leaving the toxic parts of country music behind.

2023 was a year of transformation for Maren. She left country music, even though she later backtracked, an industry that she’s been a part of for over a decade. She also filed for divorce from her husband of five years. One thing is for sure: She is focused on music more than love right now.

NeNe Leakes Celebrates Brithday With Her Ex Nyoni

NeNe Leakes celebrated her 56th birthday on December 13th with her ex Nyoni. This came as a surprising encounter since she had previously called him “broke and dumb “on social media just a month ago.

The occasion was celebrated in Washington DC, and in a post shared on Instagram the next day, Nene could be seen sitting next to close friends, and her ex. She also shared another clip of herself blowing on the candles on her cake while everyone joked around about not lighting her hair on fire.

Nene Says That It’s Not What It Looks Like

The posts of NeNe and her ex have since started gaining traction online, but she promised that it isn’t what it looks like.

According to a screenshot obtained by Neighborhood Talk, she wrote “sis you can have him! TRUST ME…..it’s not what you think.” She also added a bunch of insults and called him names ending with, “RUN WHILE YOU CAN.”

The two of them previously ended their relationship back in July of this year, and NeNe even spoke about it on the “Reality With the King” podcast: “Today, we are taking a break. We’ve been taking a break, I’m not happy with, things he’s not happy with. It’s just not working at the moment.”

“He is single so if any of the ladies out there want to holla at him, go right ahead,” she added.

Despite her negative social media outburst against Nyoni, she had remained relatively calm when she first revealed the news. She even said that the relationship had taught her many things that she will take into her next relationship.

Nene Spoke Out About Her Relationship Lessons

“My next relationship will be absolutely private. This was the most public I think I’ve ever been in any relationship. And I just feel like it’s just best to be private,” she said.

Nene also mentioned the money aspect of her dating life, saying that “I know from dating Nyoni… I just want my guy to make more money than me. I really do.”

She had mentioned online that he was “broke” and also made a point to say that she wanted to make sure her next man made more money than her. In that same post, she also called him a cheater and a liar.

Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry just discussed her plan to have her close friend be her surrogate.

Kailyn invited Bone Estrada, who was once featured on Teen Mom 2, on her “Barely Famous” podcast. The two friends talked about once making a plan to have Bone carry Kailyn’s child.

“You just know when you’re not done having kids and you know when you are done having kids. So there was a point where I had said that I was not done having children – we’re gonna do gender selection – and then Bone was going to carry my children or child,” said Kailyn.

She added,” and Elijah [Scott] was on board. I don’t know if your boyfriend was on board,” referring to Bone’s romantic partner.

Bone revealed that she had already agreed to the idea when she met her current significant other. Fans reacted to a snippet of the episode shared on Kailyn’s Instagram

“We need regular Bone appearances on the podcast-so intrigued by her story!” wrote one commenter. “Kail, you gotta give your girl a sister,” added another. “How do you know you don’t have a pregnancy addiction?” asked another commenter.

Kailyn Is Now a Mom of 7

Kailyn just reportedly welcomed twins with her boyfriend Elijah – a boy and a girl. She and Elijah also share baby Rio, whom they secretly welcomed in November 2022 and kept away from the public eye for a while.

Rio celebrated his first birthday last month. Kailyn is also mom to 13-year-old Isaac, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and nine-year-old Lincoln, whom she shares with ex-husband Javi Marroquin.

She also shares sons Lux, six, and Creed, three, with ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez.

In a November episode of her podcast, Kailyn said she was done having kids. “No more pregnancy, no more pregnancies, no more surprise pregnancies, unplanned pregnancies, pregnancy, surrogacy, none of it. It’s all done. The chapter of motherhood will be closing as far as baby-making, but I’m excited for my kids,” she said.

She also discussed “getting her tubes cut out” in the same episode.

“Now I feel like our family is complete — I won’t have anything missing. I won’t feel like, ‘What if we had another one?’ I’m excited to explore this motherhood journey in terms of privacy and putting out what I want to put out. I’m excited for that,” she added.

However, in late November, Kailyn fueled speculation that she was open to baby No.8 by commenting on an Instagram post.”This video is the cutest thing I’ve seen in so long. I feel like my daughter needs a sister,” she wrote under a video of a girl bonding with her baby sister.

Kailyn will be celebrating Christmas with her children for the first time in five years this year. She has been vocal about skipping the tradition and having her kids celebrate with their fathers instead in the past.

Jeremy and Audrey Roloff Baby No 4 Update

Little People, Big World stars Jeremy and Audrey Roloff announced that they were expecting their fourth child three weeks ago. They made the announcement online with a video on Instagram alongside their daughter and two sons.

In the video, the whole Roloff family is seen standing in a line, before Audrey leans over and whispers something to her husband. After spinning Audrey around, Jeremy whispers the news to daughter Ember Jean, who then passes it on to the two boys.

The youngest, Radley, then starts repeating the phrase “big brother” over and over again. The clip ends with the whole family cheering and celebrating.

In the caption to the post, Audrey and Jeremy wrote, “Secret’s out… Baby #4 is on the way! We are so excited to be growing our family again and adding another little grommet to our crew.”

The post was then shared on both parents’ respective Instagram pages. The announcement quickly racked up over 282,000 likes.

Audrey and Jeremy Spoke Out On the Baby’s Gender

In the weeks following the announcement of their fourth pregnancy, Audrey and Jeremy have said that they were leaning towards finding out their baby’s gender. Audrey revealed this in a Q&A on her Instagram Stories last Monday. She explained that she had not known Radley’s gender while pregnant with him.

She also confessed that she “didn’t feel as attached to Rad” during her pregnancy because they had not been sure on a name. However, she had known the genders and names of her other kids in advance. Which was why, she said, “in case this is our last time, I want to feel that connection more this time”.

Last year, another of Audrey’s Instagram posts hit headlines four months after the birth of Radley. She revealed that her third pregnancy resulted in an “extremely rare” en caul birth. This is a rare but harmless event where a baby is born while still within a protective membrane from the womb. Some time after Radley’s birth in November 2021, Audrey shared a post describing what happened to her. She said that it was her “first birth outside of the hospital.”

Audrey’s Third Labor Was a Difficult Experience

She also revealed that she “had a prior history of fast labors and postpartum issues.” However, she added that she and Jeremy had talked a lot with her midwives and had a great plan in place. Audrey explained that she experienced five days of contractions after reaching 40 weeks. This made her nervous about reaching the birth center in time.

RELATED: Ciara and Russell Wilson Welcome a Daughter

Audrey said the third labor was different to her two previous experiences. When she finally went into labor, she “didn’t have the same feeling of the baby coming down, like with the other kids.” She recalled having “crazy back labor and lots of pressure with no feeling of progress and described it as painful and mentally hard experience.

According to Audrey, this was because she felt like she was pushing and not getting anywhere. However, she also described Radley’s birth as “harmonious” and explained that “all the uncontrollable puzzle pieces seemed to just come together”, and that “nothing felt raised or chaotic.” She continued her post by saying that “that golden hour after birth was pure joy” and wrapped up with “SO. MUCH. HARMONY.”

Luke Combs’ $250k Fan Lawsuit, Explained

Luke Combs recently made an Instagram video to talk about a lawsuit that involved one of his fans. He shared that the incident made him absolutely sick to his stomach.

After seeing a news report that WFLA had published the day before, he wanted to address the situation. The report stated that a woman from Pinellas, Florida named Nicol Harness had been sued by Luke’s team, and that she needed to pay the singer $250,000.

RELATED: Kelly Clarkson’s Ex-Husband Ordered to Pay Back $2.6M

Nicol suffers from congestive heart failure and her only source of income was selling homemade tumblers and T-shirts on Amazon. Being a big fan of Luke’s, Nikol said that she began selling Luke Combs-themed tumblers. She claimed that she sold a total of 18 tumblers for 20 dollars each, amounting to $380.

She also shared that the situation was very stressful, she didn’t have money to pay her bills and she just wanted to get back to her day-to-day life.

Luke Said He Was Shocked When He First Read the News

WFLA reported that Nicol had hoped that she could tell Luke that she was sorry and that she didn’t mean any harm. She respected him and she didn’t mean for things to go wrong the way that they did.

In his video, Luke shared that he was completely shocked when he first read the news story. He explained that it wasn’t something he would ever do, it wasn’t the kind of person that he was. He added that he isn’t greedy in any way, shape, or form, and that money was the last thing on his mind.

It turns out that Luke’s management did have something in place to protect Luke’s image and how it was used. But the country star claimed that it wasn’t necessarily intended to target individuals like Nicol. In his explanation of what happened, Luke said that there was a company that went after folks — only it was supposedly looking out for large corporations operating internationally that’d make millions and millions of dollars.

Nicol told WFLA that she had no clue that she’d even been sued, until she got back from a hospital stay and found out that she couldn’t access the money she’d made on Amazon.

RELATED: Kellie Pickler Update After Husband’s Tragic Death

Eventually, she found an email in her junk folder which informed her of the lawsuit and stated that Luke’s attorney had given her 21 days to respond.

However, she claimed that she never got the opportunity to reply since she was in hospital when the email was sent to an email address that she hardly ever used.

WFLA reported that Nicol was just one of multiple sellers being sued by Luke’s legal team for selling illegal merchandise. Before she even knew about the lawsuit, the Illinois judge had already ordered each defendant to pay $250,000.

Luke Wants to Make Up for It and Cover Nicol’s Medical Bills

Luke revealed in his Instagram video that he’d promised to send his fan $11,000, which was double the amount of money Nicol had in the Amazon account that she’d lost access to.

On top of that, he said that he’d also be launching a tumbler in his official store, and would send all the proceeds to Nicol and her family to help with her medical expenses.

Luke also added that he couldn’t imagine being in her shoes. He invited Nicol and her family to one of his shows so that he could hug her and say sorry in person.

Raven-Symoné released a video message to Instagram on December 11th with a sad announcement.

She announced her younger brother, Blaize Pearman, passed away in November 2023 after a two-year battle with colon cancer.

The public response was shock and sadness. Raven-Symoné never shared her brother’s serious health struggles on social media.

Blaize wasn’t a celebrity, but he was active on social media. He liked to display his sense of humor, but he also kept his cancer battle private.

Several years ago, Blaze posted a funny photo of himself behind a lawnmower.

He revealed that he was visiting his mom in Georgia. Blaize captioned the photo,“I come visit GA… and mom got me mowing the lawn in 94 heat.”

As Blaize’s health worsened, his followers began to notice something different about him online.

Some Fans Were Concerned About Blaize’s Weight Loss

Someone asked him on social media. “You are gettin’ skinny, dude! You vegan?” Even as his physical condition became more noticeable on social media, Blaize chose not to share the news that he had cancer. He did ask for some “good news” in an Instagram post dated January 29, 2021.

As recently as May 2023, Blaize posted a happy photo on social media with his mom and another family member. His caption was upbeat: “Hard to find two people realer than the fam!”

In her Instagram video, Raven-Symoné explained more about her brother’s colon cancer. She also thanked her followers for their “amazing” birthday wishes. Raven-Symone’s 38th birthday was on December 10th. Although this year, Raven felt bittersweet about her birthday.

“The emotions that have been weaving in and out of my body and mind and family have been a roller coaster,” she said.

She also said that Blaize would be “loved and missed” and that she feels that Blaize “is in a better place now.” Raven-Symoné revealed that Blaize would have celebrated his next birthday on December 16th. Blaize was six years younger than his sister. The siblings shared a very strong bond growing up.

Blaize and Raven-Symoné Have Always Been Close

Blaize appeared with Raven-Symoné at various red-carpet events. He was only a few months old in 1992 when he was photographed in his stroller at a Helping Hands event. A throwback photo from that day shows a younger Raven-Symoné kissing her baby brother sweetly on his cheek.

In 2001, a more grown-up Blaize walked the red carpet premiere of Dr. Doolittle 2 with Raven-Symoné, who starred in the movie. Blaize and his sister looked stylish in matching denim outfits and coordinated sunglasses.

Raven-Symoné’s friends and fellow celebrities spoke out about the strong bond between her and her little brother, including Sabrina Bryan, who co-starred Raven-Symone in Cheetah Girls.

Sabrina forwarded her condolences on social media. “I am so sorry to hear this news,” she wrote. Sabrina described Raven-Symoné as “such an awesome big sister who loved and adored her baby brother.”

And pictures and posts on Blaize’s social media show that he adored his sister just as much. Blaize even poked fun at Raven-Symoné as he celebrated her birthday in 2019. He shared a photo of his sister sleeping. “Happy Birthday @ raven symone… embarrassing photos are the best!!!” he captioned.

Blaize did appear on television with his sister at least once in his life. Raven-Symoné, Blaize, two of her co-stars, and her parents were on a Celebrity Family Feud tournament. They were competing to raise money for the American Red Cross. Their first match of the tournament was against Wayne Newton and his family. Raven-Symoné’s family won that match.

Then, they appeared in the next round of the tournament and competed against the late Joan Rivers and her family. Raven-Symoné’s team lost that round. But the Celebrity Family Feud host, Al Roker, gave Raven-Symoné’s team $10,000 to donate to their charity.

Celebrity Friends and Fans Offered Their Condolences

Another celebrity friend of Raven-Symoné’s is Holly Robinson Peete. Holly starred with Raven-Symoné on Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper. She wrote online that she was so sorry to hear the news about Blaize: “I loved spending time and getting to know your brother since he was a toddler.”

Holly also sent love to Raven-Symoné’s family and everyone who loved Blaize. On December 10, 2022, Raven-Symoné celebrated Blaize’s birthday in an Instagram post. She called her brother “one of the kindest protectors” she knows.

“My love energy and hugs go to you this day,” she wrote, wishing Blaize “more years to come” as well. Raven-Symoné’s supporters gave her some wise words during this challenging time. “There aren’t many words I can offer you… but as someone who lost their father to cancer… just know that Blaize really is in a better place,” wrote one fan. “Take it a day at a time… cry when you need to… and keep pushing through…”

Raven-Symoné spoke to all her supporters: “My family on Instagram, my family at home, and my family and friends… you guys have been such an amazing support system.” She ended her video message by saying, “I love you all.”
