It looks like time really does heal all wounds. It’s been reported that Teen Mom rivals Briana DeJesus and Mackenzie McKee have finally squashed their former beef.
In Touch revealed that Briana talked to them about the experience of reuniting with Mackenzie for the filming of Teen Mom: Family Reunion. Anyone expecting to hear Briana bad-mouthing her costar was in for a surprise.
Briana told In Touch that it had been “surprisingly great” to work with Mackenzie again. She described their previous bad blood as “a little bit of a hiccup back in the day,” and claimed that they were both “past that.”

Briana then went on to heap praise on Mackenzie, stating, “I think she’s a great person.” She said that Mackenzie brought a lot of “energy” to filming and helped to make it a “really good experience.”
Briana and Mackenzie, both 29, were the stars of the single season of Teen Mom 3 in 2013. Four years after Teen Mom 3 was canceled, they were both interviewed to join the cast of Teen Mom 2. However, only Briana was selected to appear on the show.

After MTV made their decision, Mackenzie was reported to have fired shots at Briana over her selection. She suggested Briana was chosen to return over her because Mackenzie was “married and [has] three kids with the same guy.” She went on to hint that she believed that MTV chose Briana due to her having multiple different baby daddies, which she claimed more people were interested in.

From there, the feud between the two stars grew, spilling onto social media. A few months later, Mackenzie liked a post from a fan who criticized Briana’s inclusion in Teen Mom 2. In response, Briana tweeted, “Lmao why?”.
Mackenzie then took to Twitter herself, and without naming names, hinted that Briana “hated” her. She wrote, “I don’t hate anyone. I’ve always loved this person. But I can promise she hates me.”
The pair continued to take jabs at each other the following year.

In Touch reported that Mackenzie had claimed that she had not talked to Briana since she had allegedly called her “a nutcase.” She went on to add, “We just kind of blocked each other from there. It was a mess.”
In the time between then and now, it seems both Mackenzie and Briana have put the past behind them. They met each other again for the latest season of Family Reunion along with several other former Teen Moms in Colombia.
There seemed to be a lot of positivity from the cast members about what they wanted to get from their return. Briana shared that she “went in there just to have a good time.”
Unlike many of her castmates, Briana returned to the show without a partner. Mackenzie, meanwhile, has found love again with boyfriend Khesanio Hall after splitting with her husband Josh in 2022.
The new season of Family Reunion will air tomorrow at 8 pm ET.
