But all of this happened after he had already been friends with Diddy. You see, Denzel and Diddy used to be much closer than they are today.
That was when Diddy didn’t have as much influence and wasn’t the most hated celebrity in the world.
Word on the street is that Diddy’s friendship with Denzel was ruined because Denzel started to notice that certain things were off about Diddy, things he knew he didn’t want to get involved in because if he did it wouldn’t just ruin his career, but his life too. No one can blame him for this. Diddy has a long list of celebrities that he’s ruined just because they associated with him.
Diddy Derailed The Game’s Career
There was The Game, who was linked to Diddy back when he was still an upcoming rapper. Apparently, he and Diddy hung out together so much that they started going shopping and doing things together.
Although neither of them came out to explain the extent of their friendship, everyone knew that they were really close. When Diddy was done with him, he threw him to the curb.
I guess you can say this is why The Game’s career never really lived up to its full potential. When Diddy had cut him off, not everyone was willing to associate themselves with him.
But that’s just the beginning of the drama. Rumor has it that Denzel’s issue had everything to do with Diddy’s freak-off parties.
Apparently, Denzel saw the type of things that were going on there and knew it would only get worse. Before things had the chance to get as bad as he had predicted, he decided to cut Diddy off.
Back in the 90s, when Diddy had started throwing his parties, it wasn’t as crazy as it was now. Back then, the party was mainly about music and entertainment.
It was a means for A-listers to have fun and network with people like themselves and build better business relationships. This was why everyone struggled to get an invite to it.
Not attending didn’t just mean missing out on the chance to associate with some of the biggest stars in the world. It also meant that you might just be missing out on the opportunity that could change your life for good.
Many Celebrities Have Spoken Out Against Diddy
As the years went by, the motive behind Diddy’s parties started to change. Around the same time, Diddy started moving higher up on the industry ladder.
Was it a coincidence? I think not.
What started as an innocent event turned into something else, all thanks to Diddy.
Over the years, several celebrities have spoken about their experiences at Diddy’s parties and the types of things they’ve seen. Let me tell you, most of their comments weren’t speaking well of these parties.
According to Lil Rod, who filed a lawsuit against Diddy, the houses were stashed with cameras in every room. I mean every single room.
Apparently, Diddy did this to record people without their consent, knowing full well that he gave them room to do a whole bunch of illegal stuff at his parties. Starting with substances, apparently, there are tons of illegal substances at Diddy’s parties.
That’s not all. There were also underage girls whom Diddy would bring to entertain some of his guests. Diddy was also allegedly making his guests sign a non-disclosure agreement.
I could go on and on about the allegations against Diddy, but it wouldn’t make them any less disturbing. This wouldn’t be the first time someone spoke about the type of disturbing things Diddy is into.
Diddy Regularly Hosted “Freak-Offs”
Cassie had said it all when she had filed her lawsuit against him. The very same suit that I think we can all agree started Diddy’s downfall.
According to Cassie, Diddy would force her to be intimate with different guys so he could watch her. He would call these freak-offs, which is why his parties were given that name.
Now this has been something Diddy has been doing for a really long time. In 2015, one of Cassie’s close friends, Tiffany Red, revealed that she had seen Diddy force Cassie to leave her birthday party so she could get in bed with some guy he had bought for her.
When Diddy’s team got wind of this, the first thing they did was deny it all. That didn’t come as a surprise to anyone really.
This is where it gets interesting. After weeks of denying everything, Diddy decided to settle with Cassie outside of court so the case wouldn’t escalate beyond its current state.
A lot of people found this strange. If Diddy was as innocent, why did he settle out of court so quickly? He definitely has the money to prove himself innocent.
The only thing that makes sense is that he settled because he knew that the longer the case got, the harder it was going to be for him to win. More of his secrets would be exposed.
Unfortunately for him, his downfall had already begun. Now it’s a waiting game to see how it all plays out.
I guess you can say that Denzel must be really glad he ended his and Diddy’s alleged friendship when he did. If he didn’t, he probably would have gotten roped into all of this alongside the dozens of celebrities tangled up in Diddy’s mess like Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Chris Brown.
