Jeezy and Jeannie Mai are currently going through a messy divorce. But this isn’t the first time Jeezy has fought with one of his exes.
He and his ex-fiance Mahi had a lot of drama, too. At the time, she revealed some really disturbing details about him.
At first, not many people believed the things she said about him. But with the recent developments and everything happening between Jeezy and Jeannie, is it possible that Mahi might’ve been right all along?
Everyone thought that Jeezy and Mahi would be endgame after dating for nine years and even getting engaged. But unfortunately, it all fell apart in the end. Eventually, they had to go their separate ways.
The only problem was they had a child together, so there was the issue of child support to sort out. Now, you would think that this would be a straightforward process, considering Jeezy has quite the income. They also share only one child and never got married.
Well, that’s not what happened. In fact, what happened was quite the opposite. Mahi filed about three times for Jeezy to serve jail time because of late child support payments.
Jeezy, on the other hand, was having none of it. Every time there was any kind of filing like that, his legal team was there to refute it.
Jeezy Accused Mahi of Being Jealous
In one of the court filings, Mahi claimed that Jeezy had missed out on just over ten thousand dollars in child support payments. He had allegedly also failed to get life insurance for their daughter. He supposedly also didn’t bother getting on the co-parenting app that would help with some logistics.
The point is, at one point in time, Mahi always had something to say about Jeezy. And none of it was good.
For the most part, Jeezy kept quiet about the whole thing. Then he finally decided to speak on everything. According to Bossip, Jeezy said that the real reason why Mahi did what she did was because she was jealous.
Now, you might be wondering – What would Mahi be jealous of? Well, her timing coincided with Jeezy proposing to his then-girlfriend, Jeannie Mai.
In Jeezy’s own words, he said that the court filing was “a vindictive and malevolent response,” considering it looked like he was moving on permanently. He thought that all this was just Mahi’s way of trying to sabotage him or cause him some trouble now that he had something really good going on in his life.
But there’s more. He also said that Mahi was in the wrong because he had gotten a court ruling that said he did not need to pay for the one month he skipped because of the money he had paid before on child support.
Jeezy added that he was fully compliant with all the agreements that were put in place, and he had given Mahi a hundred and forty thousand dollars in the past 10 weeks. Not just that, but he had also supposedly let Mahi stay in his Atlanta home rent-free, even though she was supposed to move out in April 2020, according to the judge’s ruling.
Jeezy Claimed That He Was Worried About Mahi’s Mental Health
Then, Jeezy took it a step further by claiming in his court filing that Mahi sometimes had “manic” episodes. During those episodes, she allegedly threatened to take his life, and he was worried for her mental health.
But Mahi had something to say back to Jeezy. In her own words, Jeezy had taken a “path of vitriol, lies, and slander,” and all he was saying was false.
Mahi said that she had no mental health issues. Jeezy just wanted to “embarrass and humiliate” her, and take attention away from all the wrongs he had done. Then, Mahi also said that he should bring any proof of her having a manic episode or even threatening to take his life.

She followed this up by saying that if his claim was true, then why would he let her have joint custody of their daughter? She also asked why he didn’t bring this up during their initial court proceedings.
Honestly, she does have a point here. If Jeezy was telling the truth about Mahi’s mental health, he could’ve easily gotten the upper hand in their custody battle. But he never mentioned these issues before this, which is a little suspicious.
If we skip to almost four years later, Jeezy seems to be in a similar situation all over again. This time, it’s with Jeannie. So, Mahi might have been right about him all along.
Even if she was jealous, well, let’s just say that there’s nothing to be jealous of now. Jeezy and Jeannie are about to go to court to start the process of finalizing their divorce. Just like when he called it quits on his engagement with Mahi, Jeezy was also the one who filed for divorce.
Jeezy’s Latest Divorce is Just as Messy
In his divorce filing, he said that he and Jeannie had been separated for a while. Since they’d only been married for about two years when he filed for divorce, it makes you wonder how long they could have been separated.
Interestingly, Jeannie then came out to say that she and Jeezy hadn’t been separated as Jeezy claimed. But then, things got even messier.
Jeezy alleged that Jeannie was gatekeeping their daughter from him. He took this seriously enough to include it in his court filing.

But Jeannie said that she wasn’t gatekeeping their daughter from him. Instead, what she wanted was for Jeezy to be more careful about leaving his firearms lying around.
According to PEOPLE, Jeannie wanted Jeezy to be locking his firearms away. This makes sense because we all know that children and firearms should never mix. So Jeannie made it clear that she wasn’t trying to keep Jeezy away from their daughter, but she wanted to make sure that their daughter would be safe when she was with him.
Overall, there has just been this constant back and forth between Jeezy and Jeannie, with a lot of he-said-she-said. At this point, no one really knows what to believe.
As it stands, their case is still in court, and from the looks of it, it probably isn’t going to end anytime soon. Either way, a lot of people are seeing some similarities between what’s happening with Jeezy and Jeannie now and what happened between Jeezy and Mahi.
