Jessica Biel Reacts to Justin Timberlake’s Arrest

Justin Timberlake‘s recent arrest for driving while intoxicated has put the spotlight back on his relationship with Jessica Biel. Could this scandal create a rift between them?

Here’s what we know about Jessica’s outlook:

‘Justin Has Humiliated Her Again …’

Jessica has had to be the bigger person in her relationship with Justin on more than one occasion. According to In Touch Weekly, this incident could end up being the final straw for her, though. A source told the publication the following:

“Justin has humiliated her again. This could all lead to a divorce bombshell. No one would be shocked if Jessica issued Justin an ultimatum: Get help — or it’s over.

Jessica is always trying to keep him stable.

[…] Of course he started going out. It worries her because when he’s drunk, he makes bad decisions.”

Back in the early 00’s, Justin admitted to having a wild, party streak that often involved drinking, doing drugs and hanging out with his friends, according to In Touch Weekly.

Could that wild side be putting too much of a strain on Jessica at this point?

Justin Timberlake’s Alleged Cheating

Some would say Justin’s recent DWI incident was a mere hiccup compared to his other poor relationship decisions. 

He has been alleged to have cheated on Jessica a number of times by a wide variety of people and has even had to publicly apologize for his behavior after getting caught hand in hand with women who were definitely not her.

According to Elle, he had this to say after getting drunk and holding hands with Alisha Wainwright in New Orleans back in 2019:

“A few weeks ago, I displayed a strong lapse in judgment—but let me be clear—nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. 

This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that. I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.”

Jessica Biel Stands By Her Man

Thus far, Jessica has had the patience of a saint in dealing with Justin’s questionable behavior. She seems committed to helping him relax between his performances while he’s on tour and had the following to say about their approach to nurturing their relationship when things get hectic, according to People:

“When he has his breaks, we’ll hang out and try to do something that’s relaxing and fun. He has to relax. We can’t mess around.”

Despite all of the hubbub over Justin’s latest run-in with the law, Jessica seems eager as ever to keep things moving in the right direction. Others don’t share her enthusiasm. In Touch Weekly’s source had the following to say about the couple’s future:

“Her friends think she’s married to a loser and hate that so much of her life is taken up with trying to get Justin to stay on the straight and narrow. But the arrest was a wake-up call: It’s time for her to realize she can’t do it alone. If he keeps going down this path, their marriage will be over.”
