Justin Timberlake’s world seems to be crashing down in 2024. It’s getting way worse for him now than his bad-boy drama with Britney Spears decades ago. If a poorly-selling concert tour and allegations of marriage problems with Jessica Biel aren’t enough of a downfall, The New York Post just dropped a Justin bombshell in a breaking news report on June 18th.
43-year-old Justin was in the Hamptons on June 17th, when the Post reported that he got “pulled over in Sag Harbor.” Justin has allegedly “been arrested for driving while intoxicated,” according to what a “law enforcement source told ABC News.”
TMZ also claimed to have exclusive details on June 18th, and their law enforcement sources provided more inside knowledge. TMZ’s sources revealed that Justin was seen partying on Monday night, June 17th, at the American Hotel, an establishment in Sag Harbor dating back to 1846 and billed as an “East-End fixture” in the Hamptons.
The TMZ report claimed that Justin got behind the wheel when he left the American Hotel and allegedly blew through a stop sign “almost immediately after” he began driving. TMZ wrote, “Cops saw that,” and they started a chase.
Shockingly, TMZ claimed, “We’re told Justin began swerving” behind the wheel, so “cops pulled him over.” Then, their sources told them what law enforcement did and what Justin allegedly refused to do.
TMZ’s sources confirmed that the police officers who pulled Justin over “performed a field sobriety test.” Sources didn’t reveal how Justin did with the test, but the officers allegedly asked Justin “to take a breathalyzer test.” Shockingly, Justin “refused.”
Justin’s Fans Have Retired Him
But Justin wasn’t alone. According to TMZ’s sources, “several of Justin’s friends came on scene.” These friends allegedly “tried to convince cops” to let Justin off easy.
If you figured that Justin got off the hook because he’s a celebrity, you’d be mistaken. TMZ confirmed that the police officers who stopped Justin “refused” to cut him a break.
Can you picture Justin getting “handcuffed and arrested?” That’s what went down on June 17th.
TMZ shockingly revealed that Justin’s DWI arrest and resulting humiliation were all captured on a police officer’s body cam. TMZ originally wrote that “a rep for the Sag Harbor Police Department” confirmed that Justin was taken into custody at the SHPD headquarters, but local law enforcement refused to “disclose more information.” According to other sources, Justin met his friends at the American Hotel for dinner, left “around 12:30 AM,” and was “pulled over almost immediately.”

The Post reported that Justin’s court date has been set for July 26th. They also confirmed that Justin “has been on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour since April.” He has concert dates scheduled for Madison Square Garden on June 18th and 19th.
But the Post didn’t mention that Justin’s tour has been described as a “flop.” NewsNation dropped that bombshell in May, claiming in an article by Paula Froelich that his fans had “retired” Justin after his new album and 2024 tour flopped.
Paula wrote that Justin “teased” an *NSYNC reunion at the VMAs because he wanted “to get press for his first album in six years.” Justin debuted that album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” on March 15th, but the results are worse than anyone thought.
Justin Has Been Canceling Shows
While Justin’s new album debuted in the 19th spot on the Billboard Hot 100, Paula reported that it “dropped off the Billboard Hot 200 completely after just four weeks.” She also confirmed that Justin’s tour “is far from selling out,” and Paula did her homework. She included a Ticketmaster link in the article that showed tickets “in all sections” of every venue were still available almost everywhere Justin’s tour is supposedly taking him.
Justin has also canceled tour stops, like the June concert he was supposed to play in Columbia, South Carolina. Paula wrote, “While no reason was given, insiders point to slow ticket sales.”

Paula also asked for a music expert’s opinion and wrote that she’d reached “famed music journalist” Touré of TheGrio. Touré didn’t hold back. According to him, this is the real truth.
He told Paula that Justin had waited too long to release a new album. His advancing age didn’t help the situation. Touré said, “A six-year break from your mid-thirties to your early forties is a really long time” for any artist.
Touré also believes that many of Justin’s fans “have aged out of caring about him.” He referred to an “old saying” that goes, “You don’t retire. The audience retires you.”
Jessica Was Bashed for Marrying a Cheater
Whether Justin is ready for retirement, his wife has proven that she’s ready to spill the tea on their relationship.
US Weekly reported on May 17th that Jessica dropped her own bombshell during an appearance on The View. Shockingly, Jessica confessed that her marriage to Justin is a “work in progress,” and she claimed, “We’re constantly trying.” But is Jessica actually trying to hide the fact that her marriage is failing?
Page Six reported that Jessica had to take the heat for Justin in October 2023 after Britney’s shocking allegations about Justin went public in her memoir, “The Woman in Me.” The Page Six headline claimed that Britney’s fans had flooded Jessica’s Instagram “after Justin Timberlake turns off comments.” Jessica got “bashed” for marrying an “alleged ‘cheater.’”

US Weekly reported that Jessica appeared on The View on May 16th. That’s when Jessica revealed that her and Justin’s “busy work schedules” made it a challenge to try and “find the balance” or “find the time” for their marriage. However, one thing was missing in this US Weekly article.
The article sounded like Justin is crazy busy and successful with his new album and tour. It said he was “currently globetrotting following the release of his new album,” and his tour was “making stops everywhere from Los Angeles to Amsterdam to London.” Justin’s reality seems to be much different.
Justin and Jessica’s Marriage Has Had Some Ups and Downs
Jessica said on The View that she was “already exhausted” about Justin’s world tour, and he’d only done “four shows.” She also confessed that she didn’t know how Justin was “gonna do it” or how “we’re gonna do it,” but Jessica claimed, “We’re gonna get through it. Somehow, someway.”
US Weekly reported that Justin and Jessica have had “their ups and downs,” but they’ve “continued to take steps forward in recent years.” Allegedly, Jessica and Justin have relied on “couples counseling.” A source told US Weekly that their family had a “great bonding experience” living in Montana during the global pandemic.
Another US Weekly report published on May 1st claimed that Jessica called Justin’s world tour “a family affair.” Jessica posted some “rare family photos” on Instagram at the end of April. One picture shows her sons, 9-year-old Silas and 3-year-old Phineas, wearing “merch” from Justin’s world tour.
She also posted a “backstage” photo with Justin.] US Weekly reported that the photo showed Jessica and Justin gazing at each other as “they embraced backstage.”
Jessica Is Nervous About How the Tour Will Affect Their Relationship
A source with inside knowledge spilled the tea to US Weekly about how Jessica feels about Justin going on tour. Shockingly, the source alleged that Jessica didn’t think it would be “smooth sailing.”
On one hand, this US Weekly source claimed that Jessica and Justin are “thriving as a couple.” However, she was still “nervous” about how his tour might “affect their dynamic.” The source even alleged that it was understandable for Jessica to feel that way.
Then, US Weekly got into Justin’s “problematic past.” Justin’s previous marriage problems include his “2019 incident,” when he was caught snuggling up to a former costar, 34-year-old Alisha Wainwright. The US Weekly source claimed that Jessica remains “a bit worried,” and another source had additional details.
According to US Weekly, their “second insider” believes that it will “be the last straw for Jessica” if Justin has “another incident” during his failing world tour. But what exactly does this source mean by an “incident?”
Perhaps US Weekly’s third alleged source knows the real truth. This third source told the outlet that Justin was planning on limiting “his alcohol intake and removing himself from any inappropriate situations” during his world tour.
Since Justin allegedly failed to limit his alcohol intake in Sag Harbor, it will be interesting to see if this is the kind of “incident” that will be the “last straw” for Jessica.
