Kail Lowry from Teen Mom just spoke out about her relationship with her baby daddy, Jo Rivera. She opened up about where they stand with each other on a new episode of her podcast Coffee Convos. In the episode, Kail said that she and Jo have practically no relationship with each other right now.

Jo is the father of Kail’s oldest son, Isaac, who she had on 16 and Pregnant. That was 14 years ago and she’s been in a co-parenting relationship with Jo ever since then.
But according to what she said on the podcast, the two of them are not on good terms right now. Kail said that they don’t have any communication at all between them.
Kail Isn’t Bothered by Their Relationship
Her co-host of Coffee Convos, Lindsie Chrisley, then asked Kail how that’s possible when they are co-parenting a child together. There are some things that the two of them absolutely need to discuss, such as schedules or family holidays.
Kail clarified that she and Jo do communicate about those things. She said they send each other the bare minimum of texts that they absolutely need to when it comes to Isaac. But she said that beyond that, they don’t talk about anything at all.
She also explained that this is not a new development. Apparently, this has been the case for quite a long time now.
She said that there wasn’t any particular incident that caused them to grow apart like this. But over the years, they just stopped talking other than when it’s absolutely necessary.
She also explained her own feelings about the situation. She said: “It is what it is, like, I’m not hurt by it, I’m not upset by it. I just think that with that can come frustrations and with that can come feelings of resentment and things like that.”
She also compared her co-parenting relationship with Jo to her co-parenting relationship with another baby daddy and her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin. She and Javi share her second oldest son, Lincoln.
Kail and Javi Only Talk Through Email
Kail said that her co-parenting relationship with Javi is much better than her one with Jo. She explained that Javi and her only communicate through email.
But she said they’re very cordial with each other and that there are no arguments between them. She said the two of them aren’t overly friendly towards one another. But at the same time, if they need to have a conversation, there are no problems with that.
That includes in-person conversations that might happen when Lincoln has a sporting event happening or on similar occasions. Kail said that she and Javi are always straight to the point about whatever they need to talk about.
But although she and Jo don’t speak at all, she acknowledged that there will be times when they actually need to talk. The two of them still need to make all the important decisions together when it comes to raising Isaac.
Kail said that when those times come, she and Jo will talk about whatever is necessary and reach a decision together. But she also said that other than that, she doesn’t expect their communication to pick up any time soon.
Kail might not be on speaking terms with Jo, but someone she does talk to is Jo’s wife, Vee Rivera. She and Vee are good friends and have a podcast together, called Baby Mamas No Drama.
When Kail talked about not speaking with Jo on Coffee Convos, she didn’t address the fact that she does speak with his wife. She also didn’t clarify if her and Vee’s friendship is at all affected by the state of her relationship with Jo.
