Kane and Katelyn Brown just announced that they are expecting their third baby. The country star and his wife made the announcement on Instagram on Christmas morning. They posted a family photo with their daughters Kingsley, 4, and Kodi, 23 months. Kodi is seen holding an ultrasound photo and smiling. “Last Christmas of 4. Merry Christmas everyone!” read the caption of Kane and Katelyn’s joint post.
Fans were quick to react in the comments section. “I thought you said you were done having kids? Lol jk I’m so happy for you guys!!!” wrote one fan. Kane replied to the comment and revealed the pregnancy was a surprise. “I ain’t gonna lie this one was a SURPRISE! I’m DONE DONE now. Snip snip,” he said.

This baby announcement comes a year after the couple released their first duet, titled “Thank God.” Kane and Katelyn got married in 2018. Kingsley was born in October 2019, and Kodi was born in December 2021.
Kane Struggles to Be Away From His Kids While on Tour
Last year, Kane spoke to “Good Morning America” about the difficulties of being away from his kids while on tour: “I think two days for me is kinda like my breaking point,” he said. “I was gone to Australia and New Zealand for 16 days. When you’re gone for 16 days, It’s like, ‘What’s going on? What are they doing? What am I missing?'” “It gets really scary because I don’t wanna just watch them grow up through a phone,” he added.
Kane has also been open about adjusting to being a family of four and praised Katelyn’s parenting skills. “It’s awesome, man. My wife’s a Superwoman, so she’s got her sleeping through the night,” Kane told ET. “It’s been an awesome transition.”
Katelyn Brown Chose Not To Announce Her Second Pregnancy
Despite the fact they often share family updates on social media, the Browns kept their second pregnancy a secret. “These past 9 months have been so sacred and special to me. Choosing to keep my pregnancy quiet was the best decision I’ve ever made,” wrote Katelyn on Instagram when they announced the birth of Kodi. “Soaking in special moments with my daughter and husband without the influence of social media and the outside world made this time that much more intimate and unforgettable,” she added.

Kane previously admitted on Instagram that he always wanted a son but that he loves being a girl dad. “I just always wanted to give them the life that I never had,” he told Gayle King in an exclusive interview on CBS Mornings.
The Brown’s Last Christmas as A Family of Four

Katelyn shared a video montage of the festivities on Instagram. The footage shows snippets of ice-skating, sledding, decorating cookies and visiting Santa Claus. “I LOVE your family dynamics! You and Kane are so humble. I never ever comment on any celebrities I follow. This is one exception as you and Kane have built what family is, or should be, all about!!” commented one fan.
