Reality Star Kendra Wilkinson has shared a rare insight into the personal life of her son Hank Jr. 

In an unusual display of openness, Kendra posted a photo of her 14-year-old son on Instagram last Wednesday to celebrate a milestone in his young life.

The picture showed the teenager looking very grown up as he proudly held up his admission into prep school for his proud mother to photograph.

In the caption, Kendra gushed about her pride in her son’s achievement. 

She congratulated Hank Jr., and went on to write, “I love you so much and watched you work hard to get to where you are. I’m so proud of you my boy. Keep Going!!”

She also tagged the school Hank Jr. will presumably be attending, Oak Christian School, whose shirt Hank Jr. was sporting in his snap.

Clearly Kendra was over the moon with what her son had accomplished and wanted to show him off to her followers.

But that didn’t mean that she wanted to hear back from any of them.

Why Kendra Disabled Her Comments 

In fact, Page Six reported that she had disabled the comments for her post. 

Although Kendra was allowing her fans a rare glimpse of her family, she had no intention of risking online trolls arriving to spoil the party. 

The same picture was posted by Hank Jr. himself. 

In his caption, he wrote that he was “beyond blessed to be given the opportunity to further my education and athletics” at the exclusive school.

Fans were able to comment on Hank Jr.’s post, and many noted the similarities between him and his famous mom.

One commented that “he definitely has Kendra’s high cheekbones.”

Others remarked on just how much Hank Jr. had grown up.

One asked “How is that lil Hank?”

This is a sign of just how infrequently Kendra allows images of her family to get out into the public eye.

Through his own Instagram account, Hank Jr. has let us know a little more about himself and his hopes for the future. 

In his bio, he has shared his ambition to become a basketball player.

He comes from an athletic family, with his dad, Hank Wilkinson, a former NFL player. 

Kendra Said She Will ‘Always Love Hank’ 

Hank Sr. and Kendra called quits on their relationship in 2018 after a cheating scandal broke out.

Despite their crazy past, Kendra has gone on record praising her ex for his ability as a co-parent. 

She told People in January this year that she will “always love Hank”, who she described as “an amazing father, an amazing co-parent,” who “deserves all good things.”

With their son now admitted to such a prestigious private school, it looks like there’s nothing but good things coming the way of the whole Wilkinson family.
