Insiders have let slip that King Charles III has been given two years to live. The king of Great Britain was diagnosed with cancer less than two months ago. Since then, In Touch has reported that inside sources have revealed more devastating details about the king’s health.

In Touch reported that they had been informed that King Charles is battling pancreatic cancer. The sources added that he has allegedly been told by doctors that he doesn’t have long left.

Before the report, the royal family has tried to keep information about the king’s health as private as possible. Buckingham Palace confirmed in early February that the 75-year-old had been diagnosed with cancer after having surgery for an enlarged prostate the previous month.

This meant that even details like what type of cancer the king is suffering from were intended to be kept under wraps. However, the source divulged that the true extent of King Charles’ diagnosis is actually an “open secret” around the palace.

A second source added that many people around the royal family have always believed that the king’s cancer is worse than it has been made out to be. Even before his diagnosis, there were allegedly a lot of concerns about his health.

King Charles Has Returned to Public Duty

Despite this, King Charles has not completely withdrawn from the public eye. He has continued to attend some engagements, but this could just be in order to keep up appearances.

One of the sources told In Touch that the king wants to prove that he is still capable of performing his duties as king. However, there were other reasons for him to continue to engage in his public duties.

Since the announcement about his health, some wild conspiracy theories have popped up concerning King Charles’ welfare. There were even some reports earlier this month claiming that the king had passed away.

A Russian news organization started the baseless rumor, leading some people to believe that the royal family was covering up the truth about King Charles. However, Buckingham Palace quickly shut down the rumors, confirming that the king was still alive.

Continuing to make public appearances has been a way for him to assure the public that his health has not deteriorated further. However, according to In Touch and their anonymous sources, the king is living on borrowed time.

One source added that Charles is following doctor’s orders, and is willing to try any treatment to extend his life. However, they also said that this could mean an extension of just “a few years.”

Charles has held the title of king for less than two years. He accepted it in September 2022 after his mother, Queen Elizabeth, passed away. After his mother’s long and historic reign, inside sources described Charles’ potentially shortened time on the throne as a “tragedy.”
