Kody and Robyn Update After Garrison’s Passing

Kody and Robyn Brown have been keeping to themselves ever since Kody’s son Garrison passed away in early March 2024.

However, they were recently seen in public.

They went to Garrison’s memorial service which was held by the Nevada National Guard on March 24.

Garrison was a member of the Nevada National Guard, which is why they organized this event.

Who Attended Kody’s Son, Garrison, Memorial Service

The National Guard’s official Facebook page posted some photos from the memorial service.

And Kody and Robyn could be seen in those.

During the service, they were sitting in the front row, as were Janelle, Hunter, Christine, David, and more.

Kody and Robyn didn’t sit next to Janelle – there were two people between them and her.

In one of the photos, Janelle looks devastated.

She had just been handed a flag as a thank-you for Garrison’s service.

Kody is not visible in this photo, but Robyn is.

Robyn Seemed Upset During Memorial Service

And she seems upset, too.

She is looking in Janelle’s direction.

She is doing the same in some other photos, too.

One other photo also shows her and Kody together.

Kody has a hand on her leg in what looks like a comforting gesture.

Both of them seem sad.

Attendees Wore Hawaiian or Floral Attire in Honor of Garrison

Robyn is also wearing a floral dress.

Many of the attendees chose to wear something with a floral design.

Some wore Hawaiian shirts, while others went with floral ties.

This was done in honor of Garrison, who started his own clothing line, Bob’s Floral, in 2019.

The memorial service was the first time Kody and Robyn were seen since Garrison’s passing.

Kody and Janelle’s Statement: ‘Our Loss Will Leave Such a Big Hole in Our Lives’

After he passed away, Kody and Janelle made a joint statement on their Instagram accounts.

It read: “Janelle and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. Our loss will leave such a big hole in our lives, that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

After Kody posted his statement, he went silent again.

He hasn’t posted anything else to his social media since.

Robyn also hasn’t shared anything about Garrison on her social media.

She hasn’t posted anything on her own Instagram since 2019.

Janelle has, however, made some more posts since her and Kody’s official statement.

In one of them, she talked about the memorial service that they all attended.

She shared some of the Nevada National Guard’s Facebook photos.

And she wrote: “Garrison was honored by family members and by his National Guard Unit last Sunday at a celebration of life ceremony. He would have loved it.”

She also said that it’d been hard trying to get her brain to work properly again.

Robyn Expressed Her Gratitude for Outpouring Love and Support

However, she added that she was grateful for the outpouring of love and support she’d received over the last couple of weeks.

She called the support overwhelming.

And she said that she was honored.

Then, she thanked everyone from the bottom of her heart.

In the last paragraph of her caption, Janelle also commented on the photos she was reposting.

She wrote: “Many [of] you have already seen a lot of these online, often with snarky comments accompanying them. But this was a beautiful moment for us.”

This may have been referring to the many comments people left under the Facebook photos criticizing Kody.

One commenter wrote: “You’d think Kody would be closer to Janelle not hand draped across Robyns leg.”

While another said: “I do LOVE how David is right beside Kody. A true gentleman, right there. David not Kody.”

However, based on Janelle’s caption, it seems that the event was incredibly meaningful to the entire family.

Time will tell if Kody or Robyn will make another statement about Garrison.
