It’s been 30 years since the death of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman. The murder sparked numerous pop culture moments that defined the 90s as Nicole’s ex-husband, OJ Simpson, went to trial for her murder. Now, 30 years later, an old friend has spoken out about their last words with Nicole.
Kris Jenner Speaks Out
Kris Jenner recently participated in a documentary titled The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, which aired on Lifetime. In the interview, Kris explained how she and Nicole had been helping longtime friend Faye Resnick tackle an addiction problem.

Nicole had actually gone to the rehab facility where Faye was for a visit and called Kris when she left. The two were rotating back and forth with visiting Faye as they wanted to ensure someone checked on her daily.
Kris recalled Nicole saying, “No, Faye’s having a good day, I’m leaving, your day’s tomorrow.” That was the last time that Kris talked to Nicole as she was later found outside her home stabbed to death.
Jenner is still clearly distraught over the death of Nicole, as she is very emotional during the interview.
She went on to say, “You never get over losing a friend that way, and I think I pack it down so far deep inside, you know? It’s been 30 years.” Jenner also added that it was “One of the worst days I’ve ever experienced.”
Kris Jenner and Nicole Brown Simpson’s Friendship
Kris Jenner was Nicole’s longtime friend, and the two families had plenty of ties. Many will remember Kris Jenner’s ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, as being part of the “Dream Team” that defended OJ in his criminal case for the murder of Nicole and Ron.
The complex web of friendship is confusing for those who didn’t live through the time period or keep up with Kris on her hit reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
OJ Simpson was also very close to Kris’s family, including her children. He even went on a vacation with Nicole and Kris’s family in 1994, just months before she died.
Kris Jenner and Nicole Brown Simpson’s Last Phone Call
OJ and Nicole’s marriage was filled with abuse and infidelity. Nicole called the police on OJ numerous times, resulting in an arrest in 1989. The two finally divorced in 1992, but they weren’t finished.
After getting divorced, Nicole and OJ remained in a very close relationship. OJ clearly did not want to let go and was jealous of Nicole’s friendship with Ron Goldman, which she stated was “platonic.”
In previous interviews, Kris said she talked to Nicole the day before she was murdered and made plans to have lunch the following day. Unfortunately, that day never came for Nicole.
Kris has also revealed that Nicole mentioned wanting to talk to her about something important while they were on that last phone call. Kris assumed that it had something to do with Nicole’s “volatile” relationship with her ex-husband, OJ Simpson.

It would have been very interesting to find out what Nicole wanted to tell Kris Jenner before her death. It is possible that she knew OJ was following her and even that she was planning revenge against Ron Goldman.
