At almost 11 pm EST on February 11th, People.com reported that Larsa Pippen unfollowed Marcus Jordan on Instagram and removed all photos of him from her feed. In their article, People asked: Have Larsa and Marcus called it quits?
49-year-old Larsa posted an Instagram Story with a poll for her followers to vote on a question: “Should your friends unfollow your ex?” She also shared a video of actor Morgan Freeman talking about trusting your “inner voice.”
Page Six alleged on February 12th that Marcus has now unfollowed Larsa and deleted all photos of her from his social media. However, People has confirmed that Larsa’s representatives haven’t responded to their request for comment. They have been unable to reach Marcus’ representative.
Michael Jordan Allegedly Dissaproved of the Relationship
Marcus is 33 and the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan. In July 2023, Daily Mail obtained a video that allegedly confirmed Michael did not approve of Marcus and Larsa’s relationship.
The Daily Mail article described Michael and his wife, Yvette Prieto, leaving a restaurant in Paris. In the video, Michael is asked if he approves of Marcus dating Larsa, who is sixteen years older.
At first, Michael laughed in the video. But then he was heard saying “No!” before he and his wife got into a car and drove away.

Marcus’s birthday is December 24th. Larsa and Marcus appeared together at a birthday celebration in his honor held at E11EVEN Miami on December 30, 2023, as reported by Page Six.
The Page Six article described Marcus, Larsa, and a group of friends who arrived at the nightspot at 2:30 a.m. A source told Page Six, “Their PDA was on full display. The group was having a great time.”
Ty Dolla Sign was performing at E11EVEN that night. The source claimed that Larsa and Marcus were “deeply engrossed in each other’s company” as they danced until well past 4 a.m.
Later, Marcus also shared videos of the birthday bash to his Instagram story. Larsa posted an affectionate photo of her and Marcus with the caption, “Happy birthday my love! I’m so blessed to have you in my life,” with a heart emoji. Marcus responded, “Love you more,” with two heart emojis.
Marcus and Larsa Began as Friends
The People article alleged that Marcus and the Real Housewives of Miami star officially began dating “in early 2023.” Larsa confirmed they were friends before their relationship turned romantic. Marcus and Larsa were also rumored to be dating the year before.
People reported that Larsa and Marcus were introduced by mutual friends at an L.A. party in 2019. The outlet later quoted Larsa as saying she and Marcus laid “a great foundation as friends.”

Still, the romance rumors sparked in September 2022 when Larsa and Marcus were seen at lunch together. Larsa denied the rumors in an interview with People at BravoCon in October 2022, telling the outlet, “We’re friends. We’ve been friends for a few years, and that’s really what it is,” and Larsa repeated, “We’re friends.”
But in January 2023, the friendship between Larsa and Marcus appeared to become a public romance when they were spotted walking together in Miami Beach in matching black outfits. Marcus and Larsa also shared a kiss during their stroll, which was caught in photos published by TMZ, so it was no real surprise on January 10, 2023, when People.com reported “multiple sources” confirmed Larsa and Marcus were officially dating.
Marcus Gave Larsa a Promise Ring
People’s sources claimed that Marcus and Larsa were “dating and happy,” while another insider alleged that it was “still casual and they’re having fun,” adding that Larsa was “trying her best to keep it quiet and not make a big deal out of it. They see each other at least a few times a week.”
Larsa was spotted wearing a diamond band on her ring finger last August, and the engagement rumors became so intense that she and Marcus had to address it on a podcast called Separation Anxiety. Larsa claimed on the podcast, “We’re not engaged,” but she also said that Marcus had given her a “promise ring.”

Marcus confirmed this, saying, “I definitely gave you a promise ring.” Marcus also claimed that they’d been discussing marriage, but it was not yet a “priority.” Larsa added, “The only thing we’ve come up with is that we want a destination wedding.”
Since reps for the pair have yet to make an official announcement, it’s unclear whether Larsa and Marcus have split up for good or if that destination wedding is still possible.
