Just over one month has passed since Riley Strain’s body was discovered in the Cumberland River after he disappeared in Nashville on March 8th.
Now, Country Cast has reported that Luke Bryan reached out to Riley’s family in the weeks following this terrible incident, and what Luke has offered to them is unbelievable.
Luke Bryan’s Unbelievable Offer to Riley Strain’s Family
A Country Cast YouTube update said that Riley’s dad, stepfather, and a family friend did an exclusive interview with The Pascal Show. They discussed various strange things about Riley’s case and what happened when Luke contacted them through his management team.
They talked about how Luke had reached out to them with empathy and that Luke even suggested he might want to meet with the family for a private discussion.
Chris Dingman is the family friend, and he told The Pascal Show that Luke’s manager had reached out to him “a couple of times.” Chris said that Luke had expressed his empathy about the tragic situation, and Luke would “possibly” talk with the family privately about their loss and what exactly happened to Riley on the night he went missing.
Why Riley Was Escorted From Luke’s 32 Bridge Bar and Restaurant
It’s common knowledge that Riley was kicked out of Luke’s 32 Bridge bar and restaurant on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Although Luke’s name is on the building, the establishment is owned by TC Restaurant Group.
There are still many strange, unknown things about Riley’s case, and Chris wasn’t implying that “anything bad” happened to Riley in Luke’s bar that eventually led to his passing. Chris just said, “I thought it was nice, the family thought it was nice, too,” that Luke wanted to get in touch with them to offer his condolences.
Chris alleged that Riley and his college friends from the Delta Chi fraternity went to several popular country music bars on Broadway that night. TC Restaurant records indicate that Riley “purchased” one alcoholic drink and “was served” two drinks of water before their “security team made a decision, based on our conduct standards, to escort him from the venue.”
Video camera footage showed that one of Riley’s friends followed him down the stairs onto the street when he was asked to leave. The friend then returned upstairs to the bar after Riley allegedly told them he was fine and would be returning to their hotel on foot.
Riley Texts Mom That His Drink ‘Didn’t Taste Good’
People.com published a shocking article on April 17th, and they reported that Riley’s mom, Michelle Whiteid, gave an interview with NewsNation claiming she’d received a strange text from Riley before he disappeared.
Allegedly, Riley texted Michelle and said he’d ordered a rum and coke from a bar that “didn’t taste good.” Michelle did not claim that Riley ordered that drink from Luke’s 32 Bridge, but she did text Riley back to say he shouldn’t drink that rum and coke.
Unfortunately, Riley didn’t appear to heed his mom’s advice. He texted her back that the drink “tastes like barbeque.” Michelle texted back, “Well, that sounds awful,” and Riley replied, “Well, it sounds good, but it’s not.”
Strange Autopsy Report of Riley
The Metro Nashville Police Department retraced Riley’s steps from the evening of March 8th. It determined that he and his fraternity brothers visited three other Nashville bars before ending up at Luke’s 32 Bridge.
Allegedly, their first stop was Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa Tex-Mex Cantina. Then they went to Garth Brook’s establishment, Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk, followed by Kid Rock’s Big Honky Tonk and Steakhouse.
Metro Nashville Police found Riley’s body “approximately 8 miles from downtown” on March 22nd, and MNPD later told People that the “preliminary autopsy showed no apparent signs of foul play and his death continues to appear accidental.”
Riley’s stepdad, Chris Whiteid, told NewsNation that he still couldn’t believe Riley fell into the river accidentally. Chris said, “If he truly fell in the water, and you can prove that to me, show me.” Shockingly, Chris even alleged that “somebody” could have “helped” Riley get into the water.
Strangely, the autopsy report from the MNPD medical examiner stated there was “no water in Strain’s lungs,” and there were allegedly no cuts or bruises on Riley’s body. According to NewsNation, these details have made Riley’s tragic passing only “harder to piece together” for the family.
Riley’s Last Text Messages to His Mother: ‘I Love You, Too’
Michelle told People she had texted and Facetimed with her son before he went missing. It’s heartbreaking to hear Michelle talk about her final conversations with Riley.
She explained that they “Facetimed for a while,” and sweetly, Riley wanted to show his mom what was happening around him. Michelle said that Riley was “so excited.”
After they had ended their FaceTime call, Michelle got another text from Riley. She texted him and said, “Well, you boys be safe. Make good choices. I love you guys,” and the last text she ever received from Riley said, “I love you, too.”
