Just last year, Marcus King got married to his now wife Briley Hussey in a beautiful ceremony in Nashville.
They tied the knot on February 19th of 2023, and it was even officiated by Jamey Johnson, a country music hall of famer who is a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
How Marcus and Briley King First Met
While speaking to People about how they first met, Marcus said “She waltzed up on my bus like she owned it, and I was taken with her sweet southern drawl.”
“She asked to connect to the Bluetooth, blared Linda Ronstadt and Aretha Franklin and we sang and danced till it was time for the bus to leave.”

“I fell in love, hard!…I told her the next morning to quit her job and marry me instead.”
Their love is evident when they speak about each other and just how special their wedding was. “My something-borrowed was a handkerchief that my bouquet was wrapped with. It belonged to my great-grandmother,” said Briley.
“[It] has been used as ‘something borrowed’ by every great-granddaughter in my family, on their wedding day.” During the ceremony, the couple even had Leah Blevins perform her song “Little Bird,” which is a direct reference to their relationship.
Briley Has a Music Career of Her Own
“Marcus has called me ‘little bird’ since the night we met,” added Briley. While Briley may now hold the proud title of Marcus’ wife, she has made a name for herself in her own right. She has been in the spotlight several times well before she even knew Marcus, and has released multiple original songs.
In 2015, she sang the U.S. National Anthem at Donald Trump’s campaign rally, something that ultimately gained her some significant attention. Things have only continued to look up for her music career after marrying Marcus, as music is a passion that the two of them share.

Briley is also an online personality and has amassed over one hundred thousand followers on TikTok where she shares singing videos and videos of herself and Marcus. On her social media, she can be seen performing at several different venues, including stadiums, posting all of the hard work she’s putting into her music.
Briley Studied Communications and Used to Have a Corporate Job
She has a successful career inside corporate America. After high school, she graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in communications and works as a project manager at Bank of America.
While she is certainly accomplished in many different facets of her life, here marriage to Marcus is a top priority. She gushes about her love for him constantly on social media, and the two of them can often be seen performing side by side on stage.

Only time will tell if the two of them decide to make any music together, but for now, the two of them are excited to continue building a life together.
