But the latest difficult moment for JLo this year came in June 2024, when Meghan McCain shared some details of a past visit that Lopez had on the talk show “The View”.
McCain Has Openly Criticized JLo
For those unfamiliar, Meghan McCain is a former host of The View. She now hosts a podcast where she talks about politics, pop culture, trending news, and more. She’s also the daughter of politician John McCain, who ran for President in the 2008 election against Barack Obama, as well as a writer, author, and columnist.
In a recent podcast episode, McCain spilled some details about her experiences when Jennifer Lopez appeared on “The View.” She called her a deeply unpleasant person and said she was not very nice to others during her appearance. She also said Lopez had a person whose sole job was to hold a mirror with lights while JLo got her makeup touched up backstage.

McCain also commented on the fact JLo traveled with a larger entourage than Kim Kardashian and the President! She said that some of the biggest stars she’s ever met only had a single publicist with them.
McCain also made a TikTok at one point criticizing JLo. It was taken down, and she said that she believed JLo herself was responsible for getting it removed. However, this allegation was never proven and the video was eventually reinstated soon after it was removed.
Unfortunately, comments like the ones from McCain aren’t new for the superstar. JLo has a history of allegedly being rude to her drivers, flight attendants, and event staff. While this was only the experience of one of the hosts on the show, it seems as if JLo didn’t make the best impression during her appearance on “The View.”
