Deadline reported the news that the pair are releasing a docuseries that will follow their journey into parenthood together, and it will reportedly document their upcoming wedding, too.
The outlet claimed that Peacock is the network that the show will air on.
And not only will Ashanti and Nelly be starring in the show, but they’re also producing it, along with Jenny Daly and Oji Singletary at Critical Content Studios.
Critical Content is the same company that was responsible for Sly on Netflix and Catfish on MTV.
The production for the show reportedly began filming a few months ago, so probably not that long after Ashanti gave birth to the couple’s son, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes.

Ashanti shared that it was going to be a combination of fashion, glam, and Caribbean vibes.

Just a day after the ET interview came out, TMZ published some surprising news that the couple had been keeping a secret from the public.
The outlet claimed that though Ashanti and Nelly had admitted that they were engaged and planning to have a wedding, they were actually already married by that point.
According to public records, the duo were legally wed on December 27, 2023.
The document didn’t reveal exactly where they’d gotten hitched, but it became official in St. Louis County, so TMZ predicted that they must’ve tied the knot in Nelly’s hometown.
