Ever since Kanye West and Kim Kardashian split up, the co-parenting of their children has been difficult. Now that Kanye is married to Bianca Censori, who strangely resembles Kim, it looks like his kids are picking sides.
Their oldest, North West, is the biggest player in the game. And you won’t believe what she actually told her mom about who she likes more.
Ever since Kanye got married to Bianca in 2022, there has been an interesting dynamic within the family.
Of course, many people have been outspoken about how Bianca used to look a lot like Kim before Kanye completely changed her look and made her wear outlandish and wild outfits. Now that they’ve been together for some time, Bianca and Kanye have apparently honed in her specific style.
North Is Dressing Like Bianca
Not so surprisingly, North has picked up on Bianca’s style. It kind of looks like she’s mirroring her outfits. It’s apparent that North’s style changes depending on the parent she’s around. However, it’s clear that she’s increasingly gaining her own sense of style as she gets older.
North has been pretty open about her love for fashion. It is just one of the many things she shares with her dad.
It’s hard to say if her copying of Bianca’s style comes from her love for her dad or her preference for Bianca over Kim. But fashion isn’t the only thing leading people to believe that North acts differently when she’s with Bianca.
Recently, North and Bianca were seen by paparazzi walking the streets of Paris, staying super close to each other. North was wearing a t-shirt with pants and a large fur hat. It looked an awful lot like the one Bianca wore over the holidays.
While North is always concerned about photographers, it looked like she let her guard down while out with Bianca. She could even be seen smiling in several of the pictures while the two of them got something to eat.
The smiling and casualness of the pictures made it seem like she was extremely comfortable around Bianca. She most likely sees her as a pretty safe and protective figure in her life.
North Faces More Pressure From Kim’s Side
But what’s crazy is that when she’s around Kim, it seems like she’s a lot more stiff and possibly uncomfortable. Of course, there are a lot of factors that probably play into this.
When she’s out with Kim, chances are that they’re at a pretty big event, which can be super intimidating. Being at big events like this also requires a certain kind of dress code, which North has to abide by. But that isn’t the case when she’s just getting dinner with Bianca.
Some people online have even speculated that she has more style freedom while she’s out with Bianca and her dad. So it’s possible that she also feels more comfortable just because of what she’s wearing.
There’s also a huge amount of pressure likely put on her from Kim’s side. They have an image and legacy to uphold.
But it seems like Kanye doesn’t really care about any of that. He’s stated several times in the past that he doesn’t want his kids to grow up rich.
Kanye even brought this up just last November in his song Eazy, where he called his kids boujee and unruly.
North Prefers Spending Time With Kanye and Bianca
It’s clear that many of his opinions have rubbed off on his kids. It’s most apparent with North, who has made it obvious that she prefers spending time with Kanye over her mom.
During a November episode of their show, The Kardashians, Kim told her sister Kourtney that North always comes home from Kanye’s place talking about how great he is. Kim went on to say that North believes that Kanye has everything figured out.
Apparently, he doesn’t have things like a nanny, a private chef, or private security. North said that Kanye just lives in an apartment like a normal person. Kim said that North even started crying and asked why Kim and the rest of the family didn’t have an apartment.
In response, Kourtney said that she struggles with the same issues with her kids and her ex Scott Disick. She believed that the things the kids don’t like fall on the parent who is more involved in their life.
This definitely seems to be true for North. Kanye has admitted that Kim still has the children eighty percent of the time, despite their co-parenting agreement.
North Idolizes Bianca
North is also obviously very young, so she doesn’t really know the full reality of what she’s seeing. She doesn’t really spend that much time with Kanye and Bianca, so she doesn’t really know what it would be like to live with them full-time.
So, in a lot of ways, it’s obvious that she’s idolizing both Kanye and Bianca. And it definitely shows when she’s out in public.
The whole thing is serious business, though. It’s clear that she’s attaching herself to Bianca rather quickly, and Kanye’s future with her still seems uncertain. Although they’ve now been together for a couple of years, there’s no denying that their relationship has been kind of strange.
As far as Kim goes, she’s previously justified her use of things like private chefs and nannies, stating that their help allows her to spend more time just being a family. It’s clear that North has no idea just how busy her mom often is. This doesn’t stop her from looking at Kanye as if he’s the better parent, simply because he and Bianca cook their own meals.
Right now, it looks like it doesn’t really matter how Kim justifies her actions when it comes to parenting. In North’s eyes, Kanye and Bianca are doing it right.
Kim Is Allegedly Jealous of Bianca
But what this means is that she may start looking at Bianca as more of a role model and feeling a lot more comfortable around her. Bianca also probably doesn’t put any kind of pressure on North, at least not the way Kim does.
It’s also more than likely that Bianca is more of a friend to North than a parental figure. It’s not really known just how much of a say she has in parenting, but since she’s only been a part of the picture for a couple of years, chances of her having authority are pretty slim.
This could also largely contribute to how North feels and acts around her. It’s possible that North sees Bianca more like a cool older sister or a cool aunt than a mother. That probably makes North want to spend more time with her since she doesn’t have her mom telling her things that she doesn’t want to hear when she’s with Bianca.
Between both Bianca and Kim, it’s clear that there are a lot of factors at play here. It also seems entirely possible that there’s some real jealousy there, as it’s clear that Bianca had a very eerie resemblance to Kim in the beginning.
Many have also speculated over the years that Kim is jealous of Bianca. The two of them often find themselves competing in both their fashion and on social media.
All of this could be pushed by Kanye, who also may be trying to get the upper hand by making himself look like the better parent to North and using that to his advantage. We’ll just have to keep a close eye on North’s behavior and even her fashion while she’s out with either her mom or Bianca, as it seems like that tells us a lot.
