One family feud is coming to an end. Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough are reportedly tired of all the fighting. It’s time to bring the fight for Graceland to an end.

The feud started in January 2023, after the shocking and untimely death of Lisa Marie Presley. Lisa Marie cut off her mom in favor of her granddaughter when it came to Graceland, the home and burial place of her father Elvis. Priscilla was distraught and quickly took steps to challenge the will.

The Battle for Graceland

Keough knew her family history. She understood the strenuous relationship between Lisa Marie and Priscilla.

Still, wanted to honor her late mother’s wishes via the will set out. That meant fighting for Graceland.

In Touch reports that Priscilla wants to be buried next to her late ex-husband at Graceland. Because of this, she wants to put an end to the feud, and she is begging her granddaughter to be allowed her own final wishes. The 79-year-old would like to be at Graceland in her final days to be able to be buried there.

The legal battle for Graceland was eventually settled out of court in May 2023, and a judge signed off on the agreement in November of the same year. Keough gave her grandmother $1 million in return for relinquishing claims to Lisa Marie’s estate.

Priscilla also got $1.4 million for the family trust control and $400,000 to cover legal fees. Priscilla felt like this wasn’t enough considering the way she grew Graceland into the tourist attraction that it became.

There were other legal issues for Keough to deal with. A fraudulent company attempted to claim Graceland, leading to it almost being put up for auction. That didn’t happen in the end thanks to Keough’s fight for it.

Sources say that the Daisy Jones and The Six star intends to move to the estate and run it.

The Presley Feud Comes to an End

It was due to the way Elvis’s granddaughter stood up to the fraudulent company and won that Priscilla decided it was time to bring the bitter feud to an end. She was so impressed that she realized her granddaughter was more than capable of running the show.

In May 2024, Priscilla invited Keough to her Beverly Hills birthday party. Keough’s twin half-sisters, Finley and Harper Lockwood were also invited, making it clear that there is an aim to bury the hatchet across the table.

People Magaizine shared photos of Keough attending the 2023 Emmy Awards with her grandmother, showing that the family feud had come to an end earlier than that. The 34-year-old was up for an Emmy for Outstanding Actress in a Limited Series.

All Priscilla now wants is to be able to be buried at Graceland with Elvis and Lisa Marie. That is the place where Elvis and Priscilla spent their happiest years together. It is a beautiful location with wonderful memories.

The best way to ensure her wishes will be to work with Keough instead of against her.
