Tamar Braxton and Jeremy Robinson are engaged, according to a report by US Weekly. The couple had previously split three months ago, although the reason behind the split wasn’t immediately clear.
In October 2023, Jeremy confirmed that the couple had broken up via an Instagram post. He stated that he and Tamar had broken up. He added that he chose to end the relationship so he could focus on being a better person and return to a positive energy.

The post did not go into detail about what had specifically happened that caused the breakup. Jeremy only stated that what had happened was private. Though, he did confirm that he did not cheat, and wasn’t in the relationship for the fame.
Jeremy further explained how he had ended up on the show that introduced him to Tamar. The couple met on Queens Court, a dating reality show that starred Tamar Braxton, Evelyn Lozada, and Nivea. Jeremy hadn’t intended on joining Queens Court despite the show asking him many times. Eventually, he gave in and ended up falling in love with Tamar.

During the show’s finale, Jeremy even proposed to Tamar. It was an emotional proposal, with Tamar telling Jeremy that she had always wanted someone who could look at her and see her for who she was and accept her. She believed that Jeremy was someone she had prayed for since she was a child. The couple would enjoy a long engagement before eventually breaking up.
Jeremy concluded his Instagram post by saying that he needed time to heal and that he’d always be friends with Tamar.
Tamar and Jeremy Reunited in December
The couple remained estranged for two months before rekindling their romance in December, according to Page Six. On Christmas Day, Tamar posted an Instagram reel of her wearing Christmas pajamas and opening up a blue box. Inside was an oval-shaped engagement ring.
In another Instagram video, Jeremy knelt beside the Christmas tree and asked for her to marry him. She agreed, and the couple kissed and hugged.

Tamar captioned the posts and discussed how the couple had got there. She stated that just a few months ago, they actually hated each other and were sure the relationship was over. But after having a really hard conversation, they knew that they were the only things that mattered. She mentioned that the past was the past, and they were going to focus on each other and not the naysayers around them.
Tamar continued the post by saying they were going to be proud of their love and that they’d be forgiving and fighting for each other every day. She concluded by stating how much she loved Jeremy and that their troubles were miles away.
Jeremy also posted about the day, sharing a picture of an up-close photo of the ring on Instagram. He also captioned it by wishing everyone Merry Christmas from their family and that he loved Tamar forever.
Tamar is a famous reality star and singer who is part of The Braxtons, an R&B band that also comprises her sisters, and Jeremy works as a personal injury lawyer who sometimes stars in reality shows alongside Tamar.
