An IMDB report published on April 27th asked the shocking question, “Is Little People Big World over for good?” According to IMDB, Matt Roloff has supposedly explained what is really going on since a recent episode of LPBW “left viewers on a cliffhanger.”
Now, it seems like Zach and Tori Roloff aren’t just saying goodbye to LPBW. The reality show may have suffered a brutal collapse, and the Roloff family might be falling apart completely.

Zach and Tori dropped their bombshell in February. On April 23rd, People Magazine reported that Matt and Amy’s son and his wife had “said farewell” to LPBW on their podcast, ‘Raising Heights.’
It’s been an extremely popular reality show on TLC since 2006 and has been running for 25 seasons. But is Episode 10 of season 25 really a goodbye to “tens of millions of [LPBW] viewers,” as IMDB claims?
Episode 10 aired on April 23rd. The shock value started with the episode’s title, which asked, “Time to Move On?” Divorced spouses Matt and Amy Roloff reflected on their “past and their time” on the show, and it sounded suspiciously like a “sendoff.”
Zach and Matt Remain at Odds
People reported plenty of “family drama” between Zach and Matt during Episode 10, as the father and son “remained at odds” over the sale of the Roloff family farm. The episode also showed Amy on a lunch date with her second husband, Chris Marek, and the couple revealed a whole lot more than just small talk.
Chris asked Amy if there was any hope that Matt and Zach would end their feud. Amy claimed she was “in the dark” about how the feud started. Shockingly, People wrote that Matt and Zach’s relationship is “fractured,” while Amy seems to agree that their relationship has “changed forever.”
Thankfully, Amy revealed in a confessional that her relationship with all of her children and grandchildren is “intact.” Another People Magazine report confirmed that Amy and Chris are “friendly” with Matt and his fiance, Caryn Chandler.
But Zach set the record straight in a shocking confessional during the episode. While Zach claimed “no one’s holding grudges,” he also confessed “there’s not much of a relationship” between him and Matt.
Zach explained that the ship had sailed, and he and Matt were “just doing our own thing.” Shockingly, even if their relationship does heal with time, Zach thinks it will always “be different” between him and his father.
Matt spoke to Caryn, Amy, and Chris at the end of Episode 10. He understood that Zach and Tori wanted to “isolate themselves to give themselves space,” but Matt also said, “We’re two years into it.” He confessed how heartbreaking it is when “you don’t get to see your grandkids.”
Fans are wondering if Matt was shading Zach when he claimed that “somebody can’t seem to find healing” or “build a bridge.” If this is truly the end of LPBW, Matt seems to be looking to future possibilities.
Matt Wants the Show to Continue
IMBD mentioned that Matt Roloff’s explanation was the subject of a Monsters and Critics report, also published on April 27th. This report confirmed that Matt is “no longer under contract with TLC” and that “he and the rest of the cast have officially fulfilled their filming obligations.”
Monsters and Critics reported how Matt wanted to shed “some light on the future of LPBW.” He chose a recent Facebook post to explain “everything in detail.”
Matt answered a “common question” he received: Was Episode 10 on April 23rd the “Season” or “Series” finale of LPBW? His opinion is that TLC didn’t “announce” whether LPBW is ending for the season—or for good—because there could “maybe” be “look-back special shows in the works.”
Episode 11 of LPBW is listed on IMDB under Season 25. The episode “Big Love” aired on April 30th and was a “look back at the lives of the Roloffs” from the beginning to today. Could that be what Matt was talking about?
Matt doesn’t seem to want to believe LPBW could be over. He even brought up all the times that TLC has “teased” they’d be canceling the show and how it still continued on.
Even though all of the OG Roloff kids have “walked away from filming,” Matt claims that TLC is “holding off” on saying LPBW is over because viewers “enjoy watching the drama play out between the castmates.” Matt wrote on Facebook, “Viewers want relationship drama and then resolutions.”
That’s kind of a crazy way to live his life, but Matt seems to genuinely want LPBW to continue. He even thinks that “specials and spinoffs” are a possibility, although “nobody really knows at this point.” Matt concluded his Facebook confession: “I hate saying goodbye, only see ya later!”
