Gypsy Rose Blanchard has been all over the news since her release from prison last December. And she hasn’t shied away from drama, either. Rather than disappearing into the background and living a quiet life, she’s been making headlines for her relationships, starring in documentaries, and this time, for a feud with a beauty influencer.
Ever since Blanchard’s release from prison, she’s been closely followed by TikToker @flawlessnina, who is known for her beauty videos. In addition to her beauty videos, the TikToker has also been following Blanchard’s story since she was placed on parole.
According to The Blast, The feud started months ago when Blanchard took to TikTok to say that her man wouldn’t “touch Nina with a ten-foot pole.” The video went viral, and a number of fans have been wondering what the source of the drama really was.
The Start of the Drama
Luckily, The Blast obtained some inside tea from the beauty blogger herself, per an interview from June of this year.
According to Nina, the beauty blogger once believed that Blanchard had been wrongfully charged for her involvement in the murder of her abusive mother in 2015. Nina took things a step further and looked into the police interrogation videos following the murder.
She came to the same conclusion that many people have; Blanchard was the victim of Munchausen by Proxy. Munchausen by Proxy is a mental condition and form of child abuse in which a caretaker (Blanchard’s mother in this situation) will create fake symptoms of illness in their child to get attention and, often, financial gain.
Nina said that while still a victim in many respects, she believes that Blanchard used Nicholas Godejohn to commit the murder because she needed to “disassociate herself” from killing her mother. “She used an autistic man with multiple special needs and mental health issues to do her dirty work, and she tries to separate herself,” said Nina in the interview.
Nina continued to “poke the bear” so to speak by continuing to investigate Blanchard’s life after her release. Despite being married to Ryan Anderson at the time, Nina claimed that she was in contact with Ken Urker.
She predicted Blanchard would end up leaving her husband Ryan Anderson to get with Ken. Nina went as far as to claim that Gypsy may have been cheating on Ryan during their relationship.
Blanchard is Not Happy With Nina
Blanchard denied Nina’s claims. However, she separated from Ryan earlier this year and is currently in a relationship with Ken Urker.
Once Blanchard discovered Nina’s very popular TikTok videos, she blocked her. However, she unblocked her around March, and one of Nina’s investigative videos about Blanchard showed up on her FYP.
According to Nina, Blanchard allegedly reached out via private message to try to explain her actions. Blanchard asked for the messages to remain private, which Nina said she was willing to respect. However, she later discovered that Blanchard had shared the messages with a friend, so she decided to go public with the DMs as retaliation.
After that, Nina alleges that Blanchard’s boyfriend Ken “invited her out for drinks on a regular basis.” Nina says she never responded.
“He then asked if we could discuss this via phone,” said Nina. “I gave him a Google voice number, and he said he and Gypsy are only friends, and he wants me to give them grace.”
After the conversation, Ken blocked her. Then, Blanchard made her famous “my man wouldn’t touch her with a ten-foot pole” video.
After the debacle, Nina continues to talk about Blanchard’s drama, saying that she is “narcissistic, pretentious, and unstable. It’s like watching a plane crash, but you can’t look away.”
