The 61-year-old has reportedly not seen his youngest daughter in over a decade, according to inside sources.
Katie Holmes Determined to Give Suri as Private a Life as Possible
An anonymous informer told Page Six that the two had not seen each other since 2012, when they were seen spending time together at Disney World.
The insider explained that Suri’s mom, Katie Holmes, has taken charge of Suri’s wellbeing.
They said, “Katie has safeguarded Suri and she’s a devoted mom.”
The source went on to describe how normal a life Suri has been able to live away from her dad.
She was described as a “private citizen” who has not “lived her life in public.”
Suri’s parents split up when she was just 6 after Katie filed for divorce from Tom.

Katie admitted in an interview with Glamour magazine that she was determined to give Suri as private a life as possible.

She explained that her reason for doing this was “because she was so visible at such a young age.”

But court documents shared in November 2013 showed that it wasn’t just the public spotlight Katie wanted to shield her daughter from.
The documents also stated that Katie had filed for divorce from Tom to “protect Suri from Scientology.”

Tom is probably the most famous member of the controversial religion, which has often been referred to as a “cult”.
Some crazy accusations have been made about the church by past members over the years, including allegations of threats and abuse.
It’s believed that Katie must have signed multiple non-disclosure agreements after divorcing Tom.
This is thought to have been a preventative measure to stop her from openly criticizing Scientology after leaving her husband and the church.
However, the future of the church’s secrets now looks more uncertain than ever.
And it’s all because of Suri.
Now that she has legally become an adult, Suri will be free to discuss Scientology and Tom as openly as she wants to.
So far, she has not shared anything about her estranged father or his secretive religion.
But we already know that Suri herself no longer has any connection to the church.
Former Scientology spokesperson Mike Rinder told Page Six, “Suri is not a Scientologist and never will be… she deserved love and sympathy.”
For now at least, it seems that Suri will be able to continue living the private life her mom fought so hard for her to have.
