Tupac’s brother has slammed Drake’s latest song.
Drake’s shocking recent diss track featuring an AI version of the late hip hop legend has been all anyone in the world of rap can talk about in the last few days.

It wasn’t long before Tupac’s brother, Mopreme Shakur, shared his take on the 6 God’s controversial new track.
Tupac’s Brother Said Drake Was “Weaponizing” AI
He told TMZ Hip Hop that he had an issue with what Drake was doing.
According to Mopreme, the problem was that Drake was “weaponizing” AI all for the sake of a rap beef.
He compared using the likeness of his late brother’s voice to “bringing out a tank, or even going with a nuclear option”.
Instead, Mopreme believes that the rap battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar should be kept one on one with no outside help.

The Epic Drake and Kendrick Lamar Beef
But to be fair, although Kendrick seemed to be the main target in Drake’s diss, there were plenty of other rappers taking K-Dot’s side before Drake got AI Tupac and Snoop Dogg involved.
The beef has spread to include the likes of J. Cole, Future, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross and even The Weekend, in one of the craziest hip hop feuds we’ve seen in years.
Although Drake has responded to shots from all of these artists, it seemed like the recent Taylor Made Freestyle was meant for Kendrick alone.
This was why his use of AI Tupac was so significant for rap fans.
It’s well known that Kendrick, a West Coast rapper like Tupac, was inspired by the California Love hitmaker.
His celebrated album To Pimp A Butterfly took its title from Tupac’s projects, and the record even ended with a Tupac interview.
Mopreme, however, saw this as totally different from Drake’s use of his brother’s voice, as it was intended as a tribute.

Mopreme “Has Nothing but Love” for Both Rappers
Despite this, TMZ reported that Mopreme “has nothing but love” for both rappers, and only hopes that their rap battle remains a sport, instead of escalating and becoming violent.
He also confessed that Drake’s use of AI made him finally understand that it was “a hell of a tool.”
But he was also worried about what it might lead to in the future.
In particular, he was concerned that future generations might not be able to tell the difference between the AI Pac and the real Pac.
Which would then leave them confused about his brother’s legacy and his undeniable impact on hip hop culture.
With this latest all-star rap beef, that same culture looks as though it’s going through a significant moment once again.
Regarding who might come out as victor, Mopreme said that he can’t call it.
And it looks like the feud is far from over with Drake, and the rest of us, waiting for Kendrick’s response.
