Vanessa Hugens revealed her pregnancy at the 2024 Oscars. The 34-year-old High School Musical alum showed off her baby bump on the red carpet.
Vanessa wore a figure-hugging black turtleneck dress accessorized with diamond jewelry. She posed for photos while holding her belly.

This will be her first child with her professional baseball player husband Cole Tucker. The couple tied the knot in December 2023 in Tulum, Mexico.
“[Cole] treats her better than any guy she has been with. They are in a really good place,” an inside source told Us Weekly. “With marriage and a baby, she is ready for the next phase of life.”
Vanessa Shut Down Pregnancy Rumors in October
Last October, Vanessa denied rumors that she was pregnant. Fans speculated about a possible pregnancy when she posted photos of her bachelorette trip.
They pointed out that Vanessa was wearing baggy clothing on the trip. “Not pregnant so y’all can stop,” wrote Vanessa in an Instagram comment. It turns out, the rumors were true but the couple kept the news private until the Oscars red carpet reveal.

According to US Weekly, Vanessa and Cole met during the pandemic at a virtual meditation event hosted by Joe Jonas.
Vanessa slid into Cole’s DMs. “I found him and we started talking, and yeah, it’s wild that, yeah, we found each other over Zoom,” she shared in an interview with The Drew Barrymore Show.
“I’m such a go-getter. If I want something or someone, I’m going after them. I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, ‘Hey, it was nice to meet you.’ So I think there is no shame in making the first move. If you want it, why wait for someone else to give you what you want?”

The two were spotted together in November 2020 and hard-launched their relationship on Instagram the following February.
They got engaged in December 2022 after two years of dating. Vanessa told Today that she knew Cole was the one early on: “I knew. After our first weekend together, I called my sister and was like, ‘I think I just found my future husband.”
While the couple kept their baby news under wraps for a while, they haven’t been shy about expressing their adoration for each other in various interviews and on social media.

Vanessa also previously spoke about her desire to be a mother. “I always thought I would be married at 25, because that’s when my mom got married, and then when that didn’t happen, I was like, ‘Oh, OK, So we’re just going to shift everything back a bit,’” she shared with Nylon in a September 2022 interview.
“I always thought that around 36, 37 is when I would want to have kids, and that still plays. I don’t feel panicked about it.
Before Cole, Vanessa was in a nearly decade-long relationship with Austin Butler. They broke up in early 2020.
