Yo Gotti has gifted his girlfriend, Angela Simmons, 3 expensive Birkin bags for Christmas, according to People Magazine. The bags were all from famous luxury designer, Hermès, best known for their quality and price tag. Like many designers, Birkin has its share of rare or limited releases, too.
Yo Gotti showed no price is too much as he bought three rare Hermès bags for her. Angela now owns a Faubourg 20 in midnight matte, a 25 Noir Crocodile, and a limited-edition Rock 25. Altogether, the three bags cost $400,000.

The Rock 25, alone, tends to start at $90,000 and only increases from there. It’s best known for its plethora of pockets, volupto leather, and palladium hardware. The Faubourg 20 is even more expensive, with an average price of around $350,000 all on its own. The Faubourg’s claim to fame is its design. It’s designed to look like the Birkin’s building in France. Of all the Birkin bags out there, the Faubourg is considered one of the “Holy Grail” items for serious collectors. The Noir Crocodile has an average price of $60,000. Its biggest claim to fame is its use of actual crocodile skin.
Angela also showed off each piece in a series of Instagram pictures. She captioned the posts, ‘blessed beyond measure.’ The Christmas gifts mark an important moment for the couple who waited a long time to start a relationship.
Yo Gotti Had Feelings For Angela Long Before They Were Together
Yo Gotti first hinted that he was crushing on Angela during one of his songs. Titled, ‘Down in the DM’, he wrote a verse about following Angela on social media. He admitted that he had a crush on her. But then he learned that she was engaged to another man.
In 2017, he wrote another song about her called ‘Save It For Me.’ She had just become engaged to Sutton Tennyson at the time. She also had a child with Sutton. In the song, Yo Gotti raps about how he had tried to date Angela, but her boyfriend had moved fast and asked her to marry him instead. Sutton eventually passed away, which allowed Yo Gotti to have another chance.

At the beginning of 2023, the couple made their relationship official. They did a photoshoot together in January that showed the couple posing with a Rolls-Royce. To make their relationship even more obvious, Angela posted a caption with the picture stating that Yo Gotti was all she needed and more. They had their first public outing as a couple at a Grizzlies-Cavaliers game. They even color-coordinated their clothes to match each other.
Yo Gotti would also release a new song that shed light on his relationship with Angela and the devotion he has toward her. The song, called ‘The One’, has verses related to how she makes him feel nervous even though he’s a gangsta. The couple also made a music video for the song together. It featured them during romantic getaways to Dubai and Greece.

Yo Gotti also gave his family members checks for Christmas. According to Hip Hop DX, he gave his mother a large check worth $100,000. In a photo on Instagram covering the holiday, Yo Gotti captioned that if you weren’t hustling for the people you love, then what are you doing?
