Zac Brown is getting divorced for the second time. This time it is after just four months of marriage. His ex-wife is speaking out, and fans note that Brown is getting his karma dished to him.
Fans have taken to Reddit to discuss the situation, as well as looking for the truth. While Brown said that he had tried to work on his marriage, his ex-wife makes it clear that something else is going on.

His second wife, Kelly Yazdi, took to social media to share some of the words that the lead singer of the Zac Brown Band told her. They included dictating photos that had to be removed from her Instagram and blocking her modeling career. She shares that he would allow her to post things and then tell her to take it down, making it clear that he didn’t want others looking at “what is mine.”
At the end of the main post, Yazdi shared that Brown would gaslight, stonewall, and threaten. They are all signs of narcissistic abuse.
Reddit commenters discussed the situation, with some who know Brown from the past saying that the allegations aren’t that surprising. They also bring up that Brown allegedly forced his first wife to continue having children until she gave him a son.
Some Redditors did admit that they assumed the end of the marriage was due to infidelity and not abuse. While some claimed that the post from Yazdi was very similar to Jonah Hill’s ex Sarah after their split, other commenters made a note that abusers tend to follow the same playbook.

Other commenters on Reddit point out that Brown has attempted to keep his name out of situations in the past. He was found in a hotel room with drugs and strippers, but he allegedly paid off the cops to keep his name out of it all. Someone tipped off TMZ, leading to the story to spread.
Others have shared experiences with the band on their own where they would be happy and smiling. The minute Brown walked into the room, everything would change. The entire band would remain silent, as if scared of saying something around him.
Brown has turned to the courts to get a restraining order and to get the social media post by Yazdi taken down. He claims that the post goes against a confidentiality agreement that she signed in 2022.
That was followed by Yazdi making it clear that she will not “be silenced” about the situation, according to Taste of Country.
Brown likes to control the situation, and Yazdi is not allowing that to happen. She is being threatened with defamation suits, and she refuses to remain silent. She went on to share another post shortly after a music video, which included a “false and defamatory caricature obviously intended to be [Yazdi],” stating how ironic his statements are. He wants things to be private, but then goes on to release a music video that deliberately mocked their wedding.
